Yeah I love piezo pick ups I don’t run them like you did but I get why just to blast that acoustic sound which it did amazingly! I just run it through my orange amp on clean and they sound super good just not AS twangy as your set up

Hmm sommat extra going on there. The crunchy rhythm and the lead line didn't merge, so the distortion must be pre-looper. Either there's a dirt pedal in there somewhere or the looper is in the BadCat fx loop.

He is using 2 amps, 2 rhythmic lines were recorded, then he starts to play a solo. What is troubling you?

You can see him fiddling with the knobs after playing the rythm gtr. I’m gonna make an educated guess and say he’s turning the volume up on his guitar, therefore more gain.

@@imjustherefortheks try it. If your distortion comes after the looper, the 2 parts intermodulate with each other.
