Anyone reading this,I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about, gets better.may the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind.may it be replaced by light and happiness.
For me it's the same. I hate the thought of beeing there and I'm scared about the ones crawling in there, but I also know that there would probably be no footage, if they get really stuck. So that kinda helps me :)
😆. The first time I watched extreme caving. I couldn't sleep. My anxiety was off the charts. A couple weeks later, little bye little. I've been able to watch. With that being said. There's no way I'd think about it.
I understand guys who dive. It is interesting to look at fish and stuff. I don't understand guys who do this. Like, what the hell are they trying to see there?
@@SilverSoggy It's called natural selection whenever somebody dies in these caves. Sounds cruel, but people go in there because of their own stupidity,
I watch this every time I’m stressed out… it makes me realize how bad things actually could be, I could be stuck in tight ass cave! It always makes me feel better
@@Ethereal.X1234 that definitely helps, but i feel many who arent still would feel.. a type of way I'm never entering any caves like that ngl But either way, those caves look amazing 😊
Just the way he died is so disturbing. Trapped and ensealed and then dying upside down. Poor guy didnt even get a proper burial and was left there in such a stressed position, may God bless his soul at least he is in peace now.
I went into the nutty putty cave twice, a few years before he died. Just getting into the cave was nearly impossible without turning your head sideways and exhaling. When I went, the bottom half of the entrance hole was full of water.
Made me cry and I am usually not one to get like that I hope he is resting peacefully and his children are living good lives seeing happy family pictures of their dad 💕
No money on earth could make me do this guys. For you both to be able to do it this and remain so calm is just crazy and terrifying to me 😂 holy hell i need a breather after watching that!
@@firefightergtx3281 and if I want to perform cave exploring I'll carry a gun 🔫 with me inside so that If I stuck there or any holy shit happen I'd rather chose to kill myself over these awkward panic death 💀
I'm gonna be the assh**e here. This is fascinating to watch and certainly makes me feel claustrophobic. I understand the desire for adventure and discovery and it's your life to live the way you want. If you get stuck though other people then have to risk their lives to get you out, usually at the cost of thousands of dollars also. Some team of rescuers will have to spend time in dangerous conditions, risking their lives, away from their families to rescue someone who deliberately put themselves in unnecessary danger.
They aren't "deliberately" putting themselves into danger. The entire point of being a professional caver is that you do all the right things to stay out of danger. Your kind of logic can be applied to just about anything or anyone. If a cop gets wounded in a firefight, is he selfish for putting others at risk to recover him? If an unstable building collapses upon a construction worker is he selfish for "deliberately" being in danger and putting rescuers in danger, too? No, that's ridiculous. Rescuers signed up for that job. And often times areas full of caves have rescuers with caving experience for that reason. They aren't going to show up and berate those stuck in a cave. They're there to help because they want to help.
@@MintyLime703 Those are false equivalencies. Many professional cavers have died waiting for assistance and have also got rescue team members killed. Cops are required and they know what they sign up for. Construction workers are obviously required as well. Cave exploring is not required. They're deliberately putting themselves in danger, even though they don't recognize it.
@@MintyLime703 cops and construction workers provide value to society. Exploring caves is a hobby. I like these videos and all but they could at least lay down markers and some line and NOT go into flooding caves.
@@MintyLime703That's bad logic. Cops serve a purpose in society, they protect people, firefighters protect you when a fire breaks out which most of the time is out of your control. Exploring a dangerous cave though is in your control and by exploring this you're not providing anything of value to anything or anyone, it's just a stupid and dangerous hobby.
More than happy to explore caves through your videos from the comfort of my living room 😅 Looks amazing, but the is no way I’d ever be able to try this for myself
Crawling into a narrow, unknown passage that may not yield a place to turn around or could result in a boulder pinning your body isn’t “brave” or “boss”, it’s stupid.
@@Agesilaus.88 Hopefully that never happens. As long as they never overestimate themselves and take their time they should be fine. Easier said than done though.
@@soumyaranjandash5442 to maybe see something nobody ever saw before to push your limits yes its risky but its better than staying home doing nothing you just need to know yourself and to know when to stop
I once took part in a cave exploration as part of a field trip in my freshman year of high school. I had to shimmy over a gap, and I was so worried my feet or legs were going to cramp up or give out on me, or that I was going to get stuck between rocks lying on my belly. I still think back to, am genuinely terrified at what could have been, even though that experience was over 15 years ago. Props to you guys for doing this.
Rather than being terrified to look at the tiny spaces through which you squeeze in I am more scared of you guys getting lost there. Sorry I'm new to this but it's still so interesting to explore caves!!
Most people visit knowing other people all got out alive. I'm rarely a visitor and breech of a virgin cave is what I'm after. To be the first of my species inside..
Guys, just be careful to not crawl headfirst downward at too much of an angle. Would hate for a John Jones situation to happen. Reminds me of when I was a geology student years ago and going through caves in KY. For some reason the confinement didn’t bother me as much as a younger guy, but the thought of crawling on my belly with my back rubbing the ceiling just gives me the creeps, especially since many of the caves were on private property and we didn’t always tell people where we were going. I recall having a friend crawling in front of me and people behind us, with no way to turn around or back up. I’ve creeped myself out again.
Wow triple the subs from last time I checked nice. I still think this channel needs a few more lucky algorithms good title plus good thumbnail should grow you guys to a million subs. The title and thumbnail are the difference between a video going viral and the content is the decider on whether they come back.
I watch so many RU-vid vids of people who die in caving. This is the first normal caving experience I’ve had online. Incredible! I couldn’t do it myself but love to see people follow their passion❤
I swear I developed heart palpitations when he said "it helps if I get the air out of my stomach" I would just instantly die if I was in this situation.
This was actually giving me extreme anxiety watching them especially when he got so tight he could barely move. You cannot pay me enough money to make me do that.
What I find amazing that as you enter the cave its a portal into another world. Temperature changes. Just rocks, water and everthing else that goes with cave exploration !
@@harryedwards9391 Can you imagine what this Country was like 300 years ago ! There was a May 7, 1722 ! Clean water , no pollution, no plastics. Animals in abundance etc. Indians lived here for thousands of years and not much changed. We've decimated the land in the last 100 years in the name of progress !
Mad mad mad mad respect. I don’t think there are words in any language to give the respect to what you guys do. I can barely sleep in my blankets with out freaking out. Mad respect more then I’ll ever give a professional athlete
These videos are so immersive that I do get a real sense of anxiety while I'm watching. I'll admit I don't always have time to watch the whole video - but when I don't, I bet I'm not the only one who skips forward to the end, so I can watch you guys emerge from the cave. At that point I feel like everyone - including me - is safe again!
@@MarioMartinez-tt9lyyou ever seen that vid on YT where divers were just randomly diving and found sunken boat/ship and they found a man still alive? He went down with the ship, but he was in a section that had an air pocket, no light, and was down there for I believe a week or near a week. It was crazy. They literally saved his life. I think his name is David ? Idk the last name. It’s worth the watch.
I am kinda claustrophobic: I'm not afraid of narrow places, but afraid of low spaces. And this type of adventures (climbing between those stone plates) is exactly the most terrible thing I can imagine!! :))) I wonder why aren't you afraid, guys? As for me, you are just crazy, but this video is soooo cool! Thank you very much, guys! Only because of you, I can see such beautiful places!
I am agoraphobic. I become frozen in wide open spaces especially mountain sides or wide large meadows and fields. Everyone is different and we all have neurodiversity. I love snug, cozy spaces. It feels like a hug and I feel safe and comforted. These videos are fun to watch I love the exploration aspect it definitely lives up to it's name. I guess you could say I have the opposite fear of claustrophobia. I have done plumbing work as well before and it feels great shimmying into crawlspaced, inside cabinets, etc. I'm 5'4 and a pretty small guy so I can fit in some pretty tight spaces.
I don’t know why I keep watching these videos my anxiety be through the roof it be feeling like I can’t breathe lol 🙅🏾♂️then I be looking like how can they squeeze through the tiny cracks it’s truly amazing and they got balls of steel
When I watch these I imagine that it’s me in the video doing the crawling through these small and creepy caves and hating every second of it. Then I imagine just stopping and wishing I was at home in my bed so badly and get this this huge rush of joyous relief/happiness that I really am at home in my bed. It’s almost like I’m tricking my brain to release some endorphins lmao it’s a trip
That’s actually an anxiety reduction exercise! It can help with panic attacks. If you’re stressed think about what makes you comfortable and picture yourself in that safe space! It helps ground you!
Maybe this cave diving stuff could really help with depression. Like you’re mentally in a dark space, so you go to an actual one and you squeeze through really tight spaces and come out to see the light. What a release it must be
It's okay when you're with someone, but when you're alone, and you got stuck and no one knows where you are, it really really scares. Thanks a lot, after watching it my phobia increased 😅👌
As a claustrophobic, I watch these videos as a form of exposure therapy. And despite knowing that I am not the one stuck in a cave, it still makes my heart race and fills me with anxiety nevertheless. At 8:46, I had to pause the video and take a few deep breaths before resuming. That was almost too much to bear. Seeing him wedged like that, crawling under a 7in gap. NOPE NOPE NOPE!Im out! 😱
It’s scary because if I’m not wrong that’s similar to the position that the nutty putty guy was in except it was upside down.

That cave is fascinating. You have a lot of courage. I'd never do that, I get claustrophobic in an MRI machine. I'd collect some of those pretty rocks. Hope you can't get lost in there. And, I hope you never have an earthquake or get suck in those caves. God Bless you and keep you safe.
I would NEVER do something like this! I grew not being claustrophobic, but now that I’m a lot older, something like this would definitely scare me. I would be afraid of getting stuck or not knowing my way back out!
May God protect you from all harm! We must not tempt God in any way. There is a faustian struggle here and in any temptation that puts our life or soul in danger.
Why you don’t think you would have expressed awe and excitement seeing some of these majestic beautiful places? Definitely not the super tight areas but the big caves that are open are absolutely stunning and beautiful and I feel like anybody would expressed awe
I see you guys are genuinely fascinated with the formations, I respect that so much that you risk your life just to see what you think is beautiful. That’s freedom in my opinion
I don't understand how the heck you guys can squeeze completely thru some of those tight, can't turn around spots, with your balls as big as they are. This is the bravest stuff I've seen in some time. Beautifully recorded boys! Be safe and keep making good choices💕💥🙏🌱🌿☘️
Besides the small space, they put all the trust in the world in those headlamps.. if it goes out, they’re screwed. What a tragic death to die being lost in a dark tight, narrow cave. New fear unlocked.
Risking their life to explore & curiosity is proverbial among a certain race of people, they cant help themselves its in the blood Sometimes good comes of it and sometimes they end up maimed or unaliv3d ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BKCRNao_78A.htmlsi=Qs_3-0dep98p4N3Y
How do you navigate in these caves? How do you find your way back? What do you do in an emergency? I guess there is no connection once your are in it? Happy to get some answers :)
Most caves have topographical maps, and if its a popular cave those maps are generally pretty detailed. If you have a decent topographical map, a small compass and some decent skill in orientating then you can always find your position on the map by looking at recognisable things around you then trying to correlate that to the map. Often enough I went caving without a map though, but I have a photographical memory and a talent for direction finding so I usually know how to find my way back. If you're not like that there are always other ways, like leaving tiny glowsticks at junctions to mark which passage you came out of.
when i was in my 20's i could crawl under the house in tight places where i almost got stuck to repair plumbing but once i reached my 50's i got real claustrophobic. Its so bad now that when someone reclines their seat in front of my in an airplane i feel like everything is closing in on me and its harder to breathe. Its good to see people enjoying their youth!
That would be me 9 months pregnant laying on my back getting MRI in I'm claustrophobic the lady put ear buds in my ear I told her I can't breathe she said how I can't breathe and it's in my ears I was in panic mode lol
This reminds me of crawling under parts of my house. I don't do it for fun; I have to fix electrical and plumbing. The older I get, the harder it gets.
Same! I am not a big guy, but there are floor joists that I get stuck under, so I have to let as much of the air out of my lungs as I can to squeeze under them. You have to scoot quickly to get between the joists or if you try to breathe in while under a joist, you won't breathe much. Definitely not for the claustrophobic.
GOD blessed you both sonn and father that for great cave adventure you Gus really have big heart me even can’t think about what you’re doing in dark world even looking to a cave on day time it’s make me scary.
