Thank you for being An amazing example of such a heart felt women Who Can make me smile and think. Whoever got you as a grandma or mother is Truly blessed. The fast means nothing if you dont understand its meaning. Ironically Understanding how being hungry or not having access to your favorite drink or food or comfort (like war victims or slaves). … is thd purpose of Fasting. The idea that one day Youre just displaced and No longer CAN .. have that com’forting place or routine.. what it does to your thinking when ur hungry.. thirsty. Not in your comfort zone.. You see? One day of fasting has impact yo your thoughts surrounding sunset and when you get to eat and Your mind Cant think of anything else.. but a month of it.. Starts to have impact.. now ur Brain isnt functioning correctly and If left…. Can become Loss of abilities. Now think of starving people.. and how it feels to watch your child suffering while thanking God.. but having Others with excess food .. And have so much we throw left overs away or lose sight of that Tradition to throw away a Small bit of bread .. not realizing that that trash belonged to someone else.. But we didnt think of that. Did you know if no one earth drank alcohol.. there is literally enough wheat/Grapes and potatoes in wine , beer and Vodka alone to address world hunger? how many do we know sell and make this product that is toxic to our health , haram and also is a way for us to Avoid our lives (bring drunk.) pure hearts is about Having In your heart and mind a desire to help others, Answer prayers.. help Allah To raise’ peoples standards for moral conduct. and being willing to become anything they need to Want to “raise” rays others…. People think of sin like its tempting.. when you really truly understand how it becomes whats’sin ur heart.. You wouldnt touch it.. Its confusin’ painful and Chaos.. its hurtful and its not good for you or me.. or anyone and Allah is trying to give us examples of why in religious texts.. and scriptures. They are designed to Show you how you would feel if you were in the shoes of Muhammad, Musa, the pharoh, Ibrahim, Ishmael.. sarah.. asking why you make decisions and how you would feel if …. Ur adopted son musa .. Was freeing people you rightful gained as slaves…. Or a women having a baby where make babies are killed.. Were Mariam about to give birth and Its you and Allah .. and a tree given to you as your source of food… if you were Esa.. or Laban.. egyptian by birth… Or a co cubine wanting to become Muslim but ur “dirty” …. Purity is not about external things.. its about what your deepest intensions are and how much something like truth matters to you.. where you place truth.. people have To understand the reason to do something. Not becausw “allah said” but because Allah wouldnt say something if it didnt have a wise/whys behind it. Pur job is to ask Wise/whys until we get to the root. It doesnt make sense people lie.. unless you as Whys/wise . Its easy to stop at “they are selfish” or “personal gain” harder to go deeper of human “races” that keep us preconditioned to strive to have more be more. Stop from having the least.. Or prevent from having nothing.. We condemn the thief that steals for food but not the rich who does not share? (Not judging just pointing to something) If you want people you strive .. give them an example of someone awarded “most patient” .. most “selfless” Mosr brave.. nominate people .. “most Likely to tell the truth” or “Best teller of truth” Have people reach for things that matter and are of value.. and give them examples of that.. so they understand context: “Best handler of money” based on …. “Most likely to share” .. what made you choose them? Someone can be Great at money and kindness.. maybr theres unique combination awards “nicest banker’ kindest donator” Best actor wont hold a candle to “biggest heart” Most likely to succeed? Nah,.. Lets try “most likely to give up something they have for someone in need” Funniest? How about “most likely to win over an enemy with Logic and reasoning” Best Singer? How about best impression of Allah? and people compete to show their ability to be merciful: Most beautiful? How about Most Loving? We can decide what we value.. It does not have to remain what we used to think.
