Haas, please don’t let Mick go; he’s just getting started and he’s ready to take off now…he’ll be amazing, you don’t seriously want to count last year as a genuine rookie season do you? If anything it hurt him. Give the kid a chance.
Great content! Amazes me how Mick's accent in english swings between almost Australian and then to American in different interviews. So crazy that english isn't both of their first language, they speak so well.
@@kenmahyu Technically the curriculum is UK english but because everybody's exposed to US version through media, the end result is often a mixed bag. I ended up writing US english at university and I remember for my Master Thesis we had a censor from the UK. He was fuming because we used US spelling in our report, lol... he really didn't like it at all.. he hated it like the plague.
@@HoJSimpson I mean yeah but in Hungary Kevin got the meatball flag for something that wasn't his fault, France he was doing a mega job but Goatifi left him no space and in Austria he had engine issues hence why Norris was able to overtake Magnussen
@@HoJSimpson That is not enough. He haven't shown anything in 2-3 seasons 🙂 I wish him good though, but if his name had been "Schnitzel" and not Schumacher, he had been out long time ago ;-)
@@n0tdanish521 sure. But Mick also had situations like this. What I am saying is that if he keeps up the trajectory, he will surely get a contract. There is a positive tendency
As someone who really likes half the grid this is strange to me. But yea Mick should definitely stay in F1 if his results continue as they have the last races. Tough start though.
Pretty sure this was filmed at the same time as their ask videos, so this video is probably five or six races old. I think they get along well, but it doesn't mean they are best buddies. Also, it's evident that they have heard some of the information before but just forgot. I forget stuff about my friends all the time.
Great stuff! Hope Mick has an awesome second half to the F1 season. We'll see how the upgrades do here in a couple days!!! Love Kevin's chill style/smile and calm demeanor - seem like they complement each other as team mates.
Kevin looked so disappointed when Mick didn't know about his 2nd place on his debut in 2014 in Australia (for McLaren). He overtook Lewis in Mercedes on the OUTSIDE during the race as well.
haha, I love how they are competing at knowing each other... like anything you can compete at, they will try and win. Love the team, hope for a strong back half of the season.
I think it’s because Kevin just chose medium all the way through. Also, I think they play to their weaknesses. A lot of the questions about Kevin was from his time in F1 before Mick was even associated with Haas - and Kevin is usually pretty sharp on F1 facts, so a lot of questions were about Mick’s private life.
Haas, please don’t let Mick to; he’s just getting started and he’ll be amazing, you don’t seriously want to count last year as a genuine rookie season so you? Give the kid a chance.
@@LarsRyeJeppesen well, I don‘t see a lot of eye-contact, his body is slightly turned away from Mick as Long as he is not required otherwise. For me he feels superior to Mick and there is not a lot of respect.
@@satai I see. Not sure, KMag is kinda introvert so that could be. Good observation though. From what I hear, they are on really good terms though. Cheers
@@LarsRyeJeppesen ya, could be, he does not look comfortable to me, so maybe it is because of that. I am not sure about their Relationship: Kmags reaction to Mick crashing in Monaco was Not like being worried about a mate, but somehow angry. But it is only hard-guessing from my side ;)
@@Soli11 Yeah that's more than likely. It's just their accent is incredibly familiar, and sounds very much like a northern town in England. Just wondered if I would be right in my geographic prediction
@@josephhenning1781 Actually, now you mention the voice, it could be Kevin’s press person. You know the guy with the guy with the glasses who is always beside him and recording him? I think this voice is very similar to his. Maybe you can look it up and see if he’s from that area.
Kevin deserves a better team. mclaren did him the worst in letting him go when he was young and they sucked any ways so it was for the best, but dumb of mclaren. Go watch his best starts in an gp. One of the best starter on the grid.
F1 is gonna miss d ric if he goes. He genuinely has more personality than these two combined. He understsnd f1 is an entertainment sport and he is an entertainer
I just like an honest impression of them as people. They don't need to be entertaining personalities for my sake and it just seems fake when the driver is *too* aware of what is expected. As I feel with Ricciardo sometimes. Kimi was a gem in this regards since he didn't give a shit *and* was inadvertently funny not giving that shit.
