I got an idea. What if we had a set schedule to play old cod games. Something like Monday-OG Modern Warfare Tuesday-World at War Wednesday-Modern Warfare 2 Thursday-Black ops 1 Friday-Modern Warfare 3 Saturday-Black ops 2 Sunday-Newer cods Could get people back on the games in general and relive those glory days.

It's because you have some idiots complaining that it's the same game every year so they try to come up with some new inventions when really everyone would much prefer a nice simple create a class option with perhaps some new perks each year
@@EthanConrad123 Honestly, it'd be amazing if we just got one single fresh Call of Duty, called... literally just that. Call of Duty. Maps, weapons, different theme's/era's etc. could be added as DLC, or free content, micro transactions for cosmetics could be implemented (whilst retaining the ability to unlock them through gameplay) Basically a bit like CoD Mobile, but for PC/next gen, and without all the BS mobile stuff. People always argue that live services make nowhere near as much profit as yearly releases, but CoD as a franchise is dying at this point. Warzone is pretty much the only thing keeping it afloat, which says a lot.
To answer the title, yes, but mostly TDM, depending on when you play it’s tough to find a DOM game. It’s also a shame that you can’t find a prop hunt game. I played this last night
The game isn't too bad anyway to play on campaign mode even though, the graphics plus colours makes me sore eyes but, I'm definitely not a fan of online multiplayer lobbies especially call of duty advanced warfare
MWR is a great game imo but toxic community didn't appreciate it that much. I'd take on weapon and micros over SBMM any day. I just wish MW2R comes out soon
Spawn system was and still is a massive issue. For some game modes such as FFA it was borderline game breaking and unplayable. Don’t understand why it was changed from the original.

This game is so fun. My favourite cod on PS4. Sadly, only the campers still play this game. Is so sad, we only see ppl corner camping and a lot of times the game ends due time limit
Yup, just starting playing this game religiously last week. It’s mostly new COD players who have NO IDEA how to play old style games🤣 All they know is Warzone strategies
Game is indeed I can confirm looted with corner campers or high building campers. However its so satisfying to tbag and shoot their dead corpse when they get caught off guard, I am quite the aggressive player but cod 4 taught me to be a bit more patient with my aggressive playstyle. Ive seen dudes on the floor proned staring at spots for a long time and funnily enough I tbagged them when they were alive and oh boy when they saw the killcam it was funny
I forgot how much i loved this game. I was very unhappy my freshman year of college and after 3 years of no cod (i didnt play jet packs) it was a breath of fresh air. I remember dropping 100 kills on bog and vacant ground war it was too fun. That and jev videos.

I feel like the reason these game shine so much was the fact that the sound of everything was so smooth and clean. No wonder there is an obsession with ASMR
Birdman made a video ranting about what ruined MWR, once they added Supply drop weapons and we have no access in ever getting them on our own, it was bad. But then, they added 100 emblems, reticles, 30 character uniforms and faces that YOU WILL NEVER NOTICE OR TELL THE DIFFERENCE when changed and equipped. So you never get the guns and awesome camos. I never understood for a long time why people fucking get mad about supply drop weapons. It's not that they are added into an old game, but it's that you'' have no chance in ever getting them or the cool gun camos, and just keep getting scammed.

In 2023/4 (happy new year everyone) I still play cod 4 original not remastered and always find a lobby even at weird hours lol this game will never die.
Just started playing this again, and really enjoying it. Just wish it had more people playing it, can’t really find a game mode other than tdm and dom and I’m a S&D player. Really enjoying compared to the new school cod
I miss playing bloc on the original cod 4. I used to run through the apartment buildings sniping everyone across the courtyard in the other building. A lot of rage quitting after that. Lol.

This game will always be severely underrated. Way better than IW imo. Won my first OLT on this game, a 3v3 AM on GB. Played wagers almost every night and the pubs were great. The skins, kits and dlc guns were really cool too and they had a decent crafting system that required a lot of grinding but you could still get cool shit. I switched to pc a couple years ago and this is one of the biggest games I miss on PS4. This gameplay brought me back and made me happy. Have a good night Mr fortunate
People hated it because they added guns that were not in the game originally and also supply drops. Sniping was also broken on release and didn't get fixed for so long. Collating was all messed up forever.
Love this game but the current playerbase ruins most matches. That district game was the perfect example, people just continuously running to the same camping spot all game.
This game is literally dead for me in Australia can’t find a single lobby if I’m lucky I match a single player and can’t start the game. Anyone else have no luck?
Tbh I’ve been playing this a lot recently and it’s been really fun. Find team death match lobbies very easily. Still don’t know why this game got so much hate. Micro transactions weren’t even that bad in this, they were fair imo. Plus some of the best dlc weapons ever!
@@Soldier.505 I don't care for MTX and am glad they seem to be phased out of cod but I don't think they ruined it. None of the unlockable guns were so good it was pay 2 win
I think what made this game hated was fact that in the beginning of it the only way to get this game was to buy the infinite warfare bundle cause by activision greed and they know nobody was willing to buy infinite warfare and on top of that 70 to 80 dollars. When multiplayer came out a lot of OGs and even newcomers hate the game bc it focus on campers which is IW intention. And they did nothing to the campers which drove people off at the time.
I enjoyed cod 4 remastered a lot more after months after release. They just had an issue where the spawns were changed and they eventually returned them to normal cod 4 spawns and they had a few issues like not being able to hit collaterals and the time to kill through it off as the connection was so much better you died a lot quicker despite guns being the same damage
I feel like this game got a lot of unwarranted hate, I played OG CoD4 and I was probably one of the few that liked the new additions to the remaster. From what I remember, none of the DLC guns are more OP than the M16 and it was pretty easy to unlock due to how generous the credit system was.
Dlc guns are NOT balanced. The xmr outperforms the m16, and the m16 is busted af. The one lmg is busted also. Those guns are better then the m16 and have 2 tap across the map. It's bull. The games trash now.
This was probably the easiest game to pub stomp in. Made it 10x more enjoyable + UMG / Gamebattles was insanely fun to play. 10:10 game in my opinion. Very well balanced.
Stuns aren’t going to help you against players like the ones in the District match. You gotta use smokes and push towards them through the smoke. UAV Jammer as well if they’re spamming UAVs.
Man this game is still going strong with its fanbase I love playing it to and I love to use uav jammer especially against people that pay attention to there map it’s so much fun to catching sweats off gard but I mainly use stopping power

With the new games not doing so hot and being politicized, I think it’s better to go back to the classics. Loved original CoD4, and I love this one. The original MW is the prime example of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it
If the rumors are true and 2022 MW will be focusing on drug wars, they have a thematic reason to include maps like Highrise, Terminal, Favela and the likes. Here's hoping 🤞
I stopped cod4 for almost 6 months then got back into it use to go like 30-4 almost every game but after getting back into it I started going like 20-12 cause of the camping and bs and after getting those types of games 5 times in a row I punched my moniter and flipped my stand and had to get a new one so I just stopped playing all together
It's the first cod I got back into on ps4, after along break after ghosts, I hated advanced warfare and gave up, I'm on ww2 at the moment and love it waiting for Vanguard
I think the reason it got so much hate one 1: It being attached to Infinite Warfare, 2: The supply drops, and 3: Added weapons and camos. But I think mainly it had to do with the hate train going on with Infinite Warfare
There's a small player base for MWR on PC, trying to populate lobbies and keep the multi alive...but you need to use Steam Chat to find out who is playing and to join their game.
I have very fond memories of playing the MWR campaign on my Xbox One. I loved playing the campaign, and the microtransactions didn't even bother me, I remember buying the cheapest CP pack and trying my luck XD, even if I didn't get anything I wasn't mad, I just saved all the tokens I earned from matches and tried to get the Magnum 44 and when I finally got it I was so happy.
The reason I personally didn't like MWR is that the spawns were terrible and the TTK was way too fast compared to the original. Always felt like I was playing hardcore.
