Hi. You dont need to apply for eVisa because you already got it under EUSS. Please watch my video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BDFaPrn0TU4.html
Hello, applauds for a very good explanation about the process. I have a quick doubt though. Can you please help me with below queries? I am holding Global business permit which is gonna expire this December. However, due to some personal reasons I moved back to India in June 2023. I was not aware that my BRP is still active until last week when I received a message from UKVI to convert into eVisa. Can I travel during this time that is left till December? Will anyone question my existence in UK for past 1 year? Is it a good move to convert to eVisa? How it will affect my future opportunities in UK?
Hi. Its upto you if you can take a risk, travel and give valid and strong reasons why you spent such a long time outside UK. Please read your visa approval letter and check how long can you stay outside UK? Try to apply for eVisa and lets see where it goes but keep in mind that the Immigration Officer might still ask you for your absence
Hello i got eu settled status and my biometric residence card will expire in 2028 i tried to apply for evisa but while i scanned the brc card the app says wrong document.looking forward for your reply
EU nationals and their partners who got status under EUSS scheme, dont need eVisa. You can see your eVisa but long in to your account using Immigration ID check app
I am currently on a Graduate Route visa and have been in my home country for the past seven months. My visa is still valid, and I am in the process of applying for an eVisa. On the application, there is a question asking for my location-whether I am inside or outside the UK. Should I select “outside” and then travel back to the UK using my BRP, assuming the decision may take some time and I will have returned by the time it’s made? Would this be a safe approach?
Hi. It doesnt matter, you can apply from anywhere. You can select your location and apply for eVisa. You can travel with your BRP till the end of December if its still valid
Thank you for this video, do you know how to works with travel abroad will we have to show anything to any country after the BRP card expires? Also what can I provide to people to show my residence when that BRP card expires? Thank you.
Hi. Your eVisa will be linked to your passport so airport staff will be able to view your visa status. Make sure that your contact details are updated in your UKVI eVisa account. Watch my video about it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eW30VF06uLE.html
Hello , My son (2 years old) has a BRC and it is going to expire in December 2024 . Do I need to apply for a replacement BRC , (i plan to travel in December). If there is need a replacement do I need to do it now ? How long does it take for the new BRC? Thank you
I didn’t receive email regarding e-visa because when I came UK that time my agent gave his email I’d on visa portal If I can creat my account from my email ID and apply for E- visa than is that possible that I’ll receive E-visa before December Or I have to change email I’d first? Could you please suggest me what should I do
Hi just wanted to ask I hold settle status indifinit leave to remain I was trying to apply for evisa but at the end is showing wrong documents why ? And do I neeed to to apply for evisa thank you
Hi. As I mentioned in this video, you dont need to apply for eVisa because you have already it. Log in and view your eVisa www.gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status
I applied for renewal of my brp on 22/4/2024 as it I would expired on 15/5/2024. Now almost 3 months gone. I had ILR with settlement visa.my spouse is a British citizen! So far no any reply! And have I to apply for evisa? I am confused. Pleas reply! Thanks!

Hi there, I came to U.K. in 2022. My leave to remain (visa for 2.5 years) is going to expire in November and so does my BRP. I will be making application for my visa extension in September anyway. Do I still need to apply for this e-visa?
Please I have an EU scheme pre settlement and I have applied for the e-visa using my passport. Does that mean I have to delete the e-visa in my ukvi account since I might not need it per this video.
My cousin came to the UK almost 25 years ago. He's on residence permit with no indefinite leave so he doesn't need BRP to prove his status. Does he need to apply for an e-Visa?
@UKVI.updates it's a sticker/vignette in the passport. It said residence permit. Type of permit - settlement. No Time limit on holder's stay on the UK. It was issued before the BRP era
Not at all. Nobody can kick him out. But he must apply for eVisa because he would need it when he applies for work, rent a house or travel outside UK etc ( To prove right to work, right to rent and right to stay in UK)
Please i came to uk 2022 under my father who is a EU..i tried to do the evisa but they told me am using a wrong document...please what should i do because i need to go back to Africa and am afraid...please help me
Hi. It seems you got pre-settled status under EUSS scheme? if I am right then you dont need to apply for eVisa. View your status here www.gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status
Hi there, I have got couple of queries regarding on BRP card to eVisa. Would you kindly aasist me on this regards, please. 1.Can my brother able to apply for UKIV accont and eVisa from outside UK without email from UKIV ( Gov.UK) ? 2. My brother not in the UK now. He is outside UK now. His BRP was applied here in UK through my email adress here in UK. The UKIV(Gov.UK) team sent on my email adress for his BRP card replacement for his eVisa. But, he is not in the the country UK now. What should I do ? and what should he do ? for his UKVI account & eVisa application. Kindly requested for your valuable assistance. Thank you. 🙏
Yes, your brother can apply for eVisa from outside UK even without receiving an email from the Home Office (if he got a BRP). Before I reply to your second question, may I know what is his visa status and how did he travel outside UK without BRP?
@@UKVI.updates many thanks for your kind response. My brother applied and got his BRP in 2018 in UK. Since then he is travelling in and out from the UK by using his BRP card. He is still living outside the UK due to his personal and domestic reason. But, he is wondering how to apply for UKIV account and eVisa from abroad without Home Office's email notification email. According to your information, he can apply from outside UK which is great news for him. Would you kindly provide the link about how to apply without Home Office's email notification, please. Thanks.
@@UKVI.updates many thanks. Really appriciated your valuable help and assistance on this regards. I will pass it onto my brother about this important informations. THANK YOU ! 🙏
Hello again im traveling January 2025 But im biometric card expire this December What should il do?? But il have evisa Do il need bring my expired biometric card ??
You can use your BRP card till 31.12.2024 if it is valid. From 01.01.2025 you will need eVisa to travel outside UK and comeback. (Without eVisa you cannot travel)
If we already have Ukvi account due to previous/current visa application made using id check app inside uk and able to view immigration status online, do we still need to apply for evisa? Evisa creates Ukvi account to access online status. This is confusing.
You can either use the same account or create new account to apply for eVisa. [Can you currently see your visa status or share code using UK Immigration: ID Check app?]
Hi my phone couldn't scan qr code for immigration id confirmation which was quite frustrating, option says i can used someone else's phone for id check confirmation app which can be deleted once completed which i did exactly .Later my friend has trouble in his own application when confirming his id check in immigration id check app as his phone was used to linked with my id check confirmation earlier .please suggest what should he do
Hi dear, My wife recently got settled status from presettle status and her card is expiring on 31st december 2024. Does she need evisa or need to link it with the travel document. And if required for this things (evisa link), does she needs to be in UK or she can do it while being abroad through online. Many thanks. Awaiting your kind response. Respectful Regards
Hi. People who got status under EUSS, they dont need to apply eVisa because they already have it. Yes she can link her visa if it is not already linked. She has to keep updated her details in UKVI account such as passport and other contact details. (eVisa can be applied from anywhere as long as applicant got a valid visa and BRP card)
@@UKVI.updatesHi, I have gladly subscribed and now I am part of your Army :) There is something important but i am confused perhaps you might know about it. My wife got settled status this year in September 2024 through EUSS as her father is an EU national. My child born in UK in 2021 and now he also got settled status. Are we eligible now to apply to register for British citizenship for our son now or we have to wait (complete) 1 year after he got settled status. So can we apply now for child citizenship or we can only apply after 1 year of having settled status.
Hello Mera brp 31 December expire ho rha ha ma na e visa apply kr lya ha 1 month pehly ab ma pakistan or wapsi pr Dubai stay krna chahti hn to brp pr travile kron gi ya travil hi na kron
Try these 3 options. 1) Sign in to your account from the email you have received from UKVI and follow the steps 2) Sign in from a different phone or laptop. 3) Reinstall the app
Means, don’t apply for eVisa if you are British, Irish, got status through EU Settlement Scheme. In addition, if you got legacy paper or passport endorsement such as a wet ink stamp or sticker confirming indefinite leave to enter or remain, then don’t apply eVisa until you make NTL application and get BRP.
@@UKVI.updatesso what eu settlement need to show for their status? I have brp which is valid till end of this year under eu settlement family member. Do i need to apply for e visa and if not then how will i verify my status
You need to be in the UK as a resident with ILR AND After 12 months you can apply for the British citizenship is expensive you need to get your language test and the life in the UK test they fees for the British citizenship are £150 language test, £50 Life in the UK test £19 for the BAIOMETRIC ID and fingerprints £80 ceremony British citizenship certificate And in top of this the £1500 for the application of British citizenship You need to get your criminal record and two referees one British and the second one none British citizen both referees don't have criminal record With all your documents you must go to your local office to check your documents to be scanned and sent to the emigration department online application. I am telling you this because I am already did the British citizenship application. People who are over 65 years old or under 18 years old don't need need the language test and life in the UK test
@UKVI.updates I got ILR finish end of December I was applying eVisa 2 weeks ago can I change no time limit or British citizenship? Please answer 🙏🏿 thanks
You do not need to change it if you already got BRP card. People with ILR and BRP needs eVisa. People who got ILR sticker on their passport, they need make "No Time Limit" application and get BRP. Once they get BRP they can apply for eVisa.
Hi, My sister has ILR stamped onto her old passport. She is currently not in the UK as doing her medical studies abroad. She visits here only on holidays. Now with the new e visa changeover . How would she be able to get the new brp/ e visa if she’s not here in the country. ? Even is she comes over for applying the brp, how would she provide address proof as she was not residing here permanently although was visiting to keep her ILR for the last 5 years. Please help.
Hi. She needs BRP card first in order to apply for eVisa. She has to come to the UK and make "No Time Limit" because the Home Office may invite her for biometrics etc. NTL application is free and she will be issued with a BRP card which will allow her to apply for eVisa. The Home Office guidance also says that by the end of 2024, the applicants will be directly issued eVisa rather than BRP card when they make NTL application.
@@UKVI.updates she will be coming to Uk on the 10th of November. But the trouble is , when switching to brp, they aree asking for evidence of staying in the Uk for the last 5 years. She doesn’t have anything to prove this. So is there a way around ?
No, I dont think if there is any such requirement however UKVI may ask for any proof of residency such as: 1. council tax letters 2. letters confirming tenancy or mortgage payments 3. electricity, gas or water bills 4. letters from employers that confirm employment 5. wage slips or P60s 6. school, college or university attendance records 7. letters that confirm registration with a doctor and/or dentist which also show dates of appointments
Its not mandatory but may be asked. What she will do if in case the Home Office ask for any of these docs? If she has any bank account in the UK or any bills on her name, will be helpful. She may get help from a family or friends to manage bills
yes all BRP cards expires on 31.12.2024. If you have pre-settled or settled status under EUSS scheme they you dont need to apply for eVisa because you already have it. Just long in to your account and view your eVisa
@@UKVI.updates I created account few days back, when I login to UKVI account it ask me to complete my ID check on app but when I try to upload my resident card it saying wrong type of document. It’s so confusing please help🙏
Pls guide me. I am indian passport holder. I got ILR so I have a ILR card which expires on 2030. But acc to current rules all cards will expire on 31 Dec 2024. Which means my card will also expire , even though it says 2030. So I took need to apply for digital e visa. Isn't it. Pls guide me. I haven't received email from home office yet. But my friends told me to apply to be safe
All BRP and BRC cards will come to and end on 31.12.2024 regardless you have received an email or not and as well as regardless of what expiry date is mentioned on your BRP (according to the Home Office). You dont need to wait for the Home Office email. You can create eVisa account anytime otherwise you wont be able to travel outside UK from 01.01.2025 onwards
@@UKVI.updates so when it asks when does your card expires, although mine is 2030, but should I type expiry date Dec 31st, 2024 or should I type the actual 2030
