the same thing happened on my macbook pro 16. I am very depressed. I paid a very high cost for a screen replacement and was away from my device for 10 days...
That's terrible! I wound up changing to a MacBook Air with the M1 processor and selling my MacBook Pro to a friend. I think he attempted the screen replacement himself.
Looking for your opinion on this product being used with an 11" Ipad Pro and a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon. I am wondering if you think my Lenovo would be more suited to properly operate this product free from damage as it does not have a bezel-less screen, whereas, the newer Macs are all bezel-less designs. Also, as I mentioned, my setup would have a reduction in weight compared to your heavier 12.9" Ipad and that might reduce the applied pressure. Of course, you already have a negative connotation towards this product, but just want to see your opinion on the feasibility of this product given my setup.
I for one do not think it is not durable or sustainable because it breaks easily also it can damage your screen waist of money but I see the idea the company wanted to create. They should redesign and consider a better upgrade. 🧡🔥🚀🌋
I would definitely suggest doing this with your work computer, you do not have to pay shit if it breaks, just let your company pay for it as they should. Also, how the hell can you crack your screen without even attaching anything to the Mountie clip? Like seriously, that clip does not have enough force to do it on its own. The positive side of this ordeal is that you do not have to look at that dinosaur background anymore. protip: If you use a 6 inch+ tablet you need to use 2 or 3 Mountie PLUS clips...
This happened before even a tablet had been attached. Just putting it on my computer cracked part of the corner of the monitor, which then spread and ruined it.
