Incredible conversation 👌🏽 I often say, that: Love, in its very nature, is elevating. Think about the work of the cross, how when we were dead in our sins, Christ (out of love) took our place, to restore us back to the image of God. Love can’t help but elevate! And maybe that should be the litmus test on how to know that you truly love someone - if your proclivity is to get them to the best version of themselves.
Brilliant conversation. I won't lie since I started watching the Makhs installment I am somewhat more gentle, caring with my husband and since I changed my husband actually treats me like a queen 👑. He elevates me at all times and it something I'm still not use to but I'm sure I will grow into it. Love you guys. Keep up the good work Mr & Mrs Makhs
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 this is what’s it’s about. Literally got goosebumps from your comment. Thank you so much Bridgette for journeying with us. We appreciate you so much♥️
"You know I used to beat that block Now I be's the block (partner let me upgrade you) I hear you be the block, but I'm the lights that keep the streets on" ... I had to highlight this line in the song Mrs Makhs mentioned.
First of all the Makhs also elevate us! When you spoke about the English thing I was like lol you guys have elevated my eloquence as well. But going deeper Phetola’s gracefulness , the way your love on each other and how your lives are centred around Christ ? Hayi you guys have upgraded my life.
I began to follow you mid last year and i have since had very different perspectives about marriage with the Godly insights in your conversations. I love how you put emphasis on communication and i am finding myself seeing a different vision about marriage.
So so so refreshing to experience a young black couple that advocates for what real marriage should be about. You're truly inspirational ❤. God Bless You
5 minutes into it and I would looooooooove to have a sit down or a day spent with the 2 of you. I'm addicted, literally obessed. I truly, truly love your content.
When Lerato jokingly says "hai wena!?"🤭 I laughed so hard when I watched "A SAFE BET" and there was a scene where you said it. I knew that was probably off script😂🤣😄
Thank you so much for the consistency and the amazing, teaching and learning content. And the way you thank your audience for engaging doesn’t sound rehearsed or anything like that. Y’all so genuine. Everytime you express that gratitude I wish you guys knew how truly grateful we all are as well to be a part of the Dream Team. God bless you guys abundantly! ♥️
Thank you so much sis! We look forward to giving you content each and every time, every video is like our first one😄♥️. Thank you for the love, for the support and for choosing us♥️. We Love you!
I think I know the video you are talking about Mr Makhs, from the guy with "the school of life"...i actually avoided it for a very long time because the title scared me, but one day I gathered the conviction and it talks about how as people we are imperfect and how we are always looking for perfection in our relationships and our partners and when they don't deliver perfection then we go on to think "well it's this person, maybe they aren't right for me"
This was such a great conversation hey. Even for us unmarried people, alot if not everything you both said coild be applied in our relationships so we can have even better marriages. Thank you for that. Thoroughly enjoyed❤️
Such a great conversation! Brilliant! Sooo important to elevate one another. My prayer is that this installment and the other great conversations spread far and wide!!💕
oh man, so many things to take away from this installment. Cannot wait for the interesting conversations with my partner that were triggered by listening to the Maks
Guys please consider hosting a marriage seminar, or couples seminar , a luncheon, a gala dinner or something! I would love definitely love to attend something like that. I think it would encourage my husband to open up more... Teach him that it's okay for a man to be vulnerable. My husband really likes to suppress his feelings and suffer in silence till he has found a solution as a man. Maybe you can do a video on why men do this and how couples can handle this.
Heellllllllllllooooooooo dream team. Its your girl, madam class captain. Newly appointed chair. 🎓 Here we subscribe. Like before watching. Keep the comments coming and hit that notification bell. Re le rata rati. Ka lerato la love. So share share share share!!!!!!! Dont keep this to yourself.
@Lerato Watch that video bro, for a rather secular outlook, Alain De Botton has quite a few solid pointers (not that you need it by the way). That video helped calm my anxiety about a very special lady. Making those few distinctions helped me alot I must say.
Love your show guys. Always inspiring and you can tell by your body language that you are honest and living out what you preach. May God continue to bless your union 🙏❤️❤️❤️
Wow, mind blowing lessons! My partner's nakedness is my nakedness too! I've gotta intentionally elevate my partner. Thank you Mr and Mrs Makhs for sharing your thoughts with us, they are of great value!
So much wisdom guys... I have learnt a lot from this installment. Im not a very verbal person i felt so bad the other day when my partner said he feels like I dont support him much he had a business idea a s bw pitched it to me i liked it but i ddnt encourage him and support as I was supposed to as his partner now this takes me back that i ddnt elevate him nd I felt so bad. Thanks fr this podcast im going back kobmo motho waka ko mo elevator to the next level...much much guys ❤️
I must say its not easy when your partner complain a lot and constantly brings the negative and yet We are bound to them for Life it impacts deeply on the partner doing the lifting. To let them be with their attitude Is not an option Thank you so much with this topic we are inspired to do better than yesterday Lord give Grace to love unconditionally.
Yeah so excited to hear from you i watch you guys so much i have watched twice if not thrice all your instalments and i share like crazy love from Uk. Missing the Makhs Snr too i love you guys.
My Precious Lord and Savior, teach me how to love my husband the way You love him🙏 this is so profound ❤️💖❤️ Thank you Phetola and Lerato💛 Thank yo, God bless you
Im half way through and i have had to pause and reflect on almost all that you have said. Very deep lessons here! Thank you for challenging and teaching us❤️🙏👏
You can even write down those wrong sad,bad things about you and your partner it doesn’t matter if it’s on one paper or y’all both split then sit down read through those papers and see how you can help each other to better them.
u guys are just soo amazing. u both carry sooooooo much wisdom , looking 4ward to the next vid, your podcast is really leading me towards the right path
Inspiring. You can try hosting or doing content together with another youtuber who has the same views of life as you. You both gain as your audience increases, as in you exchange subscribers.
😂😂😂 we always have that moment where Mr M says something funny before we wrap up and if you are aware it’s now normalised 😂😂there is no way we could wrap without this moment lol nice one on that note Issa wrap Fam ♥️
I like the point Phetola made that marriage was designed to make us better people... Lots of points to support that statement in the Bible... E.g: Eccl 4:9,10: "Two are better than one... For if one of them falls, the other can help his partner up. But what will happen to the one who falls with no one to help him up?"
