@@tamaskep4902 But what good is competition with their silly rules that don't apply to real fights at all 🤷‍♂️? Also, mma has a ton of BS about it. It's all just hype and lies. As I said before, the ground is the very LAST place you ever want to be in a real fight. You're a sitting duck the minute there are multiple attackers and you even way too often have to be very muscular or at least long limbed to really pull off submissions like in mma. And meanwhile you get dragged, scraped-up, grinded, slammed and mopped all over the floor just trying to pull off a simple armbar, especially if you are facing a much stronger opponent which is always the case. You can't just dab into multiple martial arts, you need to become extremely skilled and lightning fast in each of them. Your body _also_ has to be fully adapted to the martial art as well. Like Shaolin monks in their martial arts or muay thai fighters in theirs. If you throw kicks, you need to be fully flexible (Shaolin monk flexible), be very strong, have great form and technique, have blinding speed, as well as have an excellent understanding of the physics and mechanics of your kicking and how they interact with your opponent. Too many of these mma guys are grossly sloppy, stiff, unflexible, slow AF and don't even know how to throw kicks at all OR punches. They even fall all on their own. Leg kicks are useless and you risk breaking your legs each time. Real fights need to end in seconds, not a whole frick'n 15 minutes 🤦‍♂️. The mma fighters take countless strikes to their faces too while trying to pull off their garbage. None of them know how to block, parry or even dodge any strikes. Also, they throw waaay too many round kicks and round punches. That is one of the MAIN reasons why they end up on the floor so fast. Round strikes are easy to see, slow AF, have very poor accuracy, are easy to block or even catch, have no power at all and THROW YOU WAY OFF BALANCE. I personally am very against using strikes like that. Strikes should always shoot straight at the target with the power and weight of the entire body. Power travels in a straight line and speed accelerates in a straight line. Straight strikes, such as punches that shoot straight, side-kicks, front kicks and back-kicks are also much faster, harder to see, harder to block/catch and keep you well balanced and centered. I am also against using the instep of the foot for kicking. It doesn't even hurt and can injure your foot so easily. The ball of the foot and the heel are the proper striking weapons that should be used for kicking. The only time kicks with the instep are really fast and powerful are when you have a hold of your opponent and you can pull on him to quickly recoil your leg and kick him multiple times, but that is VERY hard to achieve. Only lightning fast masters like Bruce Lee, Shaolin monks and some other very efficient martial artists have pulled that off.

@@y200sub 1. I have some striking skills, but my knowledge bjj (or any other grappling system) is nearly theoretical. 2. I'll try to get up as soon as possible. If it's not possible, I'll try to hit my opponent in the groin or poke his eye and then get up. I beleive that bjj is very good in mma competitions, but it's usage in street fight is limited. I cannot imagine how you will perform a triangle, in somebody lied on his back in front of me with his legs spread I would hit him in the balls and that's all :)
