Good video! I have a bunch of Milwaukee tools as well and I just got this saw new for $185 plus tax. All you need to do is get a shipping label from Milwaukee and drop it off at a FedEx location.
I bought the M18 Fuel 16" saw made two cuts, set it down and it did not run again. Took it back to the dealer, they sent it in for repair. Repair place said it would cost me $185 or less to fix it. Told them to just send it back. I got it back in parts. I am working on it myself and am finding the the kick back brake micro switch is not making contact to allow saw to run. still looking at what i can do to fix the issue. I am not pleased with Milwaukee and the way they handled this issue. Thanks for sharing.
What a pain. Thanks for sharing that. Good luck with it. When they are running the are handy little saws. Just a shame it’s not very repairable by the average handyman.
Why not send it in? 5year warranty. 3year is for battery. Free label, drop off or they'll even pick up in some places. Even out of warranty 5 years down the road Milwaukee would probably send a refurbished back to you.
Great question. The reason for me there’s another video on RU-vid that the guy sent it in five times they never fix the problem. I personally wanna pull the trigger and look at someone in the eyes and tell them this thing still doesn’t work send it back or replace it. I got another one. I like them I just think they are throwaways like everything these days. I just didn’t want some poor sap to feel alone like he’s going crazy if he can’t get the results he’s looking for. Cheers 🍻
