NO WAY!!! YuB, I happen to be the creator of this game and I'm so glad to see you make a video on it!! I've worked on this thing for over two years and I always get thrilled when I see someone make a video on it. Some quick tips to make things easier on you: those "static blobs" are called "Rifts" and send you one level back in case you want to backtrack. To go to later levels, try and find doors with frames around them (Sometimes the exit will be different, so keep your eyes peeled!). Wisps, which are the blue puffs of smoke, will move in the direction of a door if there is one nearby. Thank you for showing support for the game and good luck with the later levels! ;)

This is insane!!!! I’ve been playing this game for a little over a year, with every achievement and over 75 hours, it makes me so happy to see a big RU-vidr play this game :) Also there is a technically easier mode which is when you press G. It allows you to see coordinates, how dangerous a level is, and more stuff that I don’t understand. Also when you beat level 8, level fun is a good way of getting to level 11 quickly since all you need are books and almond water.

Hey YuB, I've been waiting for someone to play this game, and I'm glad it's you! Some tips would include: - yes, you did handle it right - always prioritise keeping your sanity up - stay away from level fun - the static thing you ran away from was actually something you can interact with, but I wouldn't recommend it - the things that make the area darker move slower when you point the flashlight at them - if something odd happens (like how you got really tall for a second or how the walls turned gooey) it probably means you have low sanity - Crouch to avoid the moths Other than that, it's fairly straightforward, I hope you go back to this game, and in general keep up the great work YuB!

Here's the stuff you need to know - Dullers start making a wind noise when they're close. Deathmoths appear when your flashlight is on. When they make the screeching sound crouch to avoid getting hit. Boilers stand in place untill you come close to them, and then they jumpscare you and give you the Bubbling skin effect. In level fun when you hear thumping sounds getting closer and closer, look behind you. Also if you want to see the stats press g. The bubbling skin effect doesn't damage you. Only once. The other hit sounds dont do anything. The blue effect that you see sometimes, they show you where the door is. They appear near the doors.. Also theres over 30 levels, i think. The main levels are 0-9. There's negative levels too. But you can only acess them when you beat levels 0-9. If you see a black static floating blob, it's a rift. Rifts send you down a level. If you wanna get to a negative level, go to level 0 and find a rift. Then you can go in a negative level Level 0 is called "The Lobby" and Level 1 is called "Danger Zone". Level 2 is called "Pipe Dreams" and Level 5 is the hotel. Please YuB. Read this comment!!

Quick overview of the the "main nine" levels. (And a few other well known ones) Level 0 // The Lobby You know this one already. Level 1 // Habitable Zone Entities? Check. Items? Check. However, there are safe areas developed by a group named MEG (Major Explorer Group) that can also be found on plenty of other levels, along with other safezones and outposts. Level 2 // Pipe Dreams Claustrophobic halls lined with pipes and grime and other gross stuff. Level 3 // Electrical Station A gigantic electrical "station" with various machinery and entities around. Level 4 // Abandoned Office A safe haven in an eternal hell. Safe and secure, you can come here to regain your bearings. Level 5 // Terror Hotel Creepy hotel that will drain your sanity, be careful here. Level 6 // Lights Out Not much is known about this level, as it's entirely dark. Level 7 // Thalassophobia A gigantic ocean several miles deep, with a big fish that will hunt you down. Level 8 // Cave System Giant eerie cave that echoes sound a lot, making it easier for entities to hear you and easy for you to hear entities. Enigmatic Level // The End A "trap level" designed to deceive wanderers into making them think they escaped. Engimatic Level // Level ! (Run For Your Life!) A giant, distorted hospital hallway with blaring alarms. Hope you were on the track team, as you're getting chased by a horde of entities. Enigmatic Level // Level Fun C̶o̶m̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶j̶o̶i̶n̶ ̶u̶s̶!̶ ̶I̶t̶'̶s̶ ̶s̶a̶f̶e̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶=̶)̶ A dangerous level infested with intelligent entities called partygoers, which will, on contact, turn you into another partygoer.

Yub actually handled the smiler exactly how your supposed to in-game (15:57 Also, this was a partygoer)

I feel like yub needs to be appreciated more. He is both single-handedly being a father and running a RU-vid channel at the same time. He needs more credit than he gets

This kinda reminds me of that old PC screensaver where it's a first person view going through corridor after corridor and occasionally coming across a scary mouse.

Note: avoid level fun at all costs, those laughing things are called party goers, if you go there, might as well give up

14:14 yes i think you did it. according to the backrooms wiki, it says, "Smilers are attracted to light, similar to Death Moths, and will chase after anything remotely bright, lunging at any source of light they see (Turning on a flashlight in front of a Smiler will have the Smiler lunge at you). ... sudden noises or motion (from panicking or retreating), will make them highly aggressive." so yeah, you basically did it- making eye contact WITHOUT BLINKING while backing away is the best thing to do. i have spent too much time reading about Level 9223372036854775807... also yeah that thing that flew to you was a female death moth they can spit acid at you so you should of put out the light (since they're attracted to light, like regular moths)
