Great video, by the way. This is something we all struggle with. Sometimes it's really hard to distinguish between what your ego wants and what your soul wants. It's really a gray area if you think about it. Let's say you want money, right? You might think that's an ego desire, but it goes both ways. If you have more money, you can help more people. You don't always have to make it about yourself. The same goes for having more subscribers or being more popular. Yes, it's for the ego at first. But it doesn't have to be. You can reach a wider audience, thereby helping more people. You get my point-every coin has two sides. Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic week ahead.
Great comment. That's exactly what I was worrying that people would misinterpret from this video hahaha. No one can judge whether one's desires are ego or soul-focused, but the person in question themselves. So yes - anything, even the most materialistic of desires, can also be soul-focused. Like... having money means you can care for people in your life better, provide for those who can't provide for themselves, etc etc. Even if that means using that money to take more time off, recharge and maybe give back to the community. So yeah, there's nothing wrong with desiring anything in particular, just as you say :) You too!
