upgrade to riptide bushings and venom pivot cups.. it'll help you to trust your board more.. Its a literal beast at level 4

Dude, you are making way too much out of this. They didn't refuse the help you. This is just a miscommunication. All you had to say was, it's fixed. This kind of thing can happen with any customer service interaction. Cars, computers, dishwashers, whatever. As an older guy I can tell you that this kind of thing is going to happen to you again and again. I just had this same kind of thing happen with Samsung over a dishwasher. The real problem is that when you buy a complex machine online, there is no physical place to bring it for service. I can bring my bike to a my local bike shop for service but there is no Meepo shop.

Parts (when purchased separately): For parts bought separately, we provide a 3-month warranty from the day of delivery. Upon reviewing your case, we regret to inform you that your warranty period has already expired. Unfortunately, we cannot offer free replacements for your particular situation.

Update I took the battery out of the case. then I carefully removed the protective plastic on the battery. unplugged the wires that go to each series from the bms. I measured each series separately and wrote down the result and compared it to what the voltage should be. Everything was fine and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working. So I reconnected everything and now it seems to be working. it almost seems like the bms needed a hard reset. Have bought new PVC plastic so I can repack the batteries so they are protected. Hopefully this was a solution.

I took apart my Tynee Explorer to upgrade the ESC. I put it back together. Why? Because every single pluggable cable was professionally bound using heat shrink. Need to buy some to do it right. Quality and pride with Tynee. I also have Meepo Flow. It’s setup the same way as Voyager in terms of cable binding.

I have a voyager and posted so much about it on forums. Everything battery-related and the ESC had to be replaced. Very sensitive to any water and the battery spot weldings are super weak which is the top reason for loosing range. Will make a video about it soon

No one is perfect, you're way overblowing this. They were responsive, told you how to test and fix the problem, you fixed the problem, and you're mad because on the LAST email, after the thing is fixed (post-warranty) they didn't read fully? I mean honestly, he could have misread ONE word, since your email has the most important data at the end of a sentence that could have concluded with success or failure.

Good thing i just ordered jsut the envy . Hopefully their QC team is doing a better spotting these small detail issues. Or else people will start to just buy once and never return

I have a meepo hurican, and I've had the same experence. I asked if there was a way to change the speed limits on each mode, then listed out the speed limit on each mode. I know he didnt read my email because the responce was the pretty much a copy and paste of the second half of my email, just explaining the speed limits in each mode. with that being said, i love the board and its been amazing

⚡🤙🏼🤙🏼⚡ *Some of the brands used to zip tie the connector to stop it coming off,* they really should do this if there isn't a more ideal solution. Perhaps the agent used translation software and/or didn't quite understand what you meant. Communication can be an issue when there are language differences, whilst frustratin, I think there is chance that this was a misunderstandin and it's worth givin them the benefit of the doubt and clarify what you meant and how you feel/felt so they know for the future.

yea. benny is right. it wasnt them tryin to sell ya another battery or didnt pay attention. they arent great at communicating because of there language barrier and sometimes the software they use doesnt translate correctly. i do think they shoulda dived in a bit more, but ya, i dont think they meant it

I could agree with this video. I hit up customer service a month into my purchase because of squealing in the back right hub motor and they just kept giving me the run around. I fixed it myself with electronic cleaner but damn, that six month warranty doesn not mean a thing if they fight you over every little thing. Like my board but will never buy another one from Meepo due to this.

@@ericsandie7405This guy goes over the process pretty well: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jmdZ1LVrkZ0.html This one uses a Meepo board but I would only recommend the "CRC QD Electronic Cleaner" as it is safe with electrical components but the other stuff this guy recommends, I would not use personally: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3fy_PchmVfk.html It is a different board he covers but the process is almost the same. I would highly recommend also removing the wheels from your truck to get more access to the screws on the inside of the wheel. Otherwise you will have a hard time getting the sleeves off and possibly strip the screws. More than likely, it just need a light cleaning from debris and the motor bearing cleaned (regular skate board bearing inside the hub motor). I may even recommend using hex screws when you put them back on because the screws were the hardest part. This is what I ended up doing, so I can take them off easier. Hope this helps and you're back on the road soon! =)

I think it is because I sent hyperlinks in the comment section but I recommend removing the inside screws of the wheels to pull the sleeves off and use a cleaning product called "QD Electronic Cleaner". I use this to lightly spray the motor, wipe it down, and then use very light sand paper to grind the debris down. There is a few videos I would recommend watching that can help go over this process. I tried to send them but I think that is why my comment got deleted.

Awesome video amigo. Great you share a complete honest video like that. Most of the ppl out there don't share this stuff! So true what you're sharing! The thing is, it's with most of all the companies out there. Believe me, had my fair share in 6 years. Another thing is, they forget they are obligated to comply with the laws of the country they sell it to. Like here in Europe it is standard to provide 2 years, TWO YEARS of warranty. They forget and ignore the local laws. Thanks again for sharing! 🤙

i cant recommend any er meepo boards as they all die very quickly the 20 mile battery ones/er versions the battery always dies quickly

yeah honestly this is a good review. it didnt make sense for how they responded when you found the issue if not possibly cookie cutter or found on a forum for steps to resolve your issue. BUT not to down play what you felt i think its interesting that you pay 1K and they have tiers for warranty periods on more expensive boards. I dont know what might be their margin for profet and be interested but seemse like over all they have solid built boards. Comming from a Repair background... I think that they not only in this day in age of useless throw away devices... It is fantastic that they offer battery, logic board and even motor replacements directly from them. AND THEY GAVE YOU A DISCOUNT on a replacement battery. That is really nice actually. tell me would you be able to ask apple or samsung for a battery replacement for a cellphone. they would laugh at you and tell you to buy the new s24 or new iphone instead or pay 100+ for a battery... Them having videos of voltage testing and diagnostics from them is FINOMINAL i dont know any other company that allows the public to service their own things.

That single lose conection is probably done on purpose , how else they gona stay in bissness once all the custmors have brought the boards. Those connection clips are tested for things like that. They have purposly used a unsutable connector then used tape to make sure it stays cliped a while longer ( probably till the waranty runs out) and you wont even hear no lose clip shaking about as the clip is wraped in electric tape. You realy think they dont know about that fault, why else put tape on it.

I think it's a misunderstanding of "come loose" when you should have said "came unplugged". He probably thought the wire had come loose from where it goes into the battery pack. I wire-tie these connectors and tape them on my Raptor 2 to prevent unplugging. It is on you to articulate the problem correctly. If someone told me their wire "came loose" I would also think that it may have come disconnected from the solder point. To be fair though they could have asked for clarification.

I would have opened up the batt, and fixed it, before even contacting them. Dealing with dunce customers must be exhausting, especially in a second language. You could easily have reiterated yourself and everything would be fine. Only an idiot would have actually bought the battery based on that email.

I was confused because his email made sense, I happened to notice the time between emails is less than 2 hours. Most likely he was responding quickly with what he had to offer based on the previous communication, perhaps he was one track solving your issue and didn't notice your email or offered it anyway so that you'd understand what they can do and what they cannot. I'm not saying you don't have a point, but I am a multi track kinda guy, I can switch focus, pivot and update in realtime, you may find that familiar, but not all function the same mentally. This is a solid case for a prescription of rolling with the punches and maybe a pinch of salt.

i Had range problem on the new board i got Mini 5 , who was just a normal Battery , i asked them to replace it cause cells were dead or damaged . i said how much extra for a ER , they said We will send a ER free as charge . that was Great beside it took 4 weeks to get , not long after the cap holding the sleeve on the motor wheel unscrewed and took off , ( Thank god i wasn't going fast) but i rolled 5 - 10 meter on the motors to stop . i called them and told the i had an accident due to the crappy craft of the board , problem 2 . they sent a new Truck with 2 new motors and sleeves free. Not so long after i had battery drop ... again called them , they refunded me the whole Board lol the battery drop was lose connexions . so in the end i have a working board cause i fixed it and i have spare parts LMAO ( in the end it is still their fault , so i guess i had a total different approach , and they also had a different one . i told them i was gonna make a YT video telling the board almost killed me due to Faulty equipment . everything got fix pretty quick . Thanks to the customer service . if i am correct i was dealing with a Girl named jasmin she was great .

This is the going rate with most manufacters in China. You have the language barrier which can be frustrating on the technical side. Also I typically have to wait a few days to hear back. I have learned any PEV you buy, you ned to be willing to work on it yourself. That and the great people of RU-vid like yourself makes these videos to help us out.

Its not that terrible considering they are Chinese. Sometimes you have to tell them in caps lock or other easier words and they will get it.

Thanks for sharing this in detail. I think I've been in the same boat and just have given up on their customer service. I'm on the same page with you... meepo has some good value products, not great great build quality but pretty good. I'd love to see what your thoughts are with exway?

I think what happened here was that, somehow there was confusion in reading the email chain and he didn't notice or read the "everything is working" email. I would have just reiterated that message.

I second Tynee. Impeccable customer support. Recently, they thanked their customers for buying their Tynee Mini 2 back in 2022 and making them the most popular mini eboard brand in 2022. They sold us an updated battery pack (363Wh Molicel P42A) for only $200, which is insane, considering the fact that those battery packs are sold at ~$400 dollars.

Yes this happens to alot of e scooters boards bike batt ..you gotta know how they work im glad I had experience building rc cars it helps alot

Yup. I built RC cars and FPV drones and that XT60 connector can become loose with constant vibration.

Couldn't agree more with everything you said. On point. 7 months in when I started having battery issues. Do you know of any other skateboard batteries (backfire maybe?) that i could put on the voyager?

i'm not advanced enough to feel confident switching out batteries like that, i know you can buy new batteries from meepo but they're around 400$

I think if you take it to a repair shop, they might be able to hook up some aftermarket 18650 cells with the original Battery management system circuit board, and have it work as new, at a fraction of the price. Bought the backfire 42 volt 454wh battery and placed it on the voyager. Worked perfect.

I had the same exact problem in a little different way in a different part it was my hand piece WTF all I remember electric what's the train sets I'm about 62 now yeah a little wild and free will I finally did try on an electric skateboard a small one belt it was insane so I had to upgrade how is telling my little brother about how I wanted to go into debt and make payments on a $3,000 board well to surprise me he ordered me a meatball I don't know why it keeps saying that I said meepo there it got it right but he ordered a suicide belt board I didn't know it was a fast one like tha when I said I wanted to really go. I really meant range. When I got on it it threw me three feet in the air 😭 twice. So it's not like I was trying by the end of the day when I wrecked it was the confusion of the hand controlled and it's sensitivity it's been over 6 months and I'm still in paint

I didn't want Chinese maid board because of how they are owned by the CCPbut my little brother ordered one for me I would not have ordered a belt drive because of the extra expense I'm waiting on four more sets I bought three already there are $30 a set and I can ride it good now I broke my arm first day though we can speak on that later I learned to ride it after that bleeding ! It's been 6 months still hurts like hell but I'm going to ride the hell out of that thing thank God I haven't went down again but that once but that time I had padding on you can probably figure that one out

My charger v4 shuffle fried..they knew they had issues..they didnt replace it.. If i bought a laptop and the charger died in less than a year they'd replace it..but i still love my shuffle...😅😅😅

Hey man, I really think the Customer Service guy from Meepo doesn't deserve such harsh remarks, he helped you with the info you needed, you got the thing fixed, AND he gave you a discount. Also, I'd be so happy with response time I see in your screenshots! You have exchanged multiple emails in the same day!
