I think it's the opposite, the standard s rank W-engines are great on almost every character that can equip them, of course theyre the best on their respective characters, but I wouldn't mind using graces engine on piper. Or nekomatas engine on corin or even koledas engine on lycaon

@@AdrianGarcia-kx8er I'm just coping cause I've pulled Neko's n Rina's signatures within 50 pulls and my Piper/Soldier 11/Lucy team barely if at all gains any benefit from them. Neko's sig is complete ass aside from the crit rate sub and Rina's sig buff cannot be activated by Lucy's pigs

That's a hard one. It's an apples and oranges comparison imo, since ZZZ is a more immersive experience. But Aether Gazer probably, because I prefer the style of combat (mechanics AND stages -- they're always short and sweet) and it's less work to keep up with overall. ZZZ is definitely the higher production value game, but stages kind of drag. It's partly because of that TV minigame and partly because combat is quite reactive (especially against stronger enemies). It generally relies on parrying / building up stun to get the opportunity to do real damage, instead of just unleashing powerful attacks straight off the bat like AG. I also don't like that parrying switches characters, so you're constantly swapping out of whoever you'd rather use. It's not bad by any stretch but yeah, those things kind of drag the game down for me personally. I don't like how you're always solving puzzles or on the back foot. I'd probably enjoy it more if it was puzzle free or if your skills just dealt damage directly like most games.
