Over the past 10 months since recording this we've used quite a few more Campervans from Breeze, mainly the VW Grand Californias, same model as this but even newer... Alot of my feelings still stand on this video but we've learnt quite a bit more about the vans. Still love it for a couple of weeks at a time, especially in the summer! Found it quite cramped in the winter, but all in all - not a bad van! What do you think of the Grand California!?
A big Differenzen to many motorhomes ist, that the grand California come direct Front VW. Thats a big plus in Service, you can go to almost any VW Dealer across Europe for Service, and there are thousands more AS RV Dealers. In Germany, in the year 2023, there are over 1200 grand California 600 for sale. I Just checked some for around € 60.000. Prices came down a lot this Fall. I Had a awd cal. 600 for a week, it did well for me. Saefty in the full Factory Crash tested California is one of the best in the Industrie. I Drive a new Sprinter, drove 9000 Miles since new and I'm on Recall ,# 8 so fare. It is a driving trouble spot 🙄🫣🙄
That it is an horrible caravan for 90k no space, uncomfortable, etc Compare it with the knaus boxdrive 680ME witch is the same base and the difference it is huge!
The VW Grand California is not a bad campervan, but there are a lot of things that after "living" in it for a couple of weeks would really annoy me if this was my own van. That being said, it is a fantastic van for 1 week or a long weekend, and would highly recommend renting one before you decide to buy one!! Would love to hear your thoughts on the VW Grand California!
Thanks for opinion. The moment you mentioned "Camping mode - I dont know what it does." I understood this is not a review but just a opinion flick. Could you spend like a minute studying the manual ? Not professional.
Thanks for YOUR opinion... Incoming "Unprofessional" reply. This is exactly that, my opinion on my time using these Campers. You can clearly tell I'm not a professional reviewer but simply giving my... opinion. This was nearly a year ago now and yeah and stayed in quite a few since, I'm fully aware camping mode just stops a few lights turning on - great. Could you spend like a minute just leaving a like and a sub?
@@overland-gamingThanks for the feedback. I am usually off social networks since they're always confusing. However, posting a video with "DO NOT BUY" without studying all of the components is not responsible. I am searching the market for vans, and this confused me. You might have used a clickbait method, which is why the video showed up.
@@maartyzaruba3296 Of course I can post a video offering my buying opinion on the internet after using the vans for months. If you don't want, or like my opinion, that is also okay.. I would advise you though, if you're ONLY looking for a professional opinion, go to Top Gear, or a professional dealers page or website.
Given the cost of VWs transporter “California” range, the Crafter based one’s always seemed to offer better value. That said, they seem to look a bit ungainly compared to the smaller T series vans.
totally unfair, this is one persons opinion simply dramatised up into something it's not. Don't buy one if you think it's too much money, buy something else that has all the same issues with a different badge on it, you can replace the VW here with any van our there, problem here is the person has little experience at all, ask a seasoned camper person and they'll agree, he's simply out of his depth with minimal knowledge of the product or the pass-time / hobby / way of life. @@roygardiner4002
