BRILLIANT !!! True recycling - dead washing machine doesn’t go into landfill PLUS cider mill (?) isn’t bought new using up our dwindling resources. First class, Sir !!!
If someone is wondering what is it for, it is for slicing fruits to make liqueur. Fruits need to be sliced for better fermentation process. Great video as always!
What I love about this project is RECYCLE and your art doing so fast. Using the motor, the washing machine case, barrel, tin box Outstanding and you applied Safety measures. Desde Puerto Rico
The stickers really impressed me...no seriously, this guy is a very skilled all round metal worker...ingenious. I Learned a lot of tips for other projects.
Absolutely brilliant. I thought as you started it and it was taking shape it was going to be a wood chipper . I was surprised when you dropped the apples in . Really enjoyed the build thank you .
@@lawrenceschlipp5877 Very creative, farmers' in eastern european countries, LIVE ALOT DIFFERENT, THAN NORTH AMERICAN spoiled city people ! Lifestyles, needs of the farmers' there , are A L O T DIFFERENT, than farmers in north america. Sliced apples, probly to feed pigs, or chickens/turkeys/ lamas, etc....SURVIVAL with '' make do - with whats laying around the yard/shop/garage.......junk pile. ( dad and grandpa, had two on the farm.....)
The best thing I've ever done to my front load washer was to swap out the main bearings with "roller bearings", like the kind in a typical car axle. This made the until run amazingly well, and I haven't had to replace the bearings again! The factory ball bearings are crap, and not intended for axial loading to begin with... A roller bearing, however, is meant for axial loading. Axial loads are created because the drum is hung out on a lever arm, just like a car tire. The unit runs like a charm, and I don't have to worry about having to replace the bearings again for a long time... The bearings were a bit more expensive, but worth it for the amount of time I save replacing the old crappy factory bearing every 3-5 years...
At first i thought wood chipper and thought the metal blades were way to thin and would bend from the wood. Awesome workmanship. Very talented and great creativity. I give it five stars *******
Me too and admittely I was a little underwhelmed it turned out to be a giant food processor I think. But then again if you happen to live on land with a lot of apple trees it would be very beneficial.
Fantastico…. 😀
I suppose 3K of dislike come from folks who are either jealous or not prone to work. Respect to this innovative work done. Turning junk into fully functional machine is to be commended and not disliked. This could be a life saver to many.
I suspect it's more like. "Why?" Life saving? Apples are perfectly consumable whole. I thought it was going to be something useful, like a leaf mulcher.
Hey master and bravo !!! I am from Thessalonikh-Greece, thanks you for your time and awesom Video you are a manufactured article !!! Again Bravo, thanks for sharing with us.
When a person is used to working with tools and knows how to use them, he turns work into an art and can also make money doing what he likes good job man tanks to share with us
Very good idea to make something which was going to be waste. Excellent skill and work ethics. Hard work and good result, surprise for end use for many of us.
...good. i use them, after stripping al l guts out, as a workbench, in the garage. One, has the drum in it;. .....store rags, oily/gasey, etc. oh, and a broken mini-fridge, to store welding rods, to keep moisture out of them. Top load washers, stripped but with the drum in it, are also good for oil changes, on lawnmowers........creativity NEVER ENDS....
I love the chop saw idea and never seen one with a built in spark arrestor before, that's a great idea. And the homemade circle Marker idea was gold so simple.
What a great project. Very good and it can be used for all kinds of fruits. The start of good craft brewing industry. I can't wait for the fruit press.
Oh, it's for apples! I thought it was to chip tree branches, and I was wondering how the back of the washing machine drum would be strong enough to chip branches!
Agreed. The man can build shit, no doubt. He’s good. I wish I had a fraction of his skill. But.... the final use for that particular build but a little disappointing to me. Sorry to say
@@thereeljahjah Well, let me explain, in this part of the world, this apple/pear (and other fruit) cutting machine is more important than branch cutter. This is the way of preparing fruit for destilation into moonshine (not cider) and it's tradition around here. We make our shine out of delicious fruit and it smells like it, not some barley and corn tastless whiskey.
You ave great talent, skills and work ethics all you need now is CNC plasma cutter to avoid having to make all your intricate cuts with the rotary grinder. If I win the lottery I will be sending you one.
I was wondering if it was going to be a wood chopper or a leaf mulcher. I want your thoughts or others how to make it into a leaf mulcher. I am wondering if you would create a different type of cutting blade to add to the modification. My plans are to incorporate a leaf mulcher into a composting system. I love you converting an old appliance into a useful productive tool.
