don’t take pictures of your dead great ones, guys. theres a small chance it glitches and you can no longer harvest it. this happened to me, i lost my second ever great one to that glitch

Lady, thanks so much!! I just watched your guide, found 2 drink zones I'd never suspected existed (in dead-center of the map), just went to discover them... and a Legendary and Mythical were both there! I am stunned, and left the Legendary alone to herd manage. I've been GO grinding there for 6+ months, so far I'm at 13 Diamond Red Deers but 0 GO's. I thought my herd mgmt tactics were sound, but you gave a few tips that'll improve my efficiency. I'm just shaking my head laughing, thought I had it all figured out... and a Legendary and 2 drink zones were just there the whole time unknown. God bless you and this funny game 😂😅

I have been running a Red Deer grind since you started your Medved Taiga moose grind. No great one so far but I think this video will help! Best kill so far is a max weight diamond.

What worked for me was using ALL my zones, I would kill 2 of the biggest in each of those zones but I wouldn't try to force diamond spawns or small spawns in specific areas because the way I did it also eliminated the hunting pressure in my zones that had the biggest ones. The funniest thing is my WORST zone, where my littlest guys were had a diamond spawn in it today. I killed a 3 for reindeer and it spawned a 5 diamond xD. Medved for example, the entire north west corner of the map where that mountain is and that long shore line, I just put a tent, downed 1-2 of the biggest in each zone all in a straight line following around that mountain and along the shore, go back to tent, reset time, repeat. I didn't worry about sizes specifically just did 1-2 of the biggest I could find regardless of rank.

So what im getting out of this is you find all your zones, then pick 16 zones with good herds and atleast 2 deer that are 5 and up. The zones that are open (10) are your stacking zones and the zones (that still have good herds) that arent open you make exterior (6). Once your original 6 exterior zones no longer have any 5s you pull your tents and put them on any other zone in the whole map that have any 5s and you keep doing this until your original 10 are infested with 9s and every other zone on the map has no 5s or bigger. The questions I have are, 1. You only shoot a solo zone if its a 6 or bigger? Does that mean if I am finding my zones and theres a 7 solo I can shoot it even though im still discovering zones? 2. By the end of this you are going to have eventually made every single zone on the map besides the 10, a exterior? 3. What do you do if I have my 10 infested with 9s and every single other zone on the map shot down to 4-'s but there is no GO? Shoot all the 9s?

Bit late to this but I think my greatest red deer to date is either a diamond or a 50/50 that is supposed to make diamond but didn’t (they make diamond almost all the time (the specific rack))

shooting the 2 biggest does not make sense to me , you want to shoot the smallest shooters , keeping the biggest on the map helps spawn smaller ones. even the big shooters will help spawn smaller ones.

I’m doing my first attempt on a great one whitetail once all zones are found do you have to shoot down each zone 1 time a day for the species your grinding for or can I keep resetting the time after I’ve shot down 2 or 3 deer from each zone

What you’re calling “exterior zones” could that just be zones you don’t like to hunt or do you literally mean work your way around the perimeter to get the big deer into the middle of the map?

All of the red deer zones that are not the main 8 shooting zones are "exterior zones." Yes the zones you don't like to hunt, etc

Must I colect ALL my red deers I shoot in my grind to get the respawns? Because this would save me some time. Should I shoot a 100% Dia which is in a solo zone... I didn't understand that part with the solos well, maby you could make a seperate video for them? Thanks for your great videos!

You should try to pick up the majority of your kills. The ones you don't pick up, do not help you spawn the Great One. Doesn't hurt you. Just doesn't help. EW changed the coding.

I felt this way too. Just set up tents on a few lakes that have a nice size herd that has 2 bucks. Shoot level 6 and above and you'll begin to see the bigger trophies spawn in eventually

I got a 5 fallow deer but when I killed it I traveled to the tent next to it and it floated in the water and I couldn’t get it

when you kill an animal and it falls into the lake, it floats back to you

It floats to where you were when you took the shot. If, while it's floating, you change the time forward by one minute, your kill will either show up on the shore (stop floating) or it will start floating directly to you and not to where it was shot

I am currently a couple months into a red deer grind on Te Awaroa and as of right now I have 45 diamonds from this grind so far, As well as a few rares! I can definitely say this works! Thanks for the guide. I’ve been grinding red deer ever since I got the game. I’ve got about 2000-4000 kills, but I think more so 2000. I’ve got about 8 or 9 diamonds, 0 Melanistic, about 3 piebald females, 2 piebald males (yesterday an 8 mythical piebald) and about 2 female albinos. I don’t know if I should have more than this but oh well, still havnt got the great one but however a heap of 8 mythicals are spawning in, as much as 3 in one zone. This is happening all around my map. Keep up your amazing content ❤❤❤❤

Can you offer some cmments on how to setup Pukemaro? I put a tripod down near the otupost, but to have any LOS to those 2 NZ's I get detected by the two need zones at that end of the lake before I get in position. The other NZ's are quite far down the lake, puzzeling and hope you have some guidance?

As many that spawn until all of your exteriors are shot down. It’s not about the number. Once everything is small at exteriors, no need to stack anymore.

How do u know how many of a species total kills u have? I cant seem to find the exact numbers, been doing a red deer grind emeral coast for along time, had up to one 9 legendary but no fabled. Unsure of how many red deer total kills Ive had?

You have to keep track yourself. I used to use a tally counter from amazon but now I use an app for my streamdeck. You can also get digital counter apps

Hey lady great video as always! My best red deer kill is a max weight 270.7 red deer and I’m about to start another red deer grind. I’m currently 2578 kills into my fallow grind and my fallow grind right before this was 3653 kills lol my luck with them is very bad. Good luck with the grind!

I used this method and i got down to 5s being my highest level on the map, i started to shoot the 5s, got some diamonds and then i lowerd the level of my deers to 4s on the whole map. What should i do? 😂😂 Thanks for the video, you are the best!

I currently have at total of 10 Level 9 Legendary's. 4 Legendary stacked on 1 lake and 6 more Legendary on other lakes. I have only been shooting Levels 6 -8 up to this point. Should I continue to stack 9's or start shooting them to help spawn the great one?

I switched to Te Awaroa to grind fallow after I got my great one on Layton Lakes. The AR 300 is making short work of the fallows. After I get my fallow great one then I'm going to grind on the red deer. I never shot any solos on Layton, most of them were smalls. I didn't even kill all my diamond before the great one spawned. I hope the fallows work out the same.

No problem with these grind. What if you’re just making grind to develop great ones all the time what’s the fun of playing the game and looking and searching for regular animals just like there’s no fun I appreciate all the information that you give like DD 33 or so and all the rest of the people that post but go check the front out of his regular hunting through the game and discovery these things as it posted us wind up happening I’m a hunter, not a herder but I’m not judging continue doing what you do
