Here is a secret they dont want you to know! Put detergent wash on the bottom of them i recommend baby detergent wash so you dont get bad chemicals in them and ruin the rubber!
Baby oil will also ruin your shoes in long term I used to do these and my Kobe's got killed after a year and 5 months it lost its grip and I've been putting detergent in the bottom and my shoes haven't lost no grip since I bought my shoes 3 years ago so use detergent over baby oil@@jake-ru7kx
And if you don’t want to buy baby detergent (usually $15-20) and mix it with water and scrub them with a toothbrush…. Grip Spritz exists to give your shoes actual grip, without the harmful chemicals, that lasts every game for the whole season, for less than $15
@@gripspritzpov your trying to make it big online because your mother said “get a real job” so you do this and sell a super expensive scam online on RU-vid HAHAHAHAHAHA.
@@gripspritz nah bruh i used to play on a community gym so people who use the gym have to use the broom but of course nobody wants to do it so I didn’t have any grips spray so I just use water and let me play for a good three hours before I use it again
As I see your brand, it looks like grip spritz gets more like a spray for training or or you’re playing extremely hard so honestly, I would recommend grip spritz for workout purposes or you wanna play Basketball for a long time
@@modernpotato5691 Have you ever heard of bald tires? Those treads are on the soles of your shoes for a reason. This is worse than using hand sanitizer, do not do this!
Like just, lay coke on the ground, ir works best if you have something based of sugar, in brazil we have a drink called "caldo de cana" with is made by extracting the sugar from sugar cane, in my times we spill a bit on the floor, stepped on it and then dry the shoes... Works like a charm, coke works less but its also possible
Yeah because acetone and Butanone is better, its very flammable. When inhaled you should contact poison control and if exposed to the skin wash off immediately. But I'm sure the coach's aren't sharing this info with the kids who use it and rub their shoes and then use there hands to cover a cough and expose themselves to the chemicals inside.
@@gripspritz the spray lasted like 10 minutes max for me xro but i cant find anything better, id apprcieate if u could tell me how 2 make it last longer xro
Get hair gel and water it will last you a whole day me and my teammates did it are coach was mad because he lost his bet my whole team did it for a tournament
We used to take a rag and damp it with bleach before our games, worked like a charm. I don’t remember if the bottoms lost color or not but probably not because I was on the bench and we used very little.
It’s mostly not the shoes if the shoes still have rubber in them than they’re good. Use your shoes for indoor outdoor any shoe will be killed in a few hooping days. But indoor if the floor is old and dusty. The owners just need to wax the floor and everything will be good
Unfortunately no one is going to clean the court as regularly or as often as needed. So yes, it is normally the court, not just the shoes, but this still fixes that.
@@Tuckandtroll It’s not, we spent a lot of time ensuring it would not harm the soles, rubber or foam. Obviously, since it’s specifically for basketball shoes, unlike baby wipes, we had to make sure of that.
@@gripspritz what chemicals should i look out for? i just got my first pair of ACTUAL basketball shoes,(trae unlimiteds) but idk any methods for cleaning them. i dont wanna break down the grippers i just bought dawg 🤣
@@ThenSomeFriends Any form of alcohol is the worst for rubber. Anything with scents (laundry detergents or fabric softeners). Then adhesives, sticky shoes just pick up more dust!
Water is a safer fix than hand sanitizer but it won’t do much after a few possessions if the court is dusty. Grip Spritz will work all game, even on a dusty court!
Sounds really sticky at first to pick up all that dusty. Then really slippery once it dries and all the tread on the soles of the shoes is filled it and it’s just a flat dusty surface
