Hey! Creator of the TreeCapitator addon here! I’d like to clarify a few things regarding TreeCapitator. This addon is actually a bedrock port of my TreeCapitator datapack, which has been around for several years. I find the title of the video misleading and contradictory. Calling it a "bad clone" while stating in the video that it’s the best one is confusing and might mislead viewers who are looking for a reliable treecap addon. I understand that the price might be considered steep. However, I put a lot of effort into making this the best addon it can be. I take pride in the content I create and don't make Marketplace content just for a quick buck. I'm aware of the issues with originality in the marketplace, I've had many of my parkour maps copied by other creators. Thanks for the review and the feedback. ✌
I just want you to know, I bought your pack out of spite for Toycat's opinion. Its exactly what i've wanted but had to wait for in Bedrock. Its geniunely a life saver for such a simple feature! I'd pay more if i had to just for your pack. 310 is a perfect price, you still need the support!
I prefer the tree capitator addon because: 1. It destroys the tree in an instant 2. It destroys the leaves 3. Has no bugs 4. Has a lot of customisation 5. The price is very low for your average addon Also, I'm un-subscribing. I don't appreciate the misleading thumbnail
6:31 Chat: _An Ore Merchant has just arrived._ 6:33 Ore Merchant chilling in the background. 6:38 Few seconds later, Wandering Trader suddenly appears as well.
Toycat, please try Raiyon’s Tree Chop-Capitator from MCPEDL. It’s pretty good, when you break the log, it strips away the wood layer like in modded Java!
Call me crazy, but I would rather buy this add-on than the other utility add-ons that have more tool utilities available. The tree capitator tool is the most useful, in my opinion, and this add-on does give a lot more customization to the tree capitator utility. Also, I was worried that setting the add-on to destroy all leaves would cause the leaf blocks to not drop items, but Toycat, you eased my fear. Lol
Other features also have this. BUT it’s the fact that it’s simple. No extra un-vanilla features. Simply just for cutting trees. It SHOULD be cheaper for what it is. MORE add-ons should be simple one-off mechanics. LIKE where is a backpack mod? There’s nothing for it, could simply be a shulker reskin crafted with leather. BOOM easy.
I like quality of life add-ons. I play Realism Craft with Naturalist. Better environment and more lively animals. Sweet and simple. I dislike OP weapons and tools or overly complicated mechanics.
The thumbnail is a bit misleading, especially for people who seeks an add-on solely for treecap feature. Agreed that it's overpriced for only having one purpose and compared to the addons that has the same feature. But for its treecap quality, it's not a "bad clone" I've been using World Utilities for a long time now, specifically for its treecap as well. This new Tree Capitator add-on exceeds theirs by a LOT
Not to mention, World Utlities' treecap started to bug for some players. After the update, theirs started to treecap player-placed logs as well, which has been inconvenient
Saying that it's a "bad clone" is really misleading. Also considering that the creator of this addon is also the creator of the Java Treecapitator data pack, and this is an official bedrock port
@@TheIndigoShine I did, the video and review was very well put and made, but it also showed that the thumbnail is a bit misleading and contradicts to what was said in the video, and my comment refers to that. My point is that you can't just say in the video that "this tree-capitator addon is the best of its type", while at the same time you say in the thumbnail that it's a "bad clone"
I bought it because I only had 400 points, the others cost more. Plus the settings are nice. I have a mod that drops items from leaves, but when I chop a tree with 'break leaves' on, it doesnt drop those items. When have 'keep leaves' on they decay and drop the items from the mod.
Btw, the horror survival add on contains a tree vein miner, a vein miner, auto smelting, and many other trinkets that u can craft or buy from its 3 villagers, it's very much worth getting in my opinion
Actually, because you showed me the first addon, im buying it. Its a lot more vanilla and less... Messy and complicated as the other two and more expensive addons. Sometimes less is more, and it doesnt add unwanted items into a world you may not want to completely ruin with extra stuff like that
I have the World Utiliites add-on and with the update, there is a configuration tool you can use in creative mode (for each world, it's not global), which allows you to allow it to break leaves when chopping down the tree, so for me, a better add-on. When you factor in the updates which allow for vein mining either with fortune or silk touch, and it's the only one I use. That's just me, though.
@@toycat I'm confused by your question, however I just wanted to say that this series is important for reasons you have mentioned before. Like it lets people know what they're buying and not waste money. Anyways do whatever u wanna do tho. Edit: I get what you were saying with that question now. Personally I play on just one world so I don't need new seeds. I have watched some of ur seed videos occasionally tho
I think that it treecapitator was made because people are familiar with the name via youtubers playing java modpacks. So with add ons being bedrock mods, people will search treecapitator and it will be what shows up first since the treecapitator is only part of the other add ons. At least they have it some additional usefulness over the base treecapitator mod.
Ok, now I'm annoyed at the marketplace cause some of the Java servers I'm on already has this. But, great for players who both have money and no Java servers to play on
I highly recommend the "Essentials" addon considering you get like 10 other features but the tree is cut down regardless of size and durability. Including the fact that leaves are left so they can drop sapplings, apples, or sticks.
If you want a good Treecapitator add-on with some other features, I would suggest the Essentials add-on. It gives this, as well as numerous other nice features, such as showing chunk borders, and which ones are slime chunks
Thank you for reviewing Zombies add-on. We are grateful for your feedback and will make the suggested changes when we update. We are glad you enjoyed Zombies which is our first add-on. Please do keep an eye out for us as we have some great add-ons and maps in the making😊
I went with this one when Utilities wouldn’t allow me to keep inventory no matter what I did in Realms. Yes I know in the regular non realms how to adjust it to keep inventory but for some reason on Realms it just wasn’t working.
i have a mod for java where you cut the tree and it falls over not decent grate and does not take a lot of durability just one at a time so hopefully one comes out for bedrock it is amazing and it had the sound of a tree when it gets chopped down and falls over
I like all the addons but they need to fixe the game to stabilize the add-ons on console cause it crashes the game even with only two add-ons installed
I have a theory that Java exclusive players worry it will become obsolete. It's the biggest reason they might act like a scared animal backed into a corner and lash out. It really doesn't make sense.
buying addons is the great will it or won't it conflict with another addon or desired setting. I turned off an ore related addon because it was messing with my cheat of keep inventory, and I'm like . . well so much for the ores it provided. But that's just a thing i can toggle on in another world where I do better and die less. So guess I'm saying doing one thing well at a lower price may cost me less headache that a swiss army knife of an addon that pokes a hole in my pants.
The world utility add on tree capitator does get rid of the leaves but u have to enable that setting in the controller and the vain miner can break gravel best thing ever
This is why paid mods are immoral. There is ZERO way to quality control to check for stolen code or redundancy unless you only allow a few select partnered modders only and have a dedicated staff division specifically in-charge of reviewing mods before they go live. Which is super unreasonable. Mojang out here trying to rediscover why the invention of the wheel was made round.
that kind of addons are all total scams imo! This mechanics should be vanilla and included in the game as it would make the game more good! BUT MONEY MONEY MONEY
I knew all Add-ons will like this, to take advantage of the majority younger player base, Is it a scam? No because you're given the product as advertised but is it reasonable? I don't think so. Bedrock modding has great modding capability but ruined by profit driven minds, Modding in general is culturally understood as free for all improvement to the game such as Skyrim(before 2020gen) and Fallout4. But they are classed as "Add-ons" not mods so Microsoft idea is to create Paid DLC so watch the terminology
