You can feel the absolute struggle Subaru is going through complimenting Julius. Julius isn't a bad guy and helped Subaru a lot, but that 1st encounter really left rocky impressions on both of them.

Wow, A year has passed between season's 2 & 3 and already our favorite couple have a kid, Subaru must've finally taught Emilia the birds and the bees properly, with a little hands on education...JK I know Beako ain't their kid, she's Subaru's new familiar. Though I do love this dynamic of Subaru and Mili being a couple and Beatrice basically acting like Subaru's little sister (despite her technically being older than him, actually make that both Beako and Mili technically being older than him)
