That’s why you don’t get fooled by all the flashy cutouts and useless crap. I spent 300 too and I got a Daniel defense m4a1 with a CYMA platinum gearbox in it.
some airsoft guns (like the CYMA Platinums for $300 or less) have functional ones to make hop up adjustments easier. it's more a higher end feature but not rare by any standard.
@WaywardAirsoft because the gun didn't "Come with a battery and charger or functioning bolt catch" doesn't make them s#!+. The newer stuff isn't bad. I own 3-4 different LT replicas and 2 of them are still going strong after 6 years. Not bad for the $100 each I paid. 🙄
@@ThisIsBoogieJardid you buy from a different website because some websites sell them without a charger and on lancer tactical they say in the description if it has a battery or not that’s on you
Sorry to hear that dust cover latch is not functioning properly. We offer a 1 year factory warranty on all of our products. Please reach out to our customer service and they will help you with that problem. When it comes to the charging handle, by design it does not lock open. You are still able to adjust your hop up by holding the charging handle back while you spin the rotary hop-up wheel to dial in that perfect shot. However, we are happy to hear that the "gun performs pretty well!"
@Thisisoscar_ yeah. Ones broken and the others shoot but not consistently. They don't shoot every time I pull the trigger and when I pull the mag out around 3 bbs fall out the chamber.
@@kianmario3118 BBs fall out of AEGs is normal their hop-up design has a space for a few BB to be loose between the magazine and before getting fed into the hop-up/nozzle. I had similar issues like that, does it fire consistently when you hold the gun upside down? If you’re using hi-caps it makes it easier to wind the BBs down instead of up. If it works I’d say get some mid-caps they feed nice if it’s still the same I’d try to get lancer to take a look at it. But I think it could be the magazines
I just got an Arcturus mk1 cqb and the bolt release actually works on it. I also bought a lancer but decided that I liked the looks of the Arcturus better.
Complains about 95% of the issues of all airsoft guns... then actually has Lancer tactical answer him... doesn't tell you he contacts them and gets a refund... come on man
1. Not a lot of airsoft guns have a locking charging handle. 2. Most the time your dust cover is open because you're not gonna waster gametime closing it after adjusting hopup quickly. 3. Get a lancer gen 3 , not the needle tail gen 2 then tell me your thoughts. 4. Qc problems are everywhere, not just a lancer problem.
Lancer tactical is a good brand. As an owner of a LT m4, it is a GREAT gun and doesn't have any issues with it whatsoever. It should last you at LEAST 1-4 years. Just get a gearbox upgrade later on so that the motors don't break. Very durable and won't break on you just watch some torture test videos. It rly depends on the gen. I personally have a gen 2
@@user-yi4jk6ro4p I run a small shop. Lancers are great if you know what your getting. The gun may shoot 50fps lower than rated. There's about a 10% chance It will fail within a year or 2 of purchase. Theres about a 25% chance it will work fo 10 years without any problems. Whats awesome about Lancer Tactical is that their fully version 2 compatible. All standard aftermarket parts fit none of these gun destroying proprietary parts. You can pick up the cheapest gen 2 swap all the internals, for aftermarket prolines, , shim to perfection, do an RHop mod and be better than any gun that you can possibly buy even krytac. My basic LT-14 shot 497fps at 23RPS. My friends shot 520fps at 21RPS. Yes for anyone expecting to keep a Lancer fully stocked there is a significant chance you will get a lemon.
So. The dust cover latch not working is such a minor issue, and the lancer tacticals almost never have a bolt hold-open for the hop up. This has very little to do with quality control
Uhh the latch. I give you that, but the model itself doesnt have the lockback and the bolt release is there for aesthetics, you would probably have complained if it didnt had one.

I spent a $346 to get a lancer tactical proline battle hawk and came broken missing a mag and the bolt was screeching. DO NOT BUY A LANCER TACTICAL AIRSOFT GUN

Gonna play devils advocate here, If you want a lancer tactical gun, buy their new stuff, like gen 2-3, they are really good! I have a Mk18 by then and its sturdy, and works like a charm!

90% of the airsoft guns out on the market do not have functioning bolt-locks or bolt releases. much like how every airsoft gun has a forward-assist which is purely aesthetic
Anything mentioned in the video as being "poorly made" are inconsequential things in terms of performance. For some, this is not relevant as they "only" want to spend money on the internal parts, it must be fair 😊
There is nothing wrong with Lancer Tactical. That is old regurgitated BS you saw on reddit. There is a 98% chance you messed your gun up doing something dumb. no one stands behind their products like LT. Most of the thinks you mention are not even problems. If you research for 30 seconds before you bought you would have found out that those things are the design and not a flaw. If you wanted a blow back you should have gotten one instead of an impulse buy
Lancer tacticals are just fine, out of al of the lancer tacticals I've gotten, none of them had this problem. even if, these dont affect the performance of the gun and you can fix it easily
I have a gen3 that I didn’t waste $300 on and everything came out of the box great. Plus I wouldn’t waste money on the heavily upcharged flashy gimmicks
Too late 🫠 but I only spent 190 for mine and for what I paid it seems worth it, mine wasn't broken on the dust cover and came just find and just shoots fine. 👍

fed up of soo many ppl saying lancer tactical has poor quality control. All companies have a percentage of products with defect and lancer tactica is pretty much the same as all other brands but because lancer tactical produces in such a large scale it seems like a lot of their guns have faults while most other companies more than likely have a higher percentage of faults but because they produce less amount of guns people percieve them as having less faults.
So you criticize the lack of extrernal features (which are a niche for an AEG) to prove a point of poor QC but it doesn't lack in performance? Make it make sense...
a lot of M4 airsoft guns don't lock the bolt back and the bolt release is useless on most, so you can't list that as a problem if it's not a feature on most already
Uh…the gun says right out of the box that the bolt catch isn’t functioning 🤦♂️. I do agree lancer is not great, but not for the reasons you listed. Read and do your do diligence before spreading false things to others :)
My LT ak 105 works great for $200 and i was going to hpa it when it died and ive only cleaned the barrel, 2 years going strong and over 60,000 rds threw it and its my buddy loner gun
As an employee of lancer tactical I can say for sure that you should not buy a lancer tactical airsoft gun (I don’t actually work for them but I’ve been employee of the week 4 times and I build the guns)

my lancer tactical's slide broke, didnt shoot when i pulled the trigger most of the time, had terrible range, and was so light, meaning itss probably all plastic
I wouldn't say do not buy, this was a great purchase. Seeing he got a gun with blue attachments, I am assuming he's a speed softer, and this just isn't built for him.
A non locking mock bolt is a major plus. One less piece of mechanics to fail. As for the dust cover why would you want it closed when the real thing wouldnt fire with it closed all the time. Its not real but its the thought. Lancer gen2 and up have an extensive following since they made adjustments to their products they are one of the most bought products. No arguing here just saying your giving pretty bad advice for cosmetic problems you said it yourself the performance is good 🤷♂️ anywho colorway looks good and the dust cover latch is cpl bucks on any airsoft site
This is all bullshit Ive used lancer tactical for years I’ve only had one issue with a mag never any problems with the performance of the gun just like anything if you take care of it and clean it when ur done it will last forever I still have my original gun I got over ten years ago and still works great
I have a proline lancer and has held up for a year under heavy play and being ruff with it shooting 50,000 plus rounds and has the same performance as when I got it
Wait.. the bolt is supposed to lock..? I never knew that because my brothers lancer tactical that I fidget with doesn’t lock the bolt, unless there’s something else I’m supposed to do besides pull the bolt??
you can disable it by removing the slide spring and bolt... if you really want easy access to your hopup, its just cosmetics anyway @@ReaperProductionsthe2ndreal
Tbh you get what you pay for Lancer Trash-tical is definitely not the best budget replica. Also if you are spending budget prices for multi replicas instead of buy an actual higher grade product, you will run into these issues. I just have a problem with their trash gearboxes. $300 for an airsoft replica is still kinda cheap imo, but what can I say. I dropped 1300 on a gbbr lol

mine lasted for so mqny years i have the asl now but the asl is so good to adjust the hopup is easy not bery hard the relese its made to look more realistic and if i break a part i just upgrade the part to something better
