Fletcher is finding it hard to get a little peace and quiet in prison. Vintage porridge with Ronnie Barker. Comedy at it's best!

I have watched & loved this show for years. I Can’t begin to imagine how many times I’ve seen every episode & still find them funny & Roar with laughter. It’s just So wonderfully written & the acting is just superb. But it was only as I got older I fully understood what this episode was truly about.

Ha ha. His face when the chaplain said " aaah Fletcher". In prison, there is no chance of peace and quiet.

It's brilliant isn't it. Poor old Fletch. I'm sure we've all had days like this . I think we can all sympathise with him here. Fletcher's face when the prison chaplain disturbs him, never gets old, always has me in hysterics . 😅😅😅

ROFL you just knew after he said " if anyone else walks through that door" that someone would disturb him and annoy him. Also funny that the fact he is praying to God and the next person to disturb him is the priest. 😂😂

This is how I sometimes feel when I want some me time o the weekends and someone barges in uninvited. Especially in work when me and my colleagues gets bombarded by people who can't solve their own problems and try to get us to do it for them when we've got enough to worry about as it is. Oh, I ranted a bit there didn't I.

In most real prisons you can actually lock yourself in the cell from the inside (the officer's key overrides it), but that wouldn't make for good TV.

Never heard that when it came to prisons back in the 70s when this was made and certainly don't believe it about the prisons back in the 70s either
