bro ty ty ty ty ive been djing sice i was 14 im 35 theres been alot of changes lol your a awesome teacher best way for beginers or pro this rhe channel
🙏🏾 of course. I think it’s super important to understand that this is a marathon and not a race. There’ll be bumps and bruises along the way, but the finish line is there for all of us!
honestly i just started 3 days ago and this video is by far the most helpful thing ive watched so far. I really didnt even think about a lot of these points but now that you said them they seem so obvious please keep it coming cuz you are an amazing teacher
Thank DJ lift off, appreciate your teaching 🙏.I'm having trouble with the left side scratching. Can you make a video on the left side scratching appreciate it thank you
I wanna add that the position of one hand doesn't have to match the other. For my main record hand (left), I hold a low 8 o'clock, and my other hand (right) is a higher 9 o'clock. Same principle applies with the crossfader. Sometimes a new position can help with learning. Definitely helped when I started practicing faster chirps.
Sup, DJ LiftOFF. Ur such an amazing DJ tutor with big patience. I think ur videos already helped some beginners. My advice would be, add some of ur highlight showcase at the top or also the end of ur each video. Post some 30 secs routines as SHORT. It may bring more subscribers to ur channel. Keep it up, im ur fan bro. Cheers.
You’re welcome! And of course!! Some think it’s one of those things you learn in a few weeks but it literally took me years to get super comfortable. Definitely a learning process.
I keep the tension on my fader heavy for speed and endurance. Try playing for an hour with yours far right then adjust it back to your sweet spot, you'll feel the difference. can you do a video on your visual equipment and setup?
You should try and practice with both! For me, I do different techniques better depending on which hand is on the cross fader. My dominant hand is more comfortable on the cross fader but with chirps, and really fast scratching, my dominant hand is better on the platter
Honestly, old me would have said learn it at 3 o’clock but if you’re comfortable scratching at 9 o’clock and it doesn’t stop or hinder you from doing anything, I’d say just stay consistent with that hand positioning!
what song do i listen to when i'm trying to beat match the two do i listen to the one that's going through the master or through the headphones when using a DJ controller when you can't see the BPM do you email you a picture of why I why I can't see the BPM's
Hey djliftoff what song do i listen to when i'm trying to beat match the two do i listen to the one that's going through the master or through the headphones
I've seen lots of different hand positions! Whatever is most comfortable, stick to it and keep grinding! Comfortability and consistency is definitely key 💯
