To all of you saying to free Juno: she wouldn’t survive out there I know the feeling but it’s better junk being held with love and attention than dying horrible with few days on her own
@@thephoenix4093 No they don't. They simply feed off what their mom gives them. Marine Biology 101. Just admit you don't know what you're talking about.
@@TwinHacari and where is juno's mom exactly? She cant just be thrown into the wild and be expected to survive, because like I said its depending on their mother. Belugas dont instinctivly know where is food, how to get it, nor where to avoid because if dangerous animals. They live in herds, juno cant be expected to find one on her own.
There’s a difference between an aquarium and Sea World. One brings awareness, study and assistance to these animals and the other exploits them for monitory purposes.
@@sean5520 this fucking guy for some reason: i-i-if you have to pay to visit then it's exploiting animalssss!!!!! I'm pretty fucking sure you have to pay to walk around Yellowstone national park to keep the place running but I don't see you complaining about national parks exploiting animals and wildlife.
@@timinavoid4779I don’t think you understand these are belugas that can’t go back into the ocean because of a injury that they are trying to recover or they are keeping them for the safety of the animal please do research before you assume stuff I’ve been to mystic my whole life if you go there ask why don’t you let the belugas go
Humans are capable of walking 20 km a day. Should we all just turn vagabond then ?? These belugas are unfit for wild but here they are living in a more natural environment and this place is actually quite big .
why is he not in the ocean exactly? I see comments saying it was saved? Juno looks healthy to me, someone please explain why it’s right for this whale to be placed in a swimming pool?
There are less than 500 belugas in the wild today. Having them in aquariums is an act of saving them from poachers and predators so they can help conserve the species and help spread awareness by letting people learn about these beautiful creatures.
@@sociosanch3748 That's completely wrong, their conservation status is LC, least concern. If there were only 500 they'd be critically endangered. There are 22 known stocks of Belugas, with the largest being 15,000 in one area with many thousands per most of their locations, the smallest stock is close to 600 in one bay.
They would die on the wild, they don’t know how to hunt in then wild. They would starve, plus, there are only around 500 belugas in the wild because of poaching, so it is guaranteed that it would be poached if it was released.
