OMG!!! I am 53yrs old and i have NEVER in my life seen spring onions or peppers, the size you have, also the colours are so vibrant. TY for the upload, i will definetly be trying this , even though i have to use such small fresh produce. xx
I always peel spuds before l boil them. Much easier than fiddling about with them when they're hot. This looks good, must try it. Never seen triangle cheese added to mashed potatoes before, nor eggs into minced beef. I add chopped soup celery to minced beef, but l'm not sure if it's available outside Northern Ireland. It's yum.

So delicious looking & reminds me of my childhood (a LONG time ago) about my Mom's version of Shepherd's Pie, made with ground beef, & one of our Father's favorites... Your presentation is so homey & comforting... *: )*
Thank you for this most delicious recipe which it is, just by seeing the ingredients used. I will make it but will stay away from any oil, and instead use butter, beef tallow or lard.
First it's a Shepard pie...No need egg with meat nor oil in the pan, there's enough GREAS in the meat! Me I put one can of corn niblets mix with one can of corn cream (must have at least 1/2 inches of the mix corn can so if you have a 9X13 pan one big can of corn cream with 2 small can of niblets is ok!)and put on the meat and after put the mash potatoes but make a creamy mash potatoes with a lot of butter and salt and pepper (don't be shy with salt and pepper, must taste!!!) And also milk enough to be smouth, don't put anything else, must taste potatoes but must be seasoning enough with salt/pepper/butter and milk IMPORTANT! And last layers it's a BIG batch of mozzarella cheese... Oh and me; I put in the meat mix only onions and when it's cook I put soya sauce to replace the salt, and the taste is AWSOME. Try it believe me you gona love it!
