火葬の後のお骨上げは、リレーの様に拾い上げたお骨を次の方に渡すのではなくて、お箸を使い二人一組でひとつのお骨を拾い上げて骨壺に納めます。 この時のお箸は左右で長さが少し違ったり、片方は竹製もう片方は木製というようなお箸が使われる事が多いです。 これは繰り返して欲しくない非日常であるお悔やみ事に関しては、敢えて日常的ではないこと・日常とは逆のことをするという考え方に基づいた風習なのだと思います。

公共の場で電話をしちゃいけない元々の理由は、心臓にペースメーカーを入れてる人が携帯の電波で誤動作を起こす事件が多発してたのです。今では医療技術とスマホの技術が進んでペースメーカーが誤作動を起こすことは無くなりましたが、今でも公共の場ではそういう方にご配慮願いますというアナウンスをする場合がありますね

今まで英語で難しかったけど日本語になって共感しやすくなったしリスニングの練習として見ようと思います

I am a Japanese and English learner! It was very good to learn English with this channel! I could learn how gen Z (Micchan and Yena Chan are genZ , right ?) know those rules from this channnel. I realized people may think differently even if we are in the same country. And it was good I could know that. The thing is that, we Japanese tend to do the same way as the other people around you do, so the rule is to do the same as the other people🙃

ごはんにお箸を垂直に刺すのは、あの世とこの世の橋渡し、をお箸とかけている、と学んだことがあります。ぜひ調べてみてください。

お骨はお箸で渡すというよりかは2人1組でそれぞれが箸を持って拾い上げて壺に入れるっていう感じだと思います(宗教によると思うのではっきりは言えませんが、、)

今回の動画も楽しく見させて頂きました！ お米のお供えについて、私の方で少し調べたのでここで共有させて下さい。 ご飯にお箸を垂直にさす故人へのお供えは｢枕飯｣と呼ばれていて、動画内で話題になっていた他の国もするのかどうかについては、似たような文化が台湾でも見られるらしいです。 また、お米のお供えもの(お米への信仰)の文化はどうやら仏教が伝来する以前から日本の｢神道｣の中にあったそうで、枕飯はそこがルーツになっているのではないかという意見も見られました。 日本だけでなく、国の文化は様々なものが入り交じっていながら、ルーツを探るには文献が少ないので、詳しく解き明かすのはなかなか難しいですね〜 長文失礼しました🙇🏻‍♂️ これからも動画楽しみにしてます！

Therefore, convenience stores, grocery stores also emphasize that you should not throw away the trash of products purchased at other stores and the trash of your house. So, we see people eating onigiri or snacks in front of convenience stores, because they can trow the trash there.(they bought it there)

Leaving food is rude not only to cooks, but also to farmers and those who deliver it.

In India also we generally do not leave food on the plate but not just bcoz it's disrespectful to the maker which it is but also bcoz it is considered as a sin to waste food. Also touching any food item and books with legs is considered a sin.

why it's so rude to leave something on your plate is because Japanese doesn't want to waste the lives that died for eating at first. We've been taught that we can't waste the lives and foods and we've got scolded heavily by parents or school teachers when we played with foods.

This is the best channel to post Japanese lessons 🙂😇🙂, but why can't it get so many views and likes. I'm getting mad about it!!!!!

Japanese people also eat while walking, that is done if the food is just bread and small snacks, not big food like bento or something like that.

i bet you ! to eat "Inago tsukudani" , I wanna try kaiseki restaurants , so can you post a video talking about manners and frases to use in these restaurants. Sukiya and Saizeria its easy to understand the menu, but its possible to eat in kaiseki restaurants without read kanji ??

・It’s not passing bones to the next person, but it’s putting a bone into a jar together, by two persons. ・The very reason why we don’t talk on the phone in the bus or trains is because not to mess up people’s pase-maker who has medical issues with their heart. ・For girls, they say that if you change seats or move to another place while you eat makes you get divorced in the future. At least my family believes it and I didn’t want to have that future, so I still try to not walk while I eat. Also they say that it’s bad manners. But actually, there are cases that you do walk and eat at the same time, such as when you’re at Kamakura or Harajuku where you can “Tabearuku”. Super interesting! This kind of lesson is one of the most useful to stay in Japan, coz nobody mention in public even if people feel it' rude except friends. Tip is still custom in Ryokan situation, you can give tip as "Kokoro-zuke" to a maid called Nakai-san. But nowadays even Japanese don't know that custom.

店員にチップを渡したから傷つくということは少ないと思います。 チップの慣習がないだけが1番の原因ではないでしょうか？ ただし、時と場所によってはお金を受け取ったことを怒られてしまいそうです。 賄賂のようなイメージw なるべく日本語を学習中の人でもわかりやすくを意識したら、逆にキモい文体になっちゃったw

現代の日本では、無宗教な感覚にある人が大多数の様に感じます。 特定の神を崇拝する様な信仰心を抱く宗教を信仰しているのは少数派という感覚を私は持っています。 私は無宗教ですが、家には仏壇があり、仏壇は「ご先祖様を祀る家」という感覚で。多くの日本人がそう言った感覚で仏壇を所持しているので、宗教と言う言葉で表現される事に違和感を感じました。 また、お箸の作法も、ご遺体を火葬し残った骨を骨壷におめる時、一つの骨を二人で箸を使って持ち、骨壷におさめることから、一つの食べ物を二人で(多数)で持つことは行儀が悪い行為だと教えられてきました。 また、お箸で食べ物を刺す行為もマナーが悪い行為と言われています。お箸は基本的に摘んだり、裂いたりする行為を基本的使い方としています。

チップは傷つくと言うより困ってしまうかも知れません チップを貰うと怒られますし、法律に引っかからないか心配ですし、最悪の場合挙げた人が犯罪者になってしまうこともあります。

歩きながら食べないのは、行儀が悪いから。実は昔から料亭のお世話係さんや旅館の仲居さんにチップ文化が存在します。ポチ袋に入れて、お世話になりました有り難う気持ちだけ。とか煙草代かお茶代に。と言って渡す事が多いですね。丁寧にお断りになられた時は可愛いポチ袋でしょ？貴方に似合うわ等と工夫したりもします。最近は渡される方も減りましたが外国のそれよりはるかに高額ですよ。

お箸を刺すのは、お通夜やお葬式で亡くなった方にお供えする時です。なかなか見る機会は少ないかと思います。
