You’re Ayakas aren’t screwed!! Remember how I said in the video that you can change their sub command (job) and this will stop some of the abilities from being there? Switch her ass to Time Mage and you’ll be fine till the QoL of them turning the abilities off comes!

Great video as always man very helpful and something i was looking for bravo. Also i don't know if you found it but if you press the + for energy there is an option that you can watch video and get energy. I just saw it and thought to tell you.

The AI in this game is downright stupid. Period. Going all around the way to reach enemy when you can go straight, mage act like melee, standing like stupid in front enemy after attacking,attacking blank spaces.

on JP version they give an option to turn off certain skill on auto... so I think its fine if someone messed up, global will surely got that update too

Hey Claic! Thanks for the video! That totally makes sense! I've for sure seen some lame abilities being used with auto battle. My Englebert basically buffs himself every turn until he finally gets close to enemies.. I also turned off the green mage job from Mediena because she was casting the bar skills, which are so pointless for the most point. It also doesn't give access to her higher tier mage skills if you have a sublcass? Super weird how this all works. haha

Vow of Love on a unit will make Fina Target them with cheer so you can auto boost a specific units faith! Just tested, what a great little piece of info.

The only character I see being iffy about is Fina, because cheer is a great move. The higher faith from the buff makes magic damage and healing stronger, also increases the amount you can be healed by. Other than that, I probably wouldn't unlock these skills anyway. Ayaka doesn't need protect if Fina will cast a skill that gives faith, protect, attack, and magic up. I just have to remember to fully pay attention to the boards now

Hey anyone know how 2 equip other skills? I have moves unlocked but cant use them in battle

I have a doubt: i'm using Yiza as my monk, its lvl 46 and monk job lvl 7 or 8. I unlocked some abilities that i cant use like "terra cut" or something like that (i play in spanish). But with Machernie Hourne i can use that ability and she has the monk as 2nd job. Why is that? With Mont Leonis i have the same problem in the lord job.

I already learned Protect and Shell on Ayaka, and on some maps, she'll stand in the back casting them on herself while units way up front die off. It's very frustrating that she will do that instead of moving up until it's too late. I find myself sometimes stopping auto just to get her closer to the action so that she'll be able to heal when necessary.

What's the max level for abilities? I haven't been able find any info

I have a tip for everyone unrelated to this vid. EXP and JP is not shared (split) to the party. Dead or Alive they all get the same EXP or JP(excluding crystals). Always take a full team.

I just started playing this. Is there a way to turn off auto battle as a default? I'd much rather it defaulted to manual control and I could hit auto if I wanted.

But i have ADD and if I don't unluck something it bothers me :(

Does anyone understand the chain/element missions? I chained with 2 attack types/elements, but it still doesnt get completed.

My first healer (a cleric) had a light resistance buff that is almost completely useless when I added her to the party for her cure and banish spells. I wish I could disable that buff. I had to fix it by switching to Fina as my party healer.

Welp, already learned all of Ayaka's "uhhhh maybe don't learn these" skills...

Found out that you can remove abilities in the character menu. Go to your character, click abilities, go to ability set and you can remove the ability. Haven’t tested if this will work. Check it out and let us know if it do make a difference. Thanks

My problem with Fina too, she freaking Cheer everyone, and when Mont got 3 chained by alcryst chamber elementals she doesn't have enough TP. I'm gonna subbing her into Gunner when i get it.

Mentioning that you can switch jobs off made me dizzy. There are too many damn things in this game for me to keep track of.

I hope we can get an activate/deactivate button for abilities in the future.

I wish there was a setting like in other games where you could tell the AI not to use ultimate abilities because my mediena uses her ultimate on turn one then has to go punch somebody to get ap to use her other skills

yeah pretty much too late, but I think you can help your AI by putting more points into a skill to try to force it more, like my timemage doesn't do immobolize after i up'd haste up to level 5 since i saw getting immobilize on timemage = i'm going to cast this over and over.

I hope the devs can update to choose what skills that we use on auto battle. Spamming immobilize is so annoying. Or someone has some tricks to fix it?

Man... I usually go for Arena battles with Mont, Engelbert and Ayaka. Engelbert is good, because he tanks a lot and has a pretty good damage. However, he's very slow. So... sometimes, Mont kept on battling the opponents while Engelbert couldn't join fast enough to help. So... I decided to try going with Mont, Ayaka and Macherie. What I thought that would happen: Ayaka and Macherie would both follow Mont, to buff and heal him, while Macherie would maybe cast some damage skills on the enemies. Macherie has a bunch of melee skills herself, so I thought her AI would make her advance a bit. What really happened: Mont went solo against the whole enemy team, while Ayaka and Macherie both stayed the whole time as far as possible from all enemies and Mont, each one buffing the other one indefinetely. Macherie cast Light Veil on Ayaka. Ayaka cast Protect on Macherie. Macherie cast Dark Veil on Ayaka. Ayaka cast Shell on Macherie. Macherie cast Light Veil on herself. Ayaka cast Protect on herself... meanwhile, Mont could really use some help trying to solo the enemy team. Maybe Light and Dark Veil should also be on this list of skills to avoid for Macherie. Hahahaha!

The other option I guess would be the get those abilities but leave them at level 1? Then level up your other abilities so that the AI would presumably use the abilities that are inherently more powerful because they were leveled up. Just my assumption.

Claic i love the fact that little by little you have worked on getting a better camera, and microphone. Now you introduced lighting. Get a diffuser and it will make that highlight soft, just remember to keep it close to you. I love your content thanks for being loyal to this community. I don't understand why they can't implement either 1)The option to set auto-battle to remember what actions you took in a winning battle and be able to "set" that as the auto routine. Many games have this. or 2)Toggle on/off options for abilities to be used in auto battle. I want to like this game, but it's got some serious QoL changes that need to be made. Such as how you said in another video, a dialogue should come up and ask to unequip an item if you were trying to use it to upgrade, etc.

Well this information was actually not needed anynore don't about before but now you can actually turn skills off for auto.
