I'm watching and when you showed the eyeshadow you were giving a second chance to, I said "he's going use the purples to see if it's worth keeping just for the two purples" lol. I love you and your love of purple...I feel the same way honestly.
I started playing with makeup recently and with Robert's help I started off strong! No baking, no copius amounts of product, no unnecessary products *cough*color corrector *cough*, blush placement that compliments my face, and so much more!
When you realize you've spent half the night walking around with your lashes halfway down your cheeks, lipstick smeared to your ears and a layer of foundation melted down your neck... Um, not that I would know anything about that. No. Never. 😅
My mom came out of the store once, grinning for all the world and basically walking like it was the Mugler runway, gets in the car, floofs her hair and says “I must look great today, everyone was looking at me and smiling” I had to tell her she was missing one ENTIRE LENS from her huge 1980’s Sofia Lauren sunglasses. 😂 🤓 We laughed so hard we both got a belly ache.

I used to work for Benefit, you are supposed to put your brush into the wax and then the powder :). whilst yes they can be used individually that wasn't their intended use. This might help create that darker colour you are looking for. Hope this helps!
There is a big misconception with cosmetic creators that brows are "never true black". Umm I'm Mexican/Italian and yep, totally black brows. Frustrating.
The Danessa Myrecks chrome flakes: I had a similar learning curve with a multichrome cream shadow from an indie brand that closed. If I don't use the right base, it's a flakey, patchy mess. But with the right base, it's ethereal gorgeous color (a blue with magenta and violet shifts)
I use glitter glue only for flakes and it looks AMAZING! It's so foiled and blinding, stays on all day and night without breaking up at all, and everyone is commenting on how amazing it looks. I have given up on mixing liquids etc.

Danessa Myricks' products look so beautiful, but she collaborates with the MLM LimeLife (she has an entire collab line with them), and I can't bring myself to support someone who works with what is basically a pyramid scheme. It's a real shame because she is so talented and does that space-age aesthetic that I love, but I couldn't support her unless she broke ties with that MLM.
she distributes her products thru Alcone, whatever issue you have with limelife you can direct to Alcone. She's a small indie brand who has had to use Alcone to get her products out to the masses. to disparage a black own brand like hers that does it best to reach as many people is really pathetic and now you have other sheep jumping on too. This is why I will never trust so called "allies".
@@isobel64 If you do some further research, you will see that she does a line specifically for Limelife. Most of her products are not for Limelife or even Alcone but she does do a collab.
For some reason the bronzer looks orange and grey at the same time, like a weird undertone And the shops that carry the Fenty highlighters in my country advertise them as body highlighters, even the packaging mentionsthat, i just googled and realized that international versions don't say anything about being a body shimmer 😂

You wonder if companies like Benefit consult or employ MUA’s for the design aspect of their products. What Robert said about the layout was spot on. Also the range of shades was so broad and would not be good for one person. Like make a palette for blonde, brown, red, black haired people!
I think you should try some of the duochromes from JD Glow. They are not the flakes, but just the pigments & they are hands down the best duochromes I’ve ever used. Absolutely stunning. I’ve always thought the flakes looked too…..flakey. lol. Beautiful look regardless! 🖤

The flakes are pretty but seem a bit tricky it definitely looked better with the second layer idk if its just the camera or me but seemed like the first layer flakes were falling off

I heard from another reviewer that the REM is owned by morphe or comes from same factory 🏭 it was another makeup item i thought was garbage 🗑 for the price
Basically the same company that owns Morphe also owns REM. Forma brands owns Playa Beauty, Lipstick Queen, Bad Habit Skincare, Morphe and Morphe 2, Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics and REM Beauty and I’m pretty sure there’s more brands under Forma I just listed what I could remember off the top of my head. A lot of the brands are made at different factories they just all have the same “parent” company. 💕

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE STORMS!😍💜 When I was but a wee lass, my dad and I would sit on the porch during a hurricane. Thankfully the porch was covered so we didn't get too wet, but it was so cool to watch the trees bend and the rain blow! That inglot bronzer was formulated in the 90s and was revolutionary, maybe thats why they kept it. I know my mom used it as bronzer vs contour and also eyeshadow. I dont think its a contour shade unless you have a very warm undertone
I would kill for the ability to apply makeup so expertly. How does he know what shades will look good where? How does he put it on and then not panic, like OMG I look crazy. I either have to take everything off with a makeup wipe and add another 30 minutes, or go out like this.

I LOVE Trixie Mattel so I'm glad the palette turned out alright this time around. I completely believe you about the shimmers though, I don't have Bottle Blonde (because I'm vegan and it had carmine) but I got the Plant Gay palette and the bio-glitters and shimmers are hard pressed and frankly Not It. Their high coverage gloss formula is AMAZING though (Floral Fixation from that collection is an all star!) and I think their hero blush palettes are amazing too. It's a newer brand that's still growing and refining. One thing you can say for Trixie is she's ALWAYS working and striving for improvement.

Hey Robert, normally, I would agree that domed powder products are, in fact, baked. The Fenty Diamond Bombs are actually a putty formula as were the Stila Heaven's Hue and Heaven Dew.
Omg! That “I got bangs” shade in the Bottle Blonde palate was incredible!!!! It is like neon, and set off the whole eye look. Then you added the glitter/flakes and I died 💀🪦 I love rainy days too!!! I’m American, but I lived in North Yorkshire UK for 4 years and I miss the weather every day. Literally the BEST rainy book and tea days, snow days, chilly sunny spring days, warm summer days. Just gorgeous. Makeup + Alcohol literally created some of my most embarrassing looks. Never drink and beat your face!!🤣🤣🤣
I love danessa myricks infinite chrome flakes. I find it slightly uncomfortable, but the look of it is incredible. Let it dry, then reapply. It dries down very well and stays put for hours.
My brows are very light blonde and I need a really cool toned blonde/taupe brow product (I prefer tinted brow gels) and Benefit doesn’t really cater to my colouring either. All the light colours have a warm tone.

Purple & black looks amazing on you there definitely your go to colors 💜🖤 but you should definitely do a Christmas look or a couple of Christmas looks that would be good content for the holiday🔥
Omg I'm late but I'm so glad you bought up that finish with the NIMYA spray!!! I thought I was the only one!! Whenever I wear it, it looks like I have a film on my face!! Sometimes if I overload it too it does feel quite tight and heavy after it's dried down
I’m so glad you said something about the nimya setting spray. I had the exact same vinyl skin look and thought I was losing my marbles! I only used a little bit and I looked like I had Barbie skin (not in a good way) by the end of the day! I’m going to try to spray it and then a rose water to see if it helps manage the vinyl look.

The flakes look like a product that you would use sparingly. I wonder how it would look as a winged liner just on its own? And I absolutely love the rain. It's currently just grey out but it's supposed to rain later today and I can't wait. 🖤
The brow zings palette is great if you have basically no brow hairs and use it as a base. Most brow products slide off of bare skin or get patchy when there no hair there. The darker waxes make a great primer for other products to go on top of and the clear wax is good for making the few hairs you have thicker so going back in with pencils and tinted gels has a much nicer effect. I use it before my other products and it’s been a game changer. Now I can make mine look full and natural instead of having to just block them in 😄

Robert this is such a gorgeous look! I love purple as a shadow colour more than any other even though it's not a colour I wear often. Really enjoy these second chance videos because it gives you the opportunity to try different things and demonstrate how using different techniques can have a big impact on how well a product performs. 10/10

Have you been sent the Fenty liquid highlighters?? I can’t remember when they were coming available but there’s no word in Australia yet 😭 they look stunning and while I’ve seen others try them, it’s your opinion I trust the most.
Hey!! I would never put a client in camera. My private work and “social media work” are two separate worlds! However, I would do someone’s makeup on camera who doesn’t mind thousands of people being able to comment on their appearance and who I could pay for their time!
