Yes, and with an example. Unless you have 15 eye witnesses and video footage of say for example some guy unaliving people in a shopping mall then 100% yes assumption of innocence should be guaranteed. There is a 0% chance that commiting an atrocity by an entire community of people who know without a doubt 10000% that you commited said atrocity then you will be entering court by an already biased jury. They make their own beds in these scenarios. Outside of having hardcore proof then no way no how should the presumed guilty.

Innocent until proven guilty is a fallacy, accusations are enough to destroy reputations & relationships without trial, human rights are routinely denied & not followed in the uk.
