Thank you. I don’t think people realize just how much the X-men hold back when fighting humans or around civilians. Scott could harm anyone in his line of sight. Storm can’t just pop off like episode 1 in a confined space where she could hurt her own team mates. Gambit could blow up a city block by touching the ground. Wolverine…. Well, never mind on him 😅. He don’t gaf lol
Stop the cap!! He just got worked along with the others. If he never used his optic blast you might have a point but he did! When he was jumpin outta planes with no parachute it was all good. No excuses!
@@Enter_Zonelessit was smart... But IG no one really points out how Scott pretty much couldn't do much in that said fight... Maybe if he shot 1st while he was distracted, but that's really like his own miscalculation there, so saying he got rocked just for being an incapable fighter than saying he just didn't take the initiative is objectively wrong.
Magneto had such the best lines. The man knows how to preach. I trust him in this role. He wants what’s best for mutants, he just doesn’t have faith in humanity. However, he’d do anything for Xavier and without Xavier to debate anymore, he will do it to honor him. My biggest worry is Magneto slipping up, especially if he truly gets upset. But after holding it together through what X-cutioner did, my worries are largely allayed.
They are setting up *so many* X-Men storylines from the comics in this. The original cartoon always liked to do comic plot lines in miniature, but they never put these many irons in the fire at once.
Professor X absolutely knew what he was doing, leaving Magneto the X-men. This man thought, "If im dead, im leaving everything in my asshole brothers' hands, guilt tripping him from beyond the grave to be better, and i know he'll do a good job." These 2 have the best relationship between a "hero" and "villain" out of every superhero story.
In the comics, Rogue and Magento were kind of an item. Was a bit surprised that they actually put that element in the show. What they did to Storm made me both saddened and angry. I almost broke down when she was crying and you can see the anguish and hurt on her face when she left. Magneto was also not playing in this episode too. You see him crying for Storm, which is very rare for him. I also like that he's legit showing them that he's not the same person as he was before. At any other time, he would had just killed them without a second thought and I honestly wouldn't blame him. But Magneto is showing that he's actually trying to be better and I love the line he said. "Please... don't make me let you let you down." The speech reminded me alot of Days of Future Past but the message here was different. Looking forward to see y'all reaction to the next episode. That's where things get really wild and interesting!
OMG I love that statement... I'm above you, and yet I am trying to walk with y'all. That is a PERFECT explanation!!! Magneto is sooo dope. This episode is bomb!!!
Great video and one thing i like about your reactions is that you guys funny and open minded plus i am happy that disney actually is going a good job with the show.
Storm could take Jean and Scott place. She is an Omega level mutant and she is a Princess of kenya and she can fight! I would like to see a Kenya and Half Black American in charge too.!
Magneto? Nah, Barneto. Imagine if Magneto was called Lagneto and his power was to give people and things irl lag. Storm losing her powers could've been prevented by her either making a gust of wind that was aimed at him so he would miss or if she just struck him with lightning. Also if I was Magneto I would've let them down, but stayed up there to unalive him in order to prevent him being a future enemy.
Having Magneto lead the team is giving me flashbacks to the X-men Alpha comics where Magneto leades the X-men after Xavier's death. Imn the comic Magneto & Rouge are married and have a child. Jean and Wolverine are a couple; Wolverine is missing his left hand after stabbing out Cyclops left eye. And Cyclops is working for Apocalypse.
As soon as I seen the trailer for X-men 97 and knew Jean was pregnant I was waiting to see if it was a boy or girl. Knowing that in the comics the child that Jean & Cyclops have in the comics Cable is from Scott Summers and a Clone of Jean.
my guesses to the Jean at the door..... 1. Alternate timeline Jean 2. Clone 3. Original Jean and the one Scott married is a clone 4. Mystique or another shape shifter. hoping for alternate timeline though
I think my favorite part is the X-Cutioner complaining about whining. That's always been a red flag for me that someone is fascist scum. Anything revealing a problem is considered whining. People are expected to shut up and take it. No thanks.
