My sophomore year, at the end of the school year, my teacher showed us “It’s a Wonderful Life.” She told us that she showed this every year to her students because her life was changed in wonderful ways because we were in it. 😊 Made me feel warm and fuzzy.
"Die Hard", is a Christmas movie. Opening and closing songs are Christmas songs. The reason Bruce Willis is in Los Angeles is to spend Christmas with his family. It is an action Christmas movie.✌️
The Christmas Story is a classic! My son has lived that movie ever since he was a baby. Also, here is a fun fact about the movie. There was a hole drilled into the poll and inside of that poll was a vacuum sucking Flick’s tongue to make it look like it was frozen stuck😀
Flick getting his tongue stuck involved the actor (Scott Schwartz) putting his tongue where there's a little tiny hole. To put it simply, it's basically a vacuum effect.
Oh, yes, Die Hard is in fact a Christmas film. This quote always made me laugh: "Now *I* have got a machine-gun! Ho-Ho-Ho!" As for the Grinch, I think the CGI version is fantastic.
Die Hard is undoubtedly a Christmas movie. The whole story is set in a office building that is in the middle of hosting a Christmas party. You take that element away, it ceases to be Die Hard. More importantly though, the whole reason John McClane is in the story in the first place is because he's visiting his wife and family for Christmas. Likewise, you change the time of year when the story takes place, and it further ceases to be Die Hard. All of this is to say that Die Hard is without a doubt, a Christmas movie.
The fact that no one knew or heard of it’s a wonderful life was a bit upsetting that hurt. It’s a wonderful life is a classic, is a gem, is perfect if you haven’t seen it watch it now is a must see movie for all generations💚
I recently asked my best friend if he thinks Die Hard is a Christmas movie or not, and he came back to me with an answer that I never even considered: that Die Hard is an adult version of Home Alone, which left me kind of speechless. I was thinking, "Oh, my god, he's right."
facts, Die Hard 1 AND 2 are Christmas Movies, but i'd rather watch Die Hard whenever i want than at Christmas time. Santa Claus The Movie is one of my all time faves.
@@robertjamesplays9721 It takes place on Christmas Eve, it's about a man fighting to be reunited with his wife to say he loves her because they had a fight, the movie is filled with Christmas themes. There are no rules for what is a Christmas movie but Die Hard has enought Christmas in it to be one.
Look, if "Die Hard" isn't a Christmas Movie - even though it takes place during Christmas, and there's a Christmas party, and there are Christmas decorations and Christmas songs - that means "Home Alone" and "Love Actually" aren't Christmas movies either.
I love Jaxon in these videos but after his comments about Nightmare Before Christmas we may have to have words 😂😂😂😂. I adore that movie and have so much merch and even have hand painted chairs and a table by a friend of mine that up cycles old furniture and paints movie or gaming stuff on it lol xxxx
How can Jordyn say that the Muppets are creepy? They are icons!! It hurts my heart to hear that because I am a fan of the muppet Christmas carol and the muppets in general
-Jim Carey almost quit "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" on the first day. It was due to all the makeup and costume he had to put on. -There are doctors on RU-vid who broke down the kind of injuries Harry and Marv would have sustained in "Home Alone" and "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York."
"Look who's talking now" is one of my Christmas movie picks. Some major plots revolve around Mikey wanting a dog for Christmas. The mom gets a job as a mall elf. And the end involves daddy making it home in time for Christmas
Tongue to pole always reminds me of Dumb and Dumber. 🤣 Also: Love how excited Joe gets every time someone gets a movie right. Literally me, clapping histerically in my room until my roommates come up to complain. 😅😅
YES, Die Hard is 100% a Christmas movie! Christmas party, Christmas tree, and Christmas music through the whole thing. Tell 'em RUN DMC!!! Jaxon wearing the lamp shade was so awesome 🤣 yes, I know someone else wore it too but on him it looked like hair & a hat bwaaahahaaaaa
Interesting facts about the Christmas Story. While some of the movie was shot in Cleveland, many of the portions were filmed in Toronto. That winter, it did not snow in Cleveland. Prior to filming in Toronto, the producers even tried pouring instant mashed potatoes on the houses and street in Cleveland. While you can visit the house, it is currently for sale. The pole used had a hole and a suction tube, Flick was not really stuck to the pole. The scenes set in the department store was in an old department store in Cleveland. Many of the children seen in these scenes were actually extras from the Greater Cleveland area.
the original Grinch is the best. Elf is the only Will Ferrell movie I can watch without getting mad. the muppets Christmas carol made me scared when I was younger. It's a Wonderful Life is my least favorite Christmas movie. the kid from A Christmas story annoyed me so much. the charlie brown Christmas special makes me so happy every year. Home Alone is a classic. i love to watch it every year. The Nightmare Before Christmas is my favorite stop-motion movie ever. Die Hard is a Christmas movie.
The ones who guessed A Christmas Carol for the third one really should have gotten half a point at least. I'm somewhat appalled how few of the reactors was familiar with It's a Wonderful Life, but then I've never watched A Christmas Story. (I was able to guess it because of cultural osmosis.) I'm sure for many, that's just as shocking.
Fun fact: Bill Watterson, the Calvin& Hobbes cartoonist, fought a licensing battle bc he didn't want to cheapen his product's value emotionally/morally, being on merchandise or movies/TV (Calvin would've loved it tho). To me, as a writer, Watterson is a hero...
Really loved this challenge. I really liked the ones that you guys did with the props and the horror movies. So it was really cool to see this done with Christmas movies too. It’d be awesome to see more guess the movies based on the props. Always loved watching your videos. The Reactors always look like they are having the best time! They are so lucky to be a part of this channel! 🙂
