I find all of this very troubling. Victory is not a goal of our military leaders. They say it is, but you cannot win against a decentralized force with a centralized military apparatus. Furthermore, if we can have no victory on the battlefield is this even worth calling a war. If we are not defending our LAND and freedom is it a moral battle?
