Very sad that monster school has devolved into... that. Used to be so fun, and I remember I'd search it up for fun, to see what was new. Then soon after fresh fun stuff stopped coming through, and I stopped searching for it (probably around 2015-2016 or so), it just devolved. Truly shameful. If I had access to an animation software and knew how to animate, I would love to make monster animations like from the old days honestly.

Forager is actually a really fun game. I have it on switch. Haven't played in a while but I definitely recommend it

I'm apparently too late for this. However, in the process of "not" looking. I found that if you filter the search results to Minecraft, you get some really interesting results. Lots of interesting results.

The funny thing is, usually when someone says not to search something, most people immediately search it out of curiosity.

I should mention that monster school back when it started was funny as hell. It started out from 1 RU-vidr who did them, then someone else decided to make sort of…a sequel series/expanded version of it. Then it died out. Then it came back a few years ago and it’s just been getting more… ‘Riskeh’ to put it unbelievably ungodly lightly.

Ever since the original creator stopped making monster school animations, it slowly devolved into... this. The only good modern monster school video lately comes from Alan Becker's AvM series.

Fortunately I live in Poland where we have a TV series "Komisarz Alex" ("Commissioner Alex") about a police dog, so when I search for "Alex" the first thing I get are cute pictures of a German Shepherd.

Forager is a great game actually, like its AWESOME but sadly had some internal problems with the devs so it stopped development. BUT They are planning to release some stuff soon!! Im super happy :D Would recommend anyone and everyone to play it at least once.

For anyone wondering about the search analytics for "alex", it had a huge spike around when phoenix uploaded this, averaging ≈20 searches, and skyrocketed to 86 after the post. Literally 0 to 86, and it reached 100 around thirty minutes later. Three hours before that, the highest it got was 58.

i like how their thumbnails have been going that way for such a long time, pretty sure i sent my friends a very weird thumbnail a few months ago, its funny how youtube would ban channels for swearing and yet just ignore videos with thumbnails like this i wonder what's the actual content of those videos but im too afraid to actually watch one

I remember a time when whenever I search "minecraft", all the images are... suggestive. It's crazy, the amount of suggestive content regarding minecraft is so huge that a simple google search shows this kind of stuff. A very serious problem for a kids game tbh.

Well, when I searched Alex - Google brought out images of a german shepherd named Alex. I'm not surprised. I'm from Poland. There was a series name 'Komisarz Alex' about a police dog called Alex. So the search returns all kind of frames from that series

Whenever I play Stardew and I see Leah I just refer to her as Alex. There's an Alex in Stardew Valley, but he's really Brock.

Monster school animation was genuinely fun years ago when it was just mobs doing obstacle courses and stuff, but sadly that is no more. I once looked it up to see if I could find some nostalgia and instantly wanted to escape the hellscape I had just entered.

I remember when Monster School was a nice little series that would show you features of the game, like Brewing potions, showing Spiders can climb walls and endermen teleport, it's basic stuff but way back in the day it was almost mind blowing to learn Minecraft had potions, finally getting an explanation on why Spiders and Endermen always got inside my walls

A small bit of background (as I know it) there was a Minecraft Based Visual Novel way back around 2012-2013 as well as a Minecraft Mod that allows you to talk to mobs (idk which came first but its assumed the Mod as the Visual Novel uses the images from the Mod) and whenever you talk to mobs they don't look like themselves but, like the image implies, a form of Anime Girl and the whole point of the mod (as I know, again I'm going off memory and not the full picture/story) was to essentially have a relationship with the mobs around you sort of as if they were people. As far as I know it faded out for a bit until Merryweather sort of made it pick back up steam by using the designs of Mod for his If Minecraft was Anime Series (Again this is just how I know it, if I got anything wrong whatever feel free to correct me. I'm just trying to shed some light on the situation since obviously not everyone knows, including Phoenix by the sounds of it)

Forager is a really fun and awesome little game. Highly recomended to play.

It surprisingly took me a while to notice. I honestly couldn't tell, even when you obviously covered the images up... But now that I've seen, all I can say is that Steve and Alex make a good team.

1:02 I just bought Forager 3 days ago, since it was on sale. Have put 13 hours into it so far, it's so fun and interesting and finding some lil exploits have been fun. It's a really cute game that is super casual, but you can make some intricate set ups for maximising resources :)

I remember 12 or 13 year old me found monster school from the era before it became so... that. I went to see the channel, and immediately learned the simple "Minecraft mobs go to school" premise died a long time ago.

I did search it up on Google Image. As I live in Poland I got caught off the guard because the entire Google Image page consists of 2 main characters (or rather a character and a German shepherd) from a pretty popular Polish TV show called "Komisarz Alex" ('Commisioner Alex' in English). Soo, yeah. Dodged a bullet there.

This made me laugh so much 😂

I miss the older monster school... It was all not suspicous, wasn't cringe, and best of all, Funny.

Gonna be honest, I did the search, and scrolled a bit. And I'm mostly just impressed with some of the awesome fanart. Sure, there were some pieces that even I would rather not have seen. But that's the risk you take by being in the pressence of a device with an internet connection.
