THIS!!!! I live with someone who constantly complains that he doesn't know anything about me, that I never open up to him. To me, this translates to, "Hey! You're not giving anything to hold over your head. I can't control you and it frustrates me!"
I understand. In the workplace especially people think someone is weird if they're silent and just doing their work rather than being messy in other mens matters Lol

I keep my mouth shut now, i noticed every time i tell my mom anything, it’s a wrap, she goes and spread the news or whatever i have planned and things tend to fall appart.
yep mine too. She passed on recently and kid you not one of her friends is now showing her true colors and she seems to have the whole intel about us. If there is a monitoring spirit it would be her. l told my sister that it all started with our mom telling our business to everyone and l know sometimes she was coming from a postion of pride having successful children she brought up on her own.
These mothers are passive aggressive and the best thing you can do is keep everything good or bad,to yourself! I had a mother who, because I knew her secrets,she spread nasty stuff about me to anyone who would listen. 😢. So sometimes it's because they're afraid that you will say something to someone about them. It's a pre-emptive strike. Say very little around them. Learn to talk fluff. I had to cut my Mom out of my life for the same reason. I don't what it's called in Psychology but she uses others misfortune to garner sympathy for herself. Anything that has happened to me my entire extended family knows about as well as all her co workers. My Dad was really physically abusive, didn't say much though. I got put in Boy Scouts so I could be around other men who were a better example and I give her props for the intentions there. Well I ended up getting molested by a troop leader that she was having an affair with for 4 years they let me live with him from 8-12. I was on Ritalin since I was 5 and after the molesting they put me on Prozac and other things like Lithium, had a lot of drug problems from 13 to 25, just quit drinking 2 years ago, 44 now. So everyone I knew already knew all my secrets, it was so humiliating and shameful, I'll never forget. Even if you told her "Mom this is a secret, please don't tell anyone or Dad especially. Within the hour here comes Dad with the belt to beat you for something you thought he wouldn't know. One time I was 5 or so and had dug a small hole in the back yard with a little hand scoop, he kicked me in the ass with the tip of his cowboy boot then smacked me in the head with a broomstick. Never will forget that. Sorry for TMI, but my therapy is telling it, not keeping it in anymore, even if it's to strangers, which makes it easier because I know I'll never see you all so you can't judge me. I never got any therapy, just jail time so the first time I told someone was in jail and it lifted such a burden that I literally could breathe better, so this helps.

Wow, this just happened to me! As you explained that when you share something with someone and you feel it is a done deal, it suddenly collapses. Ugh! I thought I understood how monitoring spirits operate, but the way you explain it helps me understand so much better. I have become much more careful over the years about sharing things with people, especially goals and plans. But realizing that certain people are portals to their activity gave me a really helpful visual illustration. I pray that God will restore the opportunity that I just lost because I realize I shared it with someone I shouldn't have at the last minute when I thought it was safe 🙏
The pastor did not mean to say families are bad. These things happened out of their knowledge and intentions. In his explanation he illustrated that the devil may install portals on your family members so that he can listen to your plans and conversations about the future then he goes forward to disrupts them before you can even know. As you pray for yourselves don't forget to pray for your families, they will also pray for you. A united front is always stronger
Learn to move in silent, when they ask you about something you shared with them before, just say you moved on. Short answers , never explain. And change the subject or answer with a question. Redirect the question at them . They will leave alone.
You are most definitely right,, because a elder once told me sometimes you have to play hush your mouth.you don't have to always speak on how you feel. And that's what I fight to this day because I don't sugar coat nothing it is what it is. I feel children play grown folks for real I'm my biggest downfall
Oh Lord, have mercy on me and my children. My mother refused to pay for my CXC's subjects after my teachers told her that I was selected to do 7 subjects. She said, " I wouldn't achieve anything because my father, aunty, and sister did". I told her that's not true. I told her that I will have my qualifications, house, my business get married and have all my children with my husband. I have studied so hard, worked meet good man and planned to get married. Yet it's so hard where ever I turn.

Do you know Why we shared it because the things from God can’t be hide! First we heard something inacceptable in the moment we don’t knew how can that happen;2 you shared with peoples you are together in your life and you love without to knowing later they will come ennemis.
