If Aspyr couldn’t handle a simple port. What makes them think they can handle the KOTOR remake

i feel that shit like this is causing many people to stay away from pre ordering games. this has been happening a lot.

We should all make a petition to take away the licensing Aspyr got to make this and hand it over to the members of the battlefront community who are familiar with game development and design as they would do a way better job and gladly sell it for a more reasonable price as they are passionate about theses games and love them.

Single player sucks when they don’t play the ending cutscenes in career

I wasn’t planning on buying this right away and assumed it would be a disaster but my friend was super hyped to play it so I spent $31 on it and now we’re no longer friends

The worst part for me was the 2-3 minute matches. I would go out, try to find enemies, shoot, and I would get victory or defeat screen almost immediately every single game.

Its absolutely ridiculous how difficult it is to get a friend to join my game. Takes like 3 restart applications and 2 game crashes to work.

What a cash grab on all of our nostalgia. I swear I am agreeing with everyone at this point, battlefront seems so cursed as a franchise

You must feel pretty good to be able to play galactic conquest. I can’t even play that because I can’t turn off inverted controls. MY FAVORITE MODE RUINED all because they were too lazy to put an invert Y axis option.

Allow me to remind people, 3 campaigns, few bugs, nothing really gamebreaking 2 galactic conquests, few bugs, nothing that can't be handled 2 instant actions, still a few minor bugs All of these when on pc, easy to remote play together with a friend with no additional bugs compared to purely singleplayer 2 multiplayer instant actions, one of the smallest portions of the game that is being worked on and fixed from its fairly buggy release. Sure shouldn't have been so buggy to begin with, but will be worth when it is fixed. At least they aren't just staying silent and not doing anything about it.

Except its totally fine as a single player game

On PC, not only has there been working non-region locked multiplayer for years, but you can fully mod the game to improve appearance and to add content like the Kit Fisto and Ventress along with all the BF1 maps that the classic collection added to BF2, it's so funny how good PC players have been blessed for so long with the battlefront games.

I’m honestly so confused why this game was so bad, the tomb raider remasters have turned out really great mind you there’s no online but it was a lot of what this game was doing, facelift (tomb raiders was more extensive mind you), adding once exclusive content so it’s accessible to all versions and with some slight improvements to certain aspects of gameplay. Yes they are two different games but other than that really I would think this collection should have been fine, I don’t understand how they managed to have it backfire so badly on them. This would have been my first time actually owning the og second battlefront game and hey the switch version is considered the best version currently because it lacks the amount of issues that the other versions do. Regardless I’m really disappointed. I hope they can fix these issues because I would like to get the game but at this rate I’m only going to once the major issues are fixed.

I refunded the game and I used microsoft points it got refunded back info my account after contacting Microsoft

I really hope Saber is bought from Embracer Group, they are some of the greatest “small” development teams, they made two of the most impressive ports to the switch (The Witcher 3 and Kingdom Come Deliverance) and those are not small achievements

Im still gonna go for the Platinum trophy but yeah the first day I had an absolute blast but then I truly saw glitches of the maps and yeah I wondered why the sensitivity is awful plus in hero assault for some reason, the light side always wins. Until they fix this game I’m probably gonna reinstall the EA version and play that cause the overall gameplay is far smoother

What I don't understand, is why didn't they actually TRY to make this how people were expecting? What is there to gain in being lazy (and duplicitous....), why not put some passion into it and make it a game we all wanted to play???

I'm glad the KOTOR remake was cancelled. The devs were literally bragging about how they intended to be as disrespectful to the original as possible.

Pc bf2 classic on steam, $9.99. Live servers , multiple mods that make it look better than this collection port. Just sayin....

I feel bad for anyone who's had issue in mp, but one thing EVERY content creator never mentions is that on Switch, its perfectly fine. I've had no issues at all

My buddy bought it before me, and played 2 games, noticed he wasn't hitting shots that should hit that were going through people, then he killed himself on a invisible wall, logged and refunded that second.

This is why I can’t get excited for “new” games/movies anymore their either broken or worthless even when it’s a re done version of something I love 😞

I play on Xbox series x, and I've logged several hours in single player and multi-player in both BF1 & BF2 on the Classic Collection. I haven't experienced any bugs as far as match making and network stability. Full disclosure: servers are pretty empty. There's only about 1 server for both BF1 & BF2 with a decent population. I've never once experienced any graphical bugs such as missing textures or assets or anything like that. I have experienced some audio bugs tho, like the Mos Eisley cantina theme playing on hero assault on the death star for no reason. Then when I died there was no audio at all whatsoever. They did alter the audio for the Bf1 loading screen from the og audio. (For me that's not that much of a big deal.) I have not tried the campaign for bf2, but a lot of people are saying that many of the cut scenes are missing from the og version. I own the original battlefront games on ps2 and I've been a fan my whole life. Played the ea games as well. Take it from me; it's not as bad as many people make it out to be. Gamers are gonna find every reason to dislike something cause we absolutely love to nitpick, especially on nostalgic titles such as Battlefront. Remember; the online multi-player on the steam versions for bf2 were a mess too. My opinion? A light 5/10

It’s $35 for two games. If you’re really that upset then why don’t you stop working at McDonald’s and work a job or you can afford an actual game. I am extremely happy with the release but that’s me. I don’t use multiplayer.

I was furious about this. Contacted playstation for a refund, told them in 15 minutes had to start 3 matches that all got disconnected - not even multiplayer, it was split scren. Waited over an hour for an agent on the chat and they refused. Never again will I pre-order. This is becoming way too common.

I had a working Assault game going on Xbox. Playing Aayla I got low and a Ventress smelled blood starting to CHASE me though they caught the end of a nasty 360 lightsaber throw.

I'm glad you didn't experience countless audio glitches like I did (well, you didn't mention any in the video at least), I had mute blaster fire and horrendous background noise out of nowhere, especially in ship hangars, I couldn't enjoy the game even in Single Player. :( Also, the screen glitch after your character dies literally made me sick.

Very surprised that you didn’t mention that HALF of the Rise of the Empire cutscenes are missing from the game as of the time this video was made. The cutscenes at the end of every mission simply weren’t playing at all.

People need to know that first impressions are important and also holding companies accountable. They screwed it up.

Saber successfully left embracer a week or two ago. It also seems by the terms of the sale, they are the sole party involved with kotor remake besides Lucasfilm and Sony, obviously.

Im sorry to say this, but im enjoying this game very much (multiplayer). Im playing on the ps5 and switch. The things you are saying is old news. Everything runs much better now. And its a old game, so more difficult than modern games. No auto aim buddy. There is nothing wrong with the hit detection. 😂

I still remember what they did to the kotor 2 port. I bought it and pretty much forgot about it for like a year because I didn't wanna play with the bugs on release and also I wanted a playthrough with the cut content restored just to come back to the game and realize they appearently canceled it and didn't even offer refunds.... (and I still got duped by battlefront)

I wasn't gonna buy the game launch, especially not with ps store not having refunds, but while everyone (and I know I'm an absolute minority in that case) is focusing on MP bugs, I'm here hating Aspyr cause they've yet to adress the issues with the campain bugs. It's a good thing I have the ps2 version still workin' for me

I hope you got to enjoy the nice weather on your birthday! It's been like Summer in Washington lately I will also say that it seems very difficult on this game to link up with friends. And nothing will ever compare to the live streams that you did with battlefront 2 on the PS4 and inviting members of the community. I remember one game in particular we were on Kashyyyk at night playing as the Republic and ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED. Amazing what can happen when everyone is actually engaging in teamwork and communicating

The old battlefront games dont have enough of profit margin or fan base to warrent any serious amount of time to be dedicated to it.

Yea man 100% agree, you nailed it. I did try to refund it but PlayStation denied it. Aspyr would need to issue a formal statement that the game is faulty, but their statement fell short of actually stating that. I actually feel ripped off.

The sensitivity thing is sadly a common thing in the old games. Ive taken out my old xbox 360, the sensitivity in all games i simply painfilull

It’s really unfortunate. I convinced so many of my friends and cousins to buy the game so we could relive the moments we had back in ps2. I grew up on these games and never got the chance to play online so this was a really exciting announcement. Just for them to fumble so bad on something that you would think would be the easiest thing to get right. It’s embarrassing for me cause now I have those some friends and cousins telling me how bad the game is😭 I haven’t even tried online yet I’ve only been playing offline and I’ve been having a good time but the bugs are still there and it’s just so discouraging. I have even more appreciation for EA Battlefront 2 after this and wish we could just have one thing go right for this franchise. It’s a real shame these games can’t live up to the hype they deserve and give the fans what they deserve.

You can’t play splitscreen on the original pc port. The new one you can play mods with splitscreen and i love it!

I submitted a ticket to get a refund today, so they haven't responded back because they are hesitant to answer because I'll send one tomorrow and this time I won't be nice and I will dispute this as a false advertisement. Og Xbox SWbf1 and 2 on insignia is way more stable than this. Even my og swbf2 on my Xbox series x without multiplayer still functions perfectly.

This was my last hope of getting a third installment, but the Battleftont curse continues. At this point this game series is completely FUBAR.

They need to fix the cut scenes from the campaign. Online invite system for friends and lobbies. It's embarrassing because mods can do this on pc.

Star! Ya'll need to come over to KYBER v2. Where you can play EA's B2 with really good mods on PC. The KYBER team is working on v2 now! Hopefully, if testing goes well, KYBER v2 might be released in late May. I'm sick of these companies taking advantage of the consumer because it's Star Wars!
