Another interesting thing to note is that, that pool area was HUGE! It was filled so much that the man of 38 years could not find his way closer to the pool.. And yet when Jesus healed him, we are not told that EVERY Eye turned to him, nor did anyone else cry out to be healed, despite the man of 38 years now up on his feet, which ALL of the others would have seen and have known him, as he was there for 38 years! It's remarkable no?! ❤

@ 19mins Brother Jason NOT looking over "the one" is regarding "the little things", this is GOOD!! What MOST disregard is that, that ONE.. might be the one who is like the 100fold mustard seed that reaches further in areas and circles that you are not in... As you have shared, Our King leaves the 99 for the one and even if that one knows no one to pass on all that is invested in him, Jesus would still heal and save that one. It's worth considering that they who are so invested and have placed all their hope in the wrong basket, it's worth considering who of them WOULD or COULD believe? Coming to the end of self helps one to understand one's need for one who is stronger.. Hoping this makes sense? Without understanding our NEED for The Saviour, why would we ever relent, repent and submit ourselves to his authority in Teaching, leading, saving, transforming, redeeming etc?

@48 mins in its interesting to note that Jesus IS The Lord of The Sabbath and so he, being ALL GOD in the flesh of man displayed his authority as God by not only healing the man ON the Sabbath, but also instructed him as to what to do.. Which the teachers of the law would have seen as a direct assault and challenge against them, as even they understood that ONLY The true Living God can heal and ONLY he commands/instructs... And they understood that ONLY they who HE Chose would be like him, being able to do the same as sons... But they didn't because they weren't his sons nor were they interested in being his sons as it would mean losing or laying down their selfish gain, authority and esteem amungst men to live as a servent vs living as one being served. ❤

I wonder if the mans admission to helplessness from all of his personal angles is maybe what prompted the command to get up. The man didn't question or seem to hesitate.

Hi Brother Jason, I saw something about this situation with the man of 38 years.. It was said that all those people were not Jews but rather those who worshipped idles and gods that are not, so to speak. It was said that the "angel" was considered to be one of the gods that they worshipped, so we are to assume that it was likely to be a fallen one? It's good to note that Jesus didn't heal everyone there, nor did this same man know who Jesus was. It was like I said something I heard.. Actually it was a few days ago... Its an interesting view, but as I have not searched into it, I'm not sure how credible this thought is. Hope this helps. Brother, thank you for your good work❤ The Lord bless you

One last thing brother, the statement that Jesus says.. I believe it's VERY important! It appears to be linked with sinning;the choices, agreements we make with? With others? With wicked/evil influence? Everything that is NOT God is NOT good and makes US to be in rebellion knowingly or unknowingly. I think that this passage is related to our agreement with sin and the invisible forces at work within those agreements,.. It reminds me of other accounts in scripture such as the sons of Sceva, invoking rather than trusting in Jesus.. It reminds me of Simon the sourceror and the story of a house (a soul of man) being cleaned, and then the demons who were cleaned out went around, only to return with 7 more stronger than they and took over that house.. I might be wrong, but these seemed linked?
