Hey Omniarch, I feel like there is something overlooked by the community. If you have her as primary, her 3rd skill healing won't trigger damage, and if she is secondary, then it also won't the first skill cycle. Her third skill states that she will heal when an active skill is used, but the 3 second cooldown means that as a secondary, she won't have cast her skill yet. This is probably why her as secondary is not preforming as well and won't in openfield situations. If I have gotten this interpretation wrong, please let me know! Love the videos, keep it up!
I feel that the "worse" trades are misunderstood.. basically, thanks to mighty healing you can sustain longer in the field, that means yes, you will have a higher number of severely wounded troops, but you also fight in the field for a lot longer.. so you get more KP and lose less time, because you don't have to go back to your city to refresh troops.. so in the end, you have the same trades just in one fight instead of two/three and you also save time and can fight longer.. and it also means co-governors can fight longer too, due to her mighty healing and that can effectively win the fight..
wrong, damage dealt reduces significantly as you loose troops. so you may be dealing negligible damage while feeding more sevs to enemy. That is why some experienced players will advice you refresh your march once it turns yellow.
@@kelvin10izationthis applies to any march though, not just shajar or healing commanders, and the same logic applies to healing itself, when your low you also heal less so your not going to be “feeding”, so no, the OP was not wrong
There are other commanders to play with . The purpose of the game is not about doing everything for lilith's benefit , playing at your own pace is the whole point of leisurely activity @@soulstart89
Like another poster mentioned...Shajar will last longer on the battlefield , resulting in more sev wounds...but thats basically equal to 2 fights worth of sev wounds . You dont have to go back ,refresh and take sev wounds again like with other commanders . Saves time, plus you have a better chance of winning the fight . Richard does not do enough damage or support other troops to justify his sev wounds. Also, zhuge and shajar have 65% health which means less sev wounds overall .

Omniarch, I had a budget of 200 dollars and with your tutorials I controlled what I bought and what commanders to invest in. You showed me Nevsky, Scipio prime, Joan of arc, Boudicca prime, qu bing, and prime Herman. I know that’s a lot, but what I’m saying is you helped me alot and helped me reach 10m power. Thank you
I use her secondary, Shajar is great, I am calvary main, I've paired her with Nevsky, Zhuge, and Scipio prime. Great on open field. I also already added her to my sunset. Also, the items in KVKs that change troop type works great on her
I think alot of people are over looking the fact that this commander, even at 1111 outperforms Richard for barb chaining and sustain, so if you want another chaining march its totally fine to take this commander to 5/1/1/1, however because I chain every day and grind a high volume of barbs, I was able to justify max spinning the wheel+ investing 122 sculptures for 5511 for the march speed quality of life for chaining and the big sustain. the extra efficient in march speed+tankiness will pay for itself in the super long run, also the added bonus of having 3 sustaing barb chain marches instead of 2
Archer main here. Currently using Zhuge/Herman, Ashur/Boudica (don't have Henry or Nebu sadly) and finally Shajar/YSG. Reason being I needed another primary and so far, her nuke as primary seems superior than whatever she does in secondary. Other commander's healing skills don't affect her true damage as well, which is disappointing and... Incomplete. She is also supposed to ignore defense yet all results show that she has to trade bad to benefit others.... Which is odd. It's more than obvious that she needs a more viable pair to be good secondary. That or you're super skilled and she is never targeted. Of course in the future when she has synergy with another commander, she might be more viable, but as for now, wouldn't recommend her unless third march in most cases or if you need a primary. Also, Zhuge/Shajar are immortal at chaining, so at least there's that 😂.
She's actually very good. People complaining now that the damage from healing is not enough are testing her without equipment and specially without the circle formation armaments. If you look into the inscriptions you can get with the circle formation, she's going to be a monster and Boudicca is definitely her best primary. The amount of value Boudicca/Shajar give to the other meta marches around them are just insane. If people keep testing her in a vacuum they'll never figure out.
I’m very curious to see how she works with CY. Looks like he turns her into 5 target aoe. That’s back to back 5 aoe hits plus her healing other armies also triggers the aoe and she heals 3 targets. Unless there’s a cooldown they should be popping aoe’s the whole time. Granted the aoe is 80% if the heal strength and the heals aren’t very high but should be really strong.
Shajar is on par with like 4 other commanders that are in the 2nd archer march range, which makes her very skipable if you already have 2 archer marches set but likely the meta for new players working on their 2nd archer march.
I think I’m gonna wait for the Cheong test results. I plan to unlock him. That’ll determine whether I even summon Shajar. Right now I run Zhuge/Boudica & Hermann/Amani Which works. I have Ashur 5311 I think Ramesses is maxed but he’s too old 1150 universals So Cheong seems like the priority here. If he’s good in open field or at least better than Ashur I max him. Then depending on how he pairs with Shajar. If its not better than any Ashur pairing. I just finish Ashur Shajar would either be a long term project where I just spin the wheel for every couple weeks.
This game isn’t designed for fun, it’s designed to suck ever last penny out of your pocket and continue to move the bars so you never really get to where you want to be as a player.
omni i gotta say you were totally wrong about shajar . shes AMAZING in open field mainly due to her debuff , shes able to bring troops basically to a full stop and anyone who gets hit by her primary is basically dead unless she gets caught out of position or has to retreat for whatever reason . her healing is just a bonus really but she really shines in making the enemy unable to run away while your allies hammer them down with aoe damage .
Im grateful for your commander reviews and your explanations because it has me thinking that even though these commanders for generation 9 are meh it gives the other 50% of that can’t spend $50k on a game time to catch up to the best of the best and actually will maintain long term interest in the game for newer players. I’ve been here 2 1/2 years and I’ve seen the game drop in activity myself so I’m actually kind of excited to see what changes they bring to bring old players back and new players coming as someone who hated ALL mobile games this game has become so important to me because of the gameplay the complexity and most importantly the community. ❤
@@skoshow8418 look at the kit. It is insane. Also she free up Ysg and Nebu so you can use them as support skills or artifacts. I am likely going into Orleans next pop so I need those Ysg and Nebu 4th. The mighty healing on third is gonna win murderballs if everybody in your kd get it
I will be doing a Shajar YSG duo because I cannot get ashur in my KD. And I want a second archer march AND Archer equipment seems easier for me to get.
At 1222 she pops through Karuak with Boudica primary. 25 levels without returning The average march speed of a cav march is about 350 mph almost 600kph A bit too fast but its a game
Bro don’t forget she need full capacity and huge amount of attack to see her real performance I think all tests we saw to this moment don’t reflect anything cuz 99.999% of them are without equipment or kvk research🤷🏻♂️

I may not play this game anymore, but I still follow it because I still think it’s a cool game I tried to jump back in about a year and a half ago and just too many things and I wasn’t gonna spend more on it.

I have been pairing my Zhuge Liang with Boudica P or YSG depending on the field conditions, and postponed working on Hermann P all this time. I have enough sculptures to expertise Herman or any commander, been postponing Hermann last couple of months since Shajar's news came up. Suggestions: Should I work on Herman in October 2024 or just wait for new commanders. I run 2 Cav, 2 Infantry, 1 Archer.

Same setup. For now I'm playing zhuge and 5511 Herman , and waiting to see more tests of Shajar. Or you can invest in Shajar and collect gold heads in case the next one is better. The next archers will be 10-11 months away

I do agree now that these 9th gen commanders are kinda mid. But I think the devs are doing this for Osiris. All of the 9th gen commanders seem to be relevant to Osiris games, and I’m wondering if the game is pushing this to make the gameplay and strategies of Osiris be more strategy oriented, rather than power oriented.
i got zuhgue liang and nebu, i wanted to get shajar because nebu is slightly underperforming for me, should i replace him with shajar? or should i keep nebu 😅
to keep in mind though, i’m only 15 million power, and commanders isn’t a big goal, i just enjoy getting a nice commander pair time to time, so far i have a good pair for infantry and cavalry, this is why im thinking about investing in shajar
Pretty sure im skipping her. I have skipped all commanders of this generation so far. Was really excited for William Wallace but I already have Alex so why not save? Same here, she isnt going to replace Zhuge or Herman so why spend?
I main archers and i think ima skip her because i low spender i use nebu, bodica and zhuge, herman already and i not ch 25 yet so ima pass also i low spender/ftp and ill prob eventually get her anyways
Here is my perspective. I like how they made Hermann with a skill damage synergy that boosts skill damage taken because at the time we had more skill damage comms. I appreciate how they tried recreating it but with shajar a normal damage bonus. It would be been nice on a Normal skill damage archer. Her having 3/4 skills being healing will make her a walking sev wound machine. I also like her tanky perspective but it would’ve been nice on another comm as i said. Also i wish they did mighty shields instead of mighty heal because one has a side effect and the other doesnt. Imagine a mighty shield 2k and 80% of that as true damage. Most people would actually view her as a tanky archer.
No one should be planning to use Shajar in field until Choe testing happens. That's her only pairing right now until probably next archer release, unless a surprise leadership field commander comes out. And since Choe is Mge, most should be skipping unless they're archer mains, AOO mains, serious AOE barb chainers, or canyon mains (apparently canyon mains are a thing).
Skip, skip, skip. Although I want to use Sajar to Sunset Canyon and play Olympia. But it's better to wait until the new Cava. 🤣❤🎉(afraid of wasting Sculptures)
Lilith just introduces Delta formation which to boost combo attack, I expect the upcoming cav commander will be based on this mechanic so don't put your hope at high because I don't see them bumping up the power level. They just wanna make commanders more versatile.
