I've been testing these settings out on my Classic 46mm. Some of these I had set but after setting it up with these changes got me from barely a day to just over two days which is awesome! Thanks again for these tips.

Thank you. My watch is 3 months old and I was about to take it back to samsung and say it's broken. Luckily I youtube'd first! This past month my battery barely lasted 2 hours. I used all your tricks and my battery is lasting 2 full days! Insane!!! Thank you soooooo much. You saved my watch!

THANK YOU‼️ I love this smart watch, I was going NUTS with the battery life. I came off of a Fitbit Tracker that lasted a week before a charge. Everything you laid out has worked. I was ready to sell it, with all the extra bands and case covers I bought, I was so disappointed in the battery life. Thanks again‼️ From a Senior that likes gadgets, and likes to keep up.

I've enjoyed all of your videos on the gw4. One thing I have done to preserve battery life on my watch is to limit notifications to only the most essential eg. SMS, WhatsApp and calender. Anything else such as emails, Instagram and Twitter I can just check on my phone. This saves the watch receiving a constant stream of unnecessary data draining the battery.

@@sampsalol at the moment I get 2-3 days. I don't wear it overnight - I put it in sleep mode. During the day I keep it in power saving mode and use it to check the time (obviously), make payments with Google wallet, see who's calling me, reply to a few texts, check the weather once in a while and use the Google assistant to set timers or get information from the internet quickly. I find that for anything else like emails, browsing the web, listening to music it's easier to use my phone.

@@marknoble7537 Your usage sounds just like mine. My issue is that I currently have a Huawei Watch GT and while it doesn't do payments or Google assistant, the battery does last easily 10 days..

2.3k likes, definite sub. I've had the watch for a few months now and my biggest battery saver is to turn off the tilt to wake feature. I work with my hands and I found it always turning on when I wasn't even looking at it. I get about 1.5-2 days of battery and that's with LTE on and not in Power saver mode. I think I'll get about 3 days after just those few changes! 👍🏾👍🏾

I hate mine and on battery saver mode it is far worse than active 2 and even Gal watch.. It literally in one day drained full battery.(again battery saver mode".

@@Nicole-ho8he mine is in for repair as the battery was lasting less than 1 day..recently 12 hours and I charged to 100% and would not turn on, Samsung got my watch this morning.. Basically from new it was the worse Samsung watch battery combination. Both my Galaxy Watch and Active 2 last longer and Active far longer.

May I add, if some of yall forgot your charger, Samsung phones have a great feature to share power between wireless charging devices. That includes your watch. Will work only with Samsung phones that can be wirelessly charged of course.

I've watched several videos about battery life and was very frustrated because I felt like nothing was helping. Then you suggested turning off LTE 🤯. Can't believe I didn't think of that. I only got LTE because the watch was free from my provider. You aren't he only one to suggest it and it's only needed when your phone is at home. Thanks bruh.

I just got mine a couple of days ago and I was concerned about how fast the battery was draining. I knew part of it was the animated watch face, but I had most of what you did to turn off turned on. Hopefully now I'll make through a 12 hour shift without having to switch to power saving mode. Thank you.

If you always have LTE mode on ot will drain your battery as well as overheating becouse it is running on the 1.18Ghz chip which is inside of the watch running all the time, but if you have your watch conected to a phone, it will use your phone to access to all the futures. Hope this clears up the things but I knoe that I am 4 months late but I hope this helps!

I've found that the Google Fit watch face has the best battery life I have a REALLY old Asus Zenwatch 2, and i can still get 2 days out of the battery if i disable the always on display, and have 'twist wrist to wake' turned off I dont even need to use power saving mode or turn off bluetooth/wifi Now, i am still waiting for a solar assisted smart watch, even though i have this Asus Zenwatch 2. I am still rocking my 12 year old Cassio GW9200-1 I have never needed to change the battery, because the battery is always at 100% Now, if watches started adding batteries into the watch bands it might make it better with 2 week+ battery life with heavy use, but i like never having to charge anything

My battery lasts 2 days with a bright watch face, i dont like dark mode. I also dont use gestures as i dont get calls often. Heart rate is at measure every 10 mins also.

Yo I have the 42mm version. Does it have a adjustment period time on first uses for the battery life? Mine is draining fully on half a day (one afternoon) drains about 10% in 1 hour without even being used. I got all health sensors turned off, manual mode only, got a very simple watch face with only time and date and all black. I dunno what's going on, I got only a few days left to be able to return it. Do I have a faulty unit?

Also give your battery a few cycles too. The best new feature I like on the GW4 that the active 2 doesn't do, is give me a photo preview on my watch when my security cameras go off. I LOVE that! Ok what app monitors the heart rate cuz i had it to measure continuously and the drain wasn't bad at all it had 0.4% on health service and 0.8% on samsung health (I'm assuming it's one of those) in 9h
