I do the same as Danielle does if you decide you don’t want an item in your cart. I’ve heard horror stories where people have left frozen food in an aisle where it doesn’t belong. The storet employee will put the item back in the frozen section even if it was fully defrosted. Cold items left at cashier’s area are often restocked to it’s place after it is warm or defrosted. Many people were getting sick around the holidays. People unknowingly buying food that went warm or defrosted then put back in the cooler or freezer. It was real prevalent during the bad COVID times when food god real scarce.
