If your going to test for alcohol. A Lot of water does work.i passed a drug test 35 hours after drinking a 12 pack of budweiser. Update- passed a drug test in less than 24 hours, last beer was at 6 in the afternoon. Drug test was 5:30 PM the next day. Drank about 8 16 Oz budweisers.
@TheRealAT urine or the saliva test can test for week. Trust me. I was still positive 7 days later and I was in jail. I carry a "sober link" breathalyzer and blow 5 times per day. But I have random urine screens.
@@profh9382it should be more for other serious drugs but it should also depend on the state. For example, New Jersey is a state where marijuana is legal for recreational use. I don’t believe the drug test should be issued for marijuana but should be for other drugs. Don’t forget out of all the drugs marijuana stays in your system for a while.

It’s called dilution but they check for it the best thing to do is drink a ton of water take a b12 vitamin or any vitmanins containing b vitamins , ingest a ton of creatine HCL over the next two days and a few hours before your drug test drink a Gatorade and a hydration pack in another water. And again drink a lot and a lot of water
Wish I found him sooner. I came back after my test (chugging water and going in) and thought immediately “it’s coming back as dilute” and sure enough it did lol. After just testing again, this time I didn’t drink a lot of water and just went in the morning after waking up, no chance of it being dilute. Thanks for the info Doc!
I have studied how to beat tests for over a decade. There's allot to this. Beating an instant is different than beating a lab. It's possible to beat both.

Dr. Nuesse, I don't think they always check specific gravity. I think often times they only test creatinine and pH, and then check specific gravity if either of those two are abnormal. Edit: I'm talking for non-DOT pre-employment. For DOT I have no idea.
Companies do all this and still they end up with employees that are just as crappy as the employer. Just more money and time wasted. Weed is the least of the drugs to worry about.

my urine result was negative and dilute and now my manager is probably suspicious of me... i have never done drugs in my life so obviously i am not worried about my results but i didnt realize i had to be worried about how dilute my urine is. i read "small muscle mass, being female, and exercise (when followed by increased water consumption) have been associated with lower urine creatinine levels" dude...i am a female, i am thin, and i naturally drink a lot of water during the day but especially in the morning bc i get thirsty as heck. i also love coffee...but caffeine is a diuretic. to me it just seems like there's too many factors that can cause a diluted sample and it seems like people are instantly suspicious if it is. i think that's whack.

Ive been crying for 2 days straight. They told my my first drug screening was diluted. So i skipped my birthday weekend so that i wouldn't even have alcohol before the test the next morning. Then i held my pee all night and took it first thing in the morning. Mid stream, no water, first pee... and it was STILL almost entirely translucent. Ive NEVER done drugs in my entire life. During a Radom testing FTA. If you have low output of urine during tasting. 1.5 tube. Then drink 32, 36oz of water and you still produce low out put of urine. Why couldn't the testing facility accept the 2 separate tubes being that The temperature Reading was good...?

Hey Doc, can you explain how someone who hasn't smoked marijuana since 2017 and is randomly tested weekly by their employer receives a positive test? I know for a fact that this person does not smoke and isn't in a room for long periods with people that may smoke. This is the second time a positive test has come up and their job is on the line. At this point, I believe someone in the lab is doing something shady with the person's sample.
In my opinion this wouldn’t be possible. If I came upon this situation my suspicion would be that the patient wasn’t being completely honest about their usage. One thought would be to them tested somewhere else to see what happens.

@amber duenas same here I came back negative for all drugs on a 12 panel drug test from a lab, then I went 2 days after that and took another 12 panel test this time it was a rapid and I came back positive for thc.
Im so fusterated i am in a program have had no issues for YEARs and ever since i moved to the beach i keep having trouble with my creatine levels. I used to just go right away and hold my urine but now that i moved to the beach im having to stop a couple times on the way and then drink more wster to be sure i can go. I am going to just avoid wster the whole trip this time and hope it works. So frustrating when your doing nothing wrong. I also have found creatine can be affected by health issues such as diabetes which i know im at least pre diabetic so im following up with my primary. I tried this technique but when I got to my work orientation I found out I was going to do a saliva test and started freaking out I haven’t smoke in like a month but smoked once back at uni orientation but somehow I PASSED!!! I have no idea how it wasn’t a lab test it was an instant result test.
I wish i had watched this video yesterday, i had given the urine sample yesterday my results came out today that my urine sample is diluted and my employer asked me to retake the test. Although i am clean it stresses me out so much to retake the test again
I just had this happen. I always drink a gallon a day since I work outside and workout after. Also should mention I have a shy bladder and can NOt pee on demand which is why I jug to make sure I can pee instead of sitting there for hours
Thats bullshite no court can put you in jail for a clean drug test.deluted or not. How the he'll does the court know if you are taking any kind of drugs if it doesn't test positive. People don't be fooled by this statment . there is the hippa law in effect that protects people in the courts on probation that the court can't call youR doctor or clinic without the persons permission.

Question about hair follicle test: Why do companies call the "hair test" a hair follicle test (drugs can be detected for years) when it's actually just a hair test? (drugs can be detected for 3-4 months)
@@randyedwards267 ...thanks, nobody can ever seem to answer it, however. There's a huge difference between a "hair follicle" test and the basic "hair test." I wonder if I stumped the doctor?
The sample that is typically used is very close to the scalp (the root). This is one way that the test tries to not discriminate against people with long hair (although that can still happen). This is likely the reason for the name.
I found the easiest way to pass a drug test is simply throw $500 cash at the tester and go about your merry way. I mean there shouldnt be a problem if i want to drink a 12 pack ,smoke some weed and drive my fuel truck across the state. What could possibly go wrong?

What if you TAKE all the things they are testing for...legally? Why I'M confused is....my dr died and a new doctor took over for the last 4 years. It happend to me, i drank water but not enough i gave them a small sample because i ddnt have to pee so they made me drink 2 bottles of water right then and there so my sample was super dilute but they told me to drink the bottles within 30 minutes each and they still took it that way and i passed of course cause that wasnt my issue. See here is my problem I do smoke but ever since the Vaxx & C19 I’ve been taking care of myself doing detoxes and things of that nature and cut out all types of sodas and sugary beverages but I also noticed that my Pee is clear most the time and idk if that’s because of the detox’s I do but will this effect me and my drug tests cause yes I smoke but my detox’s aren’t for smoking but clearing out the gut liver and kidneys of toxins so how do you determine pee that’s been tampered with or somebody who’s trying to just take care of there body and remove toxins from the body I also take Trace Minerals and Chlorophyll so how will this be affected ?

I am a bodybuilder I am low in body fat I go in the sauna 30-40 min a day. I exercise 5-6 days a week. I drink water and only water almost 2 gallons a day. I work a physical job. I smoked almost everyday for almost 5 years. I’ve been clean for a month I pass every dollar tree drug test but the test line is faint. Problem with me is I take creatine hcl as a supplement every single day. Should I stop taking the creatine? I live in Philadelphia but my test is in Jersey so I don’t know if that factors either. It’s for a private company not federal. I need some advice, and you seem to know the most. Remember it’s been 4 weeks and I’ve passed all the dollar tree drug tests. 3 times in a row with the test line faint. Any advice helps!
creatine helps with a drug test especially if you drink alot of water since diluted urine will have low creatine levels and seem suspicious. keep taking creatine as you have been since it won't cause anything negative to happen
So with taking a urine test and you test positive can the lab determine if you haven't been smoking I quit a couple weeks ago to get a job and I have a drug test in a few days I've been eating a lot of fiber and drinking tea and making sure I'm drinking plenty of water at first I was drinking a gallon a day now I just drink a few glasses of tea and water a day and another thing would an employer give you more time if you test positive

I took a 3 1/2 week break recently, tested, no response if it was positive or negative, then i vaped for around 5 days 2 to 3 hits a day, my job was bumped up a week and had to take another. I had a week and 5 days to work with. Pounding water each day and keeping protiens down and fasting, day of test urine was slight yellow, tested with a cheap stick, 4 days showed negative, solid but faint negative line, still waiting for results. How long usually it take to know if i am in the clear. Traveling worker here, every 3 months i have to test.
You could always just buy synthetic urine from a headshop and a hand warmer if one doesn’t come in the box and your tests have those thermal strips on the jar like “extreme fetish urine”is a brand etc etc
I had a random today failed the first one said my pee wasn’t above line. I drunk 6 bottles of water then went pee for them . Was my pee diluted enough to pass?
hey doc, i couldn’t urinate enough for my sample so they told me to wait for a while and drink water. in the hour of me being there i drank 16oz of water or less, but my urine still came out a pretty pale yellow. i am worried it will be considered dilute even though i didn’t get to the 1L/hour threshold. i’m not sure they documented that i had to try again either. thoughts?

What I hope you can tell me is this. I took a urine test at a lab 7 days after so should I be worried about a positive result? @Gabriela Sanchez that's impossible.. coke is eliminated through urine and has a consistent half life your clean in 3 to 4 days maximum and that's for the heaviest users

@@EasyDOTPhysicals I pulled out a letter from my medical records written by my primary care physician stating that I have excessive shy bladder and reccomended to get mouth swabbed if available, so now I’m just waiting to hear if my PO approves. It just sucks that I have to load up on liquids and chance a dilute, I’ve been giving clean urines for the past 3 months with a few dilutes so hopefully this helps. It’s hard when you’re actually clean with something like parutesis. All I worry about is diluted one’s tad of failing lol
Hey doc so a few days ago I went in to do a drug screening for a job I’m trying to get. I work graveyard at my current job, and my testing was at 6:30 AM (I get off work at 6 AM) so after work I went straight to do my testing. Through out the night I tried to keep hydrated just enough to provide a sample, but im pretty sure I drank too much water before the testing because my sample came out diluted (in my opinion) it wasn’t as clear as water, but not too yellow either. It was in between. And I take medications for high cholesterol and athsma. Im not sure if those medications caused me to get overly thirsty or what, but during the last couple hours of my shift I got really thirsty, but I did try to keep the water to a minimum as best I could. In your opinion, do you think I’ll have to re do my drug screening? Or do you think the sample I provided will be just good enough to not have to re take it? I am physically active, I go to the gym 5-6 days a week and keeping hydrated is a regular part of my life. I don’t do drugs at all so I know I will pass. I just don’t want to have to re take my drug test again as it will delay my hiring process
