I am grateful for your institute as a source for learning about India and Hindu traditions. Just beginning to dive into your programmes.

Incredibly necessary and enlightening. The depth of study is beyond what I have ever heard. Non Hindus can benefit greater than Hindus themselves. Most Hindus are satisfied to remain cultural Hindus and nothing more.

Such a valuable and remarkable contribution towards holistic and progressive learning of Hinduism. I have taken 2 online courses from OCHS and they were intellectually stimulating and very satisfying. My appreciation increased manifold towards the philosophy, teachings and entire tradition.

What a wonderful talk. I have long wanted to enroll. Now I’ve retired, woohoo…. Soon I’ll be able to take a class or 2. It was a motivational talk for me, thank you.

I have always wondered why at the time of independence,India began looking westwards, especially concerning education in general & failed to discover the amazing & complex culture of the land,& teach it properly to the youngsters!?Perhaps, this is very simplistically expressed

How and who will be funding this study at Oxford? Is it directly the university or is it organization that is donating/funding for this cause?

*Hinduism had greater scope* *of debate and discussions* *on Spiritual topics even* *Upanishad are result of that* for that we need ascetic scholars deep thinkers , not just subtle explanations from all paths like Bhakti , Gyan , karma Yogas. we don't have commandments , every hindu can self learn and find his path to salvation or moksha.

It’s good that there is an initiative to do this but is it done for the right reasons? Harvard has the same type of setup yet they do a lot of work towards defaming Hinduism and create atrocity literature.

Dear Sir, I have been on the HDS/CSWR site many times and have never encountered any defaming of Hinduism nor any other Religion; Only respect. I'm sorry if you experienced anything different - surely it's not typical at all.

Nice talk 👍. Please continue to focus on the (rigorous) academic study of the foundational texts of Hinduism. I think the center should be more narrow as regards the areas it chooses to focus on. Rather than practices, customs, arts, etc., I think the focus should be on texts. 🙏
