I have been on the other side of the bench where I am the boss being labeled as toxic but when you delve deeper the staff are incompetent, non- committal and have no respect for boundaries. I think we need to have a discussion on toxic subordinates and how managers can maneuver this without compromising their position and being labeled as villains in people’s stories
Omg I've been going through the same exact scenario being a new manager and managing previous colleagues. They have been a total nightmare to work with, no respect for me nor for their work and have been labeled as toxic manager when i became firm with them and requested they di the wirk they're getting paid for instead of sitting around and engaging in meaningless conversations
After going through disciplinary hearing that lasted 5months because the boss was abusing her power and entertaining gossips, my prayer is to find a new job next year 2024.
I used to put podcasts, audio books and I would also listen to these shows in between shifts before my colleagues come in. It really has a positive impact. I listened to Rich Dad, Poor Dad audio book
The same way it is possible for people who have psychological disorders to own companies, it is also possible for such individuals to open churches. Sometimes it is also possible for people to pour out their emotions and open up about their life to such "men of cloth" and the consequences will be manipulation using scriptures.
