I've been using shark wheels for a long time now and it's the only wheel I will ever own. Little pricey but they are worth every penny. Think I've had mine 7 years or 8 years now and same set and they held up and still hold thire name. Never going back
hey! nice video, I got a question, how does the shark wheel do against concrete sidewalk with large expansion joints? Especially those that does not have silicone strip filled in. Thanks!
Thanks; I have yet to find a crack in concrete that has stopped me dead in my track. They do seem to be softer than typical wheels so I imagine they’d do better, but maybe marginally
By the way the wheel came to a somewhat abrupt stop on 07:01 & considering you are using new bearings (rated ABEC 9 accourding to the specs on Amazon), it seems like the axle nut was slightly overtightened. You also made the right decision by instaling the washers at each side of the wheels, as this are meant to reduce the friction exerted by the parts of the truck that fix the wheel in place (end of the hanger & axle nut). I hope you guys get to enjoy lots of rides together & may the force be with the both of you!
maicol samaniego that would be interesting. I think it would come down to whatever the difference in surface area contact is between a shark wheel and whatever the size of the regular wheel you chose had. In a perfect world, the one with less would have less friction, and thusly be faster.
@@TheForerunner117 oh awesome. I was thinking of getting some nice expensive ones too, I really like speed so was thinking of getting some bronson g3 or some... idk yet. If you could make a video on the ones you get I would really appreciate it!
AJV I can definitely tell you that the smoothness and speed difference from the stock ones were highly noticeable. Especially since my girlfriends board still had the stock ones, you could easily see the difference between the two. And for something like 10$ I think I spent for them, You can’t go wrong
Bee Anderson you could. But you might have issues with wheel bite, or at the very least, just not be able to lean as much unless your trucks are tall or you prefer to have them super tight
I’m thinking of getting these could you give me a link to be exact, I don’t like to buy things on amazon cuz I got scammed last time. Plz and thank you
Hello im 13 and riding naked signature pro, i live where there Are gravel dirt and asphalt roads. I would really like to know if they Are useable on gravel and dirt or not? And do they fit on my board? Regards Valdemar from Denmark
Wuri PvP they probably will fit on your board if it’s a standard truck. I imagine they’ll be better on gravel than basic wheels but I imagine there are off-road wheels that would would better for gravel than these. These might dig in
Wuri PvP most of the ones I see that see for off-road that look proficient are pretty pricy. I’d try some shark wheels and see how you feel. You want something soft and large.
To a point....i went from concrete to straight dirt going about 15 20 miles an hour and it was smooth and easy riding but pushing off was a different story because of the dirt itself
DanZel unbolt the wheel from the truck, and use the threaded post to hold the wheel still while using a screw driver to pry the outer bearing off, flip it around and repeat.
@@TheForerunner117 Ah. I'm kinda surprised yours isn't broken yet haha. My buddy's Kryptonics board only lasted him about a month and a half. He did some light tricks with it and the tail snapped. Hope you can find a nice board next season.
NeonMangos I haven’t exactly started messing around with doing tricks or even really anything involving the tail at all yet. One day I got brave and started doing the thing where you use the tail to pick up the front to make quick turns and that same day both my girlfriend and I wiped out doing it lol. So we stopped doing that for a while because we both walked around like old people complaining of our soreness for about a week. We mostly ride around the neighborhoods looking for long mellow hills to carve down. We’ll probably start snowboarding here this winter.
wow, how the fuck did i get such a small channel in my recommended? I hope for your channel's sake that i'm not the only one getting this recommended, that would be very good for the growth of your channel.
I honestly have no idea. Its good to hear, but I'm really not sure how this video in particular is doing so well, especially just starting out doing this kind of thing.
