Ring the Belle is shaking things up heading into our third year! Starting this week we will be doing a LIVE review of all the women’s actions on WWE, NXT, and AEW every Saturday. This interactive format will be replacing our weekly review episodes. We will however continue the same review format for all PPV reviews as well as spend more time creating interviews, Top 5s, collabs, and more fun videos you love. We thank you so much for helping us grow as the destination for women’s wrestling fans for last two years. And we will continue to evolve with this new sustainable format. On a personal note, this change will make running the channel way more sustainable for me. It’s been honestly rough editing 3-4 videos a week for RTB on top of my fulltime job, going to bed 2-3am most days of the week for two years. But I’m determined to keep growing the channel. I’m so mad them for splitting up The IIconics makes no sense at all . If they wanted to push one of them solo (most likely Peyton) they could have easily kept them together while pushing one solo for a little like they do with The New Day or other male teams for example . Hell when they were in NXT Peyton was being pushed in titles matches while still with Billie . It makes no sense to disband them completely.
Right??? They can push Peyton while they're still a team like how they pushed Michelle and Nikki Bella when they were still in they're respective teams
@@InjuredLionBoxing they said the same about Maxine, Emma, Eva Marie, Mandy Rose, Lacey Evans and now Peyton. I don't believe it anymore, it's just another stupid decision IMO.
the break up of the iconics was about of peyton royce having a big solo push but felt bad for billie kay cause i think wwe has no plan for her🥺 and her days are numbered now💔
I get why they would split The IIconics due to Vince wanting to give Peyton a singles push. Maybe they could’ve kept them together like how they gave Kofi Kingston a singles push with the New Day by his side. But after Raw last night, that’s one less team in the tag division on the main roster as all the other teams have either been broken up or are on the verge of breaking up (i.e. Sasha/Bayley and Shayna & Nia-since they aren’t gonna last long either). The division would thrive even more if the belts circulate to NXT.
Iconics better not be over they were the funniest people ever together what billie lacks in the ring peyton makes up and what peyton lacks on the mic billie makes up for.
@@me3105 don't get me wrong, I would love to see Naomi get more opportunities to prove herself and that's completely different from saying I want her to be SD women's champ. The belt is not a participation trophy, it's meant for the best of the best and for the past months Sasha & Bayley have been the hottest act on TV so the title would be elevated more from their feud than if used as a tool to prop someone up.
Auto generate, maybe they could do something like: After Sasha takes the title from Bayley, Naomi could get a push and earn the title. Then maybeeeeee, someone like Dana, Carmella, Lacey, or someone like that could take the title from Naomi and maybe they could have a feud.

Honestly, I'm kinda OK with The Iiconics breaking up, they could just exploit a loophole in kayfabe saying that "Well, it never says that Billie can't be Peyton's manager" because, as it's been said, Peyton is the better wrestler but Billie is by far the better entertainer, hell, all Billie as a manager needs to do is big boot the hell out of Peyton's opponents and stuff like that. Also, I genuinely have not like Nia this much since her Royal Rumble appearance at 2019, her being this super obnoxious and overbearing asshole works so much better for her than any other thing they've done with her. I never thought I'd end up liking a thrown together duo of Nia and Shayna, but here we are.

I can't believe she said that tag match was sloppy. Like almost every podcast called it MOTN and most of them weren't even interested in it at first. That match was absolutely fantastic from start to finish imo

I'm happy the way Sasha and Bayley lost the Titles, putting over Shayna so strong and now I'm glad they decided to accelerate Sasha vs Bayley. Truly looking forward to that.
I love how DS and Paloma usually have different opinions on most things but both still very respectful of the other’s opinion and able to articulate their own opinion really well and give great justification for it. (I gotta say I usually agree with DS but I totally understand Paloma’s arguments because she articulated it really well)
I have mixed feelings on the iiconics split as well. Love those girls, they are hilarious, and deserved better as a team and champions. BUT I’m also excited to see what they do in singles runs. I think you’re right, I feel I’ve seen news that Peyton is supposed to receive the larger push and I know everyone loves her newer finisher. But when Billie nails it, and is paired with someone who knows how to sell it, I’ve always thought the Shades of Kay is cool and could be built as devastating! Could just be that I love the look of the yakuza kick though lol On a third hand (hah), there’s so many power players and female stories being told that I hope they don’t both get “pushed” straight to the back.
i too am livid for the iiconics, but im interested to see their singles run, also happy for nia, shayna. Asuka when the mic didnt work on commentary, I was dying haha
I really hope they treat Billie well as a singles wrestler, it makes me nervous that they’ll treat her like they treated Jillian because she’s funny. Billie is fantastic on the mic so I hope they give her great opportunities to shine like they did with Alexa 🥺
I don't mind the change at all. Keep up the amazing work. :3 The whole IIconics situation is kind of sad. I was hoping for a second Tag Title run. Especially since they're such an amazing team. And their first run was kinda shitty, short, and disappointing. :/ At least Bayley and Sasha FINALLY lost the title. Random thought: Every time I hear Paloma speak, I have a clear picture of Melina in my head. :o ♥ Can't wait for Saturday. Stay healthy. :D
I’m so angry the IIconics lost over Liv and Ruby! The IIconics in my opinion, are one of the best tag teams and they’ve never argued besides Billie slapping Peyton in May, besides that they are more compatible and they’ve been a team longer than the Riott Squad, plus before the match, Ruby and Liv did have a storyline where they were rivals so it’s not clicking in my mind! Sorry for ranting lol just had to get that off my chest
Part of me doesn't think that Peyton and Billie are necessarily breaking up. I think maybe "The IIconics" had to break up but they'll come back with a new name or something.
Here my thing WWE splitting up IIconics (Allegedly) cause Vince wants solo push for Peyton Royce. I think we all know what's gonna happen look what they did with Liv Morgan. They split Riot Squad up to give Liv a singles push that went no where and she barely if not at all challenged for any Titles. What I see happening they'll pretend for like a month or 2 like they'll push Peyton Royce then get bored and start making her jobber again then they'll either put IIconics back together or release them both from their contracts. Honestly it makes no sense to split up IIconics unless WWE trying purposely disband all the women's tag team so they can use excuse not enough tag teams for the Women's Tag Division which is damn shame cause I wanted these tag team titles for years now we finally got them WWE not even booking the division right.
Hahaha, I loved too the hole NIA MOOD, she's great, and I wasn't sure about her and Shaynya teaming up, but now I think I really like it. 💙 Pd. And I know you didn't talked about Mickie and Nathie storyline, but I think that thing is being so forced.
I love the Iiconics, but maybe WWE *did* tap into all of their potential? What is left for them? It's not like they're both known for having 5 star tag matches; so what's there to look forward to in another tag title run? Maybe they both have relied on each other too much for too long and this split will force them to up their individual game? Which was stated by Paloma in the video.
I'll be honest: Shayna and Nia looked good because Sasha and Bayley are good at making people look like a million bucks. I'm not convinced they will look as good against, say, Riott Suad 2.0
So now we juat have one woman's tag team on the main roster and i doubt nia and shayna are going down to nxt anytime soon so are we just going to get riott squad vs shayna and nia for the next 5 months
I’m sorry not to be so negative but I honestly haven’t been into these storylines since Charlotte left. She the only woman who can be a temporarily feud and make it good, I personally haven’t connected with anyone else. I think the WWE put their foot in their mouths going against the Queen cuz no one had yet to step up in a big way.
It really sucks that they'd break up the IIconics at the same time, they'd waste the titles on Jax and Baszler. They need real teams in the women's division, not two randomly put together singles people who are going to break up and feud, anyway. And the worst part is that Shayna and Nia are not going to lose to anyone they don't have a major story going on with, so it just means any team they are going to fight is just going to get buried. With Sasha and Bayley, it was believable that anyone could beat them. Now, it has basically thrown the women's division into the bin until they lose the titles. Absolutely love that the Riott Squad look like a cohesive unit. I have been hating Liv not looking like she fits with Ruby for weeks. It is a huge improvement with the plaid. Plus, you forgot that Ruby had added the PVC from Liv to her pants.
In the KO Show they did mention that even though they were friends again there was still that unsure if they should trust each other. They said that it was going to be different than it was before. Now on Raw Talk last night they mentioned again that the Riott Squad is different this time, and maybe not entirely the Riott Squad in name
