Hey Rose when I look at you in your beautiful transformation stage I’ve been there cut my hair completely off for many reasons breast fed baby for almost 2yrs & sooo much more but to say the least the other side is amazing in tears writing this because I’m soooo grateful for the experience ,I got judge for everything now they asking how I did it! Rose I’m 59yrs. Young. My babies are 39,35,31. I don’t remember going thru. Any depression behind any of my babies. My daughters did suffer with some depression behind my grand babies. I was surprised about that. Stay positive you’ll be fine.

As women ,having a group,or even just a couple trustworthy friends in your life,to talk to,share with,vent to,get advice from and just joke and laugh with helps our mental health so much. Just being able to have other women to connect with especially living in a house full of males,will be so nice and kind of a little exscape for you.❤ Ive never been one to have alot of women friends but I am involved in church and a womens VBS group at church and I have my female family members in my life that I make a conscious effort to do dinners and girls nights and trips with and since my kids have moved out and left for school its so nice to have them to spend time with and talk to....lol and I know it gives my husband a break to go on fishing trips or just relax without me constantly talking his head off😂❤Im hopefull youll meet some friends there on the island that you connect with and maybe even moms with boys that will be able to make friends with your boys. I know it gets lonely especially being in a new place😊❤

I tell my husband about that all the time. We have 6 and my 5 biologically with him were all back to back I didn’t take the time my body needed and heal fully. I had a hard time after having my last son. He is 3 and I suffered with postpartum depression for almost 2 yrs. I slept all the time and it too a while to get back to me. I’m still working on it.

In a healthy productive relationship people have to be flexible. Roles change. You can't expect a woman and a man to always fill the same role over a 30 yr relationship for example. My parents were married for over 70 years. My dad was the primary breadwinner and my mother kept the house. However she Also worked full time And raised 6 of us!!! Their roles pretty much stayed the same over their whole 70 years of marriage because they liked it that way. If either of them had become unhappy with their role they would have done something diffferent. It depends on the couple. My bf and I together 13 yrs, we both work, and both cook. I do 90 percent if the cleaning and he does the handyman stuff It works for us
