I hope the A’s do well for one reason: Dustin Hughes deserves to be happy. Edit: I wrote this BEFORE he gave Zack the rare baseball!!! What a solid dude.
@@DClean No, Germany does not have many Baseball fans. Most Germans think that Baseball is boring and they don't understand the rules. I am 49 years old. Started to play Baseball when I was 16 in 1989 and played for almost 18 years. Not many teams in Germany and surely not many people who like Baseball. Greetings from Berlin, Germany.
@@DClean No as @SaltyWinchester1973 said. I myself started to watch baseball in 2017, right after the Cubs won the World Series. I love the city of Chicago and thought baseball is a cool sport. Since then I'm a Cubs fan and watch every game at home in the night or the next day!
Dustin Hughes is great! I like it when team players interact with the fans, it shows they still remember what it's like to be a baseball fan. There are so many things that teams discard that the fans would kill for, like cards from the dugout that he gave you during the doubleheader.
I saw a huge stack of game used lineup cards for sale at Yankee Stadium tonight. I thought cool, maybe I'll pick one up, but when I saw that they were selling them for $100 each, I decided to pass. Zack getting them for free is a great deal.
@@zackhample have you ever been to a Durham Bulls game? I saw where you’d mentioned (I believe) Asheville and I remember the Fort Bragg game but don’t remember any videos of a Durham Bulls game. I figured with Bull Durham being such a popular baseball movie that would be one of the places you’d have went since you can get to the old stadium pretty easily before catching a game at the newer one.
Thanks Zack! Watching your A’s videos has been fun. As a kid we’d take the Bart train from San Jose up to Oakland and watch the Bash Bro’s in the late 80’s. Thanks man! Wish they could get a new venue in the bay
Zack, You and Chris perfectly captured the Good, The Bad and The Ugly of The Coliseum, and the A's game experience. Rabid fans, a hellscape parking lot, a beautiful playing surface, plenty of room to stretch out, and the very real possibility to old stadium could collapse under you. Not to mention that the A's can't hit. Just abysmal BA's. I went to my first A's game last month, and it was fun. The staff was friendly and helpful. I hope they don't abandon Oakland for Vegas. Jim in Nashville
Fenway Chris is the freaking man lol congrats Zack on getting the ball from '20 opening day. Dustin seems like a great guy. Wish all the players had his attitude towards fans. Great video, great day at the ballpark.
I've thoroughly enjoyed watching your videos from the Oakland Coliseum. It was 1971 (I was 7 years old) when my dad took me to see my very first Oakland A's baseball game at the Oakland Coliseum. I saw many games there between '71 to when I moved away from the area in 1987. Oh, and yes, Dustin Hughes is what baseball is really all about. Again, thanks for this series of videos. Fun memories....
Zack, I think you’ll be thankful for all these Oakland visits when the A’s leave town. And let’s also hope that never happens with a new ballpark. One that will be the envy of the league when it opens. As a Canadian MLB fan, I’m gonna make my way down to the Coliseum for a few games before it’s gone. All the best and thank you for your awesome videos!
*I love Fenway Chris just chillin'... & chuggin' a brewskie in the background. Nice video as usual, Z.H.* _BTW, congrats on your 300th game-played ball Zack!_
I don't care much for baseball, but now that I'm starting too, I instantly became Dustin's fan. He's my favorite player. What a kind dude! I'm a braves fan. I'm from Georgia so don't call me a bandwagon hahah. But either way now he's my favorite player!
I got a Walsh jersey signed by Walsh in spring training. It was crazy because he said whoever guesses who is singing would get the autograph and I got it. Walsh was the nicest player I ever met.
Something tells me If Dustin Hughes wasn’t playing baseball, he’d be doing exactly what Zack does say to day! 😀 His kindness is so nice to watch and he’s an absolute gent.
Are you basically the most famous fan in MLB? lol You guys do a great job of capturing what a game looks like in person. TV cameras don't do that - it's hard to explain exactly how but I think you and your subs know exactly what I'm talking about. The shots are genuine. Also the actual games have so much going on behind the scenes that people don't see unless they go to them. Excellent channel, excellent content.
It's nice to see a player acting like a really person and it happen to be living his dream.. God bless u dustin hope more players can follow in your foot steps
Hey Zack, do you plan on coming to Busch Stadium in St. Louis for a Cardinals game this year? It'd be cool to meet you! This is a special season for my hometown Cardinals since it's Yadier Molina and Albert Pujols' final season. Maybe Adam Wainwright too.
WHO IS WITH ME!!! Lets get a petition to get Zack Hample as a fan character in MLB The Show video game. Everytime i hit foul ball or homer I think he should be the one catching it hahahahahahaha
I've been watching you for years you make me want to go to baseball games I used to play baseball and I used to go to a lot of Dayton Dragon games you make me want to go to baseball games
