Thank you. Insults may not always be intentional, but they do leave an emotional scar. Insults strike directly at a person's feelings, self esteem, pride and identity. So, no matter why an insult happens or how it happens or when it happens, the truth of the matter is it will leave a scar.

Yes. True but sometimes when the person hurts you many times can you forgive? A envy neighbor who poison your cat inside the cage, castigate for checking the bills, plot the tires of your car , and with threat. It depends but some person who has cruel mind to harm and damage you can you just ignore or just be silent. You must give them a lesson, to know what they are doing to others. Which is harmful. Some boastful person they don't mind, as long they will do what they want, to harm others. I file a case against them.

@@terradactyl7942 - I think controlling emotions in the face of someone who continues to throw "tiny arrows" is just pretending to be above it all. Down under your/my skin , we are /I am still wounded. I know, my mother or someone in my family always said "keep a stiff upper lip" , that's what they did alright, they were stiff lipped puritans. Turn the other cheek! Well, now - our motto should be "want a punch in the nose?"
