This truly is a great video. I think that in order to bee independent, you have to depend on something or someone then, your independence will become like never before. So I love this video. As a totally blind adult, I had to depend on others to become independent. So to bee independent you got to depend and on someone or something for you to bee independent. So great video here. I love this. I think that all of us can learn something from this.
Love this! When my daughter changed her Birth Certificate / Passport etc it was a really emotional process but at the same time it was such a positive step in her transition. Having people love and support you and your family can only lead to good things. Keep posting!

When Amanda started crying, I started crying hard. The fear and relief are so real! And the struggle is so real. My husband (female-to-male) started transitioning two years ago, right before we also began the journey of moving to a new country. We are in a battle to get his gender marker changed (Idaho and Texas are both absolutely horrible places to work with on gender changes, especially when living in a different country at the same time). It’s such a frustrating process and you never know what to expect. Thank you guys so much for sharing your journey. My husband and I are kind of young, so we often feel like lost children trying to navigate this scary world. Seeing other adults going through this, and seeing such raw emotions and thoughts, makes me feel so much less alone in going through it. Also Shaye is so gorgeous and such a shining light, I want her to know it! And Amanda, you are such a strong warrior for fighting with her. Your kids are amazing and you’re doing so well navigating this with them! Thank you both ❤

You are a blessing to me. You give me the insight I need to understand my trans adult daughter. I beat myself up mentally for not being able to recognize that her gender identity could be the cause of her anxiety and depression. She is so much happier now and it is rewarding to be a part of her journey. Hugs!

As a devout member, who like you - realized it was not aligning with my soul and realizing what I thought I believed and knew was ROCKED to my foundation. I found you and your video's during my faith transition- I knew leaving the church would change so many things in my life and was I brave enough to do what I felt so strongly that I had to do. YOU showed me that you must follow and do the things that you do FEAR. . You both are so beautiful and have NO IDEA the impact you are making on the world, the community and the world. THANK YOU!

Those kids are starting to look like triplets! That tree looks amazing sister. I needed an invite to that baby shower. I would have bought some potato salad! Shay can do some makeup. That helps so much. But his skin looks good and that hair transplant did wonders. Girl you better do it with those jumpsuits.
Being you is what is good makes you happier in church I couldn't be me I am lesbian and having amazing wife who left church too with her daughter we combined families but biggest fear I didn't think I would face this year was losing my daughter it almost pushed back to church I didn't as I have Amazing wife my ex husband has no parental rights for reasons. That was hard process as he only wanted me pregnant that is it or having kids by adopting. Yes glad had them as I love them . But my daughter who passed she was 7 had severe epelpisy and other medical problems. I miss her with all my heart. Fear a parents should not have to face. I lost my grandfather then is September who was not part church hadn't been for years and years. I just miss them both he was 90 I lost two grandfathers and daughter within 18 months it hard. But being your true self is best. My wife and me been through hard time losing daughter losing my grandfather this year and we was in car accident. But I still don't let this stop me going to nursing school was fear that would be good. I would not make it I did it been so much fun learning things never knew.

I have to say that I am extremely envious of your journey but have to admit jealousy because I know that I will never be as beautiful as you or what anyone would even call "passing". Please keep posting and giving some of us hope.
Since you have stepped away from the Mormon religion, have you looked at any other religions and found something you think aligns with your beliefs of God being real or not, or anything like that? I think the process of figuring out what is truth, what is real, vs what is man-made rules and just opinions, is a tough but important journey too!
Lol I'm from Hannibal Missouri- boyhood home of Mark twain! Featuring shopping centers named things like Huck Finn Shopping Center and Steamboat Bend Shopping Center- restaurants like The Mark Twain Dinette and Becky Thatcher Dinner... Basically wehave a massive amount of tourist traps and every little thing is named after things having to do with Mark twain...but.... we also have super neat and interesting history things like the Hannibal museum is really fascinating and my favorite- mark twain cave- the actual cave that all the kids in Hannibal played in... explored in ( there is a sad story having to do with little boys going to explore the caves around here- a mystery that tugs at your heartstrings) i think every kid who lived in Hannibal from like the 1800s thru the 90s ( my time as a teen etc) have played in a cave or jumped into the Mississippi or like the boys in my neighborhood which was a tiny river community about 5 minutes south of the mark twain cave- we lived literally on the river and the only "business" in this tiny legit one road community was the tiny post office and then the dam on the river which pre-911 had a soda vending machine - you could just ride your bike down and get an actual soda lol. But Hannibal loves Mark twain - and we actually have a bunch of other really neat things that Hannibal is known for- plus we have a haunted Hannibal trolley ride at night in the summer and fall.. oh it's so fun! You ride around and hear the fun ghost stories of Hannibal- including the cave where a crazy dr from st Louis hung a little surprise for the kids who found a little hole where they could peek into tne cave... yeah I would have probably died if I had seen what he had hanging up and I'm not usually creeped out by stuff in caves) The end of the haunted Hannibal trolley ride is at the old Baptist cemetery where they give you divining rods and set you free... it's on a bluff over the river its dark and there are graves with civil war soldiers etc... I was led straight to the very edge under a fence and found a grave covered in grass that they had never seen before.. they had to have it like officially mapped or whatever after I found it.. it was actually a foot stone that goes at the bottom of the grave.. and they usual just have the initials ofthe person... my name is jaelle - yeah i know my mom wanted to be fancy- it's the curse of my life I swear because how in the world and got that jaelle is pronounced....JL .. I will never know 🤦♀️ but yeah basically my name is jl. And guess what the initials were on the foot stone. Yep. JL. LOL my husband took one look at it and turned around and said I'm out. Lol he walked right back to the trolley lol and sat downhaha he's used to my weirdness by now altho it still freaks him out- he still hates going to Nauvoo with me lol cause something weird always happens and i love it and it freaks him out lol. So yeah I have a pic of the foot stone and the people who own the tour etc asked me if I had any relatives that had ever been known to witch for water and i busted out laughing and said yep- both of my paternal great grandfathers over in Rockport both did that as a job- all around the area they would go and find where people should dig there wells lol! They did it separately tho they weren't cool that way to go into "business " together haha! Guess it's in the genes! So yeah I'm basically a big fan of Hannibal and it's history and I'm an hour from nauvoo and adore it with all my heart lol and would be a fabulous tour guide for both places if anyone wants to come visit! I see so many men just manipulating the system to get their way and to make biological women feel uncomfortable. BUT with you, I see a beautiful TRUE side of being transgender. I am curious. Because of the faith shift and Shaye becoming her authentic self, has their been a shift in marital "roles" per se. As a cis lesbian in a relationship with another cis lesbian, we never had those expectations for one another and I feel as though household and even daily expectations cease to exist for us because we're not in a heteronormative relationship. Has there been a change?

Your expectiation was that the judge wouldn't haven't been supportive. Why do you stay in Utah? Family? Why do those who love and support you want to stay there?
As a Christian woman, watching your family go through this transition absolutely ripped my heart out. We all interpret the Bible differently, but at the end of the day we need to acknowledge what is right, from that which is wrong. Justifying what we as sinners want, by changing scripture to conform to something that God looks down upon is sad. It took 1 person 1yr, to change a family of 5's belief system and possibly their eternity, all to conform to 1 persons mindset because they loved him. Were we not supposed to love Jesus that way and forsake all else?
