Yes, they help. I’m living proof. I had Lyme, CIRS, Marcons, EBV, Chronic Fatigue syndrome, Adrenal Fatigue, and the list goes on. When the immune system gets wiped out, the body cannot fight and heal. It has to have help with getting to optimum performance.

@@jl8686 I did “Meyers Cocktail” IVs and glutathione pushes in to the IV after Meyers. I had auto immune deficiency and had to have the IVs frequently! I needed the high doses of supplements etc. Part of the help with glutathione was detoxing. Hope this helps some. Hope you’re okay. ? 🙂

@@Strongernurse when I first started out I did 2...may have been three a week In the first couple of weeks. Then, two a week...I did one every week for a while. Then, one every couple weeks etc. Of course, I was doing binders every day for months (when I first started the binders, my functional med doctor had me do three binders a day. It was hard to do around all the supplements and stuff my doctor had me doing all throughout the day so I had to do my third binder at 2:30-3:00am. I eventually went down to one binder a day. It’s certainly a journey...it can be scary. Try to stay positive though and believe in your mind and heart that the things you’re doing WILL help. It really does make a difference. Try to watch uplifting things when your body and mind can handle it and listen to good soothing music. I also used far infrared sauna... I forgot to mention ozone therapy and the oxygen machine too (I’ve forgotten how to explain these). I was exposed to mold again in Nov and then got covid in December. I had to start treatment and IVs again..🙄

Listen just eating and being on a diet doesn't do shit because now a days all food has a bunch of chemicals and all those chemicals that we take will affect our bodies in other ways, so yea you could be eating healthy which is great but you are also adding chemicals to your body and we all need Vitamins and Vitamins going straight to your blood is easier then taking pills and waiting for them to start working by taking effect in our body.

Probably won’t get a response but I was wondering I’m deficient in vitamin D now if I had a vitamin D IV drip with that kind of boost up my levels at least temporarily until some of the pill form vitamins can start to work i’m curious how they compare typically when you take a pill you would excrete a good amount of that in your urine does it also somehow flush out of your blood in so many days meaning that it wouldn’t have any type of a long-term effect? Kind of wondering whether it might even have some beneficial effect in the short term as I am so deficient that I’m displaying many symptoms of vitamin D deficiency.

Vit D is a hormone and we don't give Vit D IV or IM. You should get your levels checked. A normal Viv D level should be between 50-100. If it's under 30 your MD can give you an RX of 50,000 International Units to take once a week. You should also take 5,000 IU daily.
@tammygonzalez9313
@tammygonzalez9313 3 года назад
Yes, what he said...my doctor gave me a prescription for 50,000 Vit D3 and I take 20,000 and 10,000 alternating. I take them before bed btw, I find it helps me sleep...
@maddyhappy4712
@maddyhappy4712 3 года назад
@@tammygonzalez9313 That's great Tammy! I would repeat the levels in 4-6 months. The 50,000IUs are typically only given for a total of 3 months. So continue to take a daily dose. You want to prevent osteoporosis, tooth decay or tooth loss. It also directly affects mood and weight. Good Vit D levels help with immune system as well.

You don’t need this if you’re hydrated and healthy. I passed out after coming home from a major surgery and EMS gave me a bag of fluids hard and fast (BP cuff pumped up on bag to make it quicker because they said I looked like death) and it was INSANE how quick I went from slurred speech feeling like I was going to die to talking their heads off and feeling so much better! But I had a hypovolemic syncope episode and desperately needed to replenish fluid in my body from blood loss from surgery. if you’re healthy I can’t see it doing much.
