Add water methanol injection, once intake manifold is removed properly cleaned. You’ll have a chemically cooled and cleaned engine. Personally, I’ve got a single 32cc ( smallest available) nozzle set up from prometh in the states. Entire intake manifold is still looking brand new after 100k. 70/30 water, methanol. Mix.
I just removed my swirl flaps on 4jj1 d-max (screws are known to come loose and get sucked into intake valves/piston etc) after 73k km. The soot was about 3mm thick on the sides. Get those egrs switched the hell off boys!! Also get a catch can as PCV is pretty disgusting too.
Changing my glow plugs now at 225,000 kms. 2004 model. Just took throttle body off. Wow, a lot cleaner than in these videos, inlet manifold a little bit more dirtier just like in this video. Cleaned it out, looks great. Typing this whilst video on with his inspection camera. Will do this in a minute on mine. My 2 cents worth. Good luck with yours. Back to work on mine now !
hi boss,if that manifold as dirty as that what will be the performance of ur car? what's the function of the manifold in an engine?sorry i ask u this coz i'm not familiar of an engine.
@@Fourby4Dieselold comments and video but facing simolar scenario, there’s no separated intake manifold on my ford duratorq diesel and while I cleaned everything I could I suspect there’s still plenty of crap inside, hoping water/meth with small valve will slowly clean it up. Stage 4 for sure
